This is happening in every major city. It might be as exposed as some but it's happening. I'm from Dallas and I remember about 10 years.. maybe a little longer. We saw certain areas closing a lot of apartments down, homes being vacant especially in South Dallas, East Dallas, West Dino and Oak Cliff ( where I grew up) and all of a sudden. These apartments were demolished and new ones go up or built next to the old apartments, which made the prices climb. Same as homes. They made it hard for older people to keep their homes by raising property taxes. I have family in LA, NYC and I been to almost every major city. This country is trying to extract our communities but we're not helping ourselves neither. We don't take pride in ourselves, our business or communities. I pray 🙏🙏🙏 that something redirect our love for one another and our communities.

Happenin in most major cities near you. Same thang happenin here in Chicago. It's a "PRICE OUT!"
Certain folk NOT gonna be able to afford a basic apt. Here, not far from where they building the obama center, the rent has gone up EXCESSIVELY! Was told of a place rehabbed and a 2nd floor apt was supposedly going for $2100 Monthly. They area is still pretty "spicy" to say the least
Eventually, if you can afford it, you'll be able to stay. But, then toss the new foreigners in the mix. The lil affordable spot will be even more like the nba, a minimal spots left for the homegrown folk
Rest In POWER to the Brother Sodi

I left Southern California in 2013 way before Covid way before the 2020s and the mass exodus of California. Best decision of my life. I've been in Pennsylvania (The East Coast) 10 years and I love it! I will never move back to CA even if offered $20 million hell naw 😂

Problem is that ninjaz dont have any real money to do anything about it, & if they do; a collective of them wont do anything. Number 2, what good is it to have the same situations in these areas if nothing is going to change? We need money to be in the conversation to pull any kind of stings. We as a people get phased out, but are the most important throughout this world.
