I ended up really liking Shakespeare in the end. His eccentric attitude and mannerism were funny, but it wasnt until he shattered the 4th wall that i realized he was a boss. I have to say there was something fitting about his end, seeing the greatest performance of all time happen before his eyes, hastily writting his manuscript and upon finishing it discards it to the wind, dying with content.
Thanks for explaining how a non hero like Jack and such could be summoned in the Apocrypha timeline when Angra Mayun never happened. Was wondering about that for a while
According to legend, Atalanta and Meleager has a mutual feelings but Meleager has a wife and died earlier because of protecting her dignity. You also forgot that Achilles would never use his shield on three persons again. Chiron because of being his teacher and father figure, the Amazon Queen Pen-chan because of pity for killing such a beautiful woman (which anger the later.), and Hector because of being annoying.
Actually, it isn't confirmed that loli!Jack is a Jack the Ripper. Even she herself don't know that. Also, Amakusa's natural class is Caster, the Eizberns literally shoved him into Ruler class container.
From Apoc materials: "However, even they themselves do not know for certain whether or not they were “Jack the Ripper”. After all, they are an amalgamation of evil spirits, so their memories are always vague and, even if they remember having killed prostitutes, it’s uncertain who exactly they killed. What they kill as Assassin is not a specific individual, but rather the society that killed them, and the strong emotions they carry cannot be understood by any other hero, making them beyond salvation."
Heck, I could've sworn I'd read that she was the amalgamation of souls resulting FROM the killings in London around that time, both murder and abortion alike, which is why there's also the Jack the Ripper from Strange Fake that has no form but is male, and takes that form because he represents the mystery of the killer having never been caught. This is the first time I'm hearing about the amalgamation of souls having existed and been killed by a mage back in London.
Been watching through your videos the last few days while procrastinating my master’s thesis. I love how succinct and informative your content is! Thank you for putting in the time to make these great videos!
As far as I can tell, his NP is basically the ability to create reality, he just uses puppet actors when doing the flashbacks. What he writes becomes real, which is why a command seal is used on him by Shirou near the end to not turn his story into a tragedy. I'm not currently looking it up, but I'd have to guess that anything he creates is weaker than the original, similar to Shirou Emiya's projections, but it's still a noble phantasm so it's still powerful.
Another vid from OtakuDaiKun?! (Nice touch with the Midnight Interval ost in the background) Nice job with this one. Also Atalanta and Jeanne best waifu. Maybe Semiramis.
Because the Moon Cell, while similar to the root, doesn’t work the same way. The automata won’t record the memory and history of heroic spirits the same way as the throne of heroes.

Well a lot of people argue they're not tied in at all, which I think is silly. Since Type Moon keeps the canon unconfirmed it would be mostly my own personal theories and interpretations. As it stands I see no reason why Fate/Stay, Apocrypha, or Grand Order can't literally exist in the same world.
OtakuDaiKun Well, Grand Order can’t exist in the same world as Fate/Stay Night for very important plot reasons involving who won the Holy Grail War. As for Tsukihime, it turns out that the Dead Apostle Ancestors can’t be organised in a world where Servants can be summoned. Heroic Spirits apparently reinforce the Human Order while Dead Apostle’s deny it. I’m not entirely certain myself, but I just thought I should warn you. That comes for Strange Fake by the way.
X L Really? I always thought that the Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night worlds were connected at least. Out of curiosity who would win in a fight the heroic spirits or the dead apostle ancestors? Basically put all the heroic spirits and all the ancestors in a ring and get them to fight to the death Fate/Apocrypha style.
aliastheabnormal Fun fact, you know Roa? Well, in the Fate verse the guy who killed him wasn’t Tohno Shiki, it was Edmond Dantes the Count of Monte Cristo.
OtakuDaiKun I'm happy for you. The effort you put into making well laid out content is deserving. If only we had more OtakuDaiKuns and less trash who I refuse to mention as to not give them further recognition. (Cough) Pogan Laul (cough). Excuse me.
That would complicate the whole entire plot to an extreme degree so I disagree, plus a lot of people don't even like Shiro. (I think he's very meh but not as bad as Kirito from Sword Art Online) Annoying, naive, stubborn, clueless, selfless to the point it's a huge flaw, and all of these things have put the people close to him in mortal danger. In one ending in the VN he tries to outrun BERSERKER and has the nerve to grab Rin's hand so he can "save her"...two seconds later she pushes Shiro out of the way of getting impaled by Berserker's axe-sword. Next thing you know she is hanging in air from that same weapon after being run through by it. Archer shoulda killed him right away.
@@BarkingShark I don't hate Shirou, but I really don't like the idea of VN just shoving him into another series that has absolutely nothing to do with him. It would be kind of annoying like how they constantly shove a saber face servant into all of these series.
Really nice video as usual :) Just sad you didn't talk about Karna's other motivation, being simply to make sure no one get their hands on something as possibly dangerous as the grail.
I went back to find where he claims this, and it was around the start of episode 15. However as you say his loyalty primes, and he just says that once the black faction is done, he'll reduces to ashes anyone seeking the grail. So yes it ended up being a bit of open interpretation from me. It can says he doesn't want anyone to obtain the grail, but can also be just a threat to shiro, stating that once he got what interested him out of their cooperation, he'll come destroy him as revenge for his former master.
Strange that Emiya (Archer) knew of this universe perhaps this was when he Was a guardian before he was summoned by Rin as Archer goes off to different parallel universes and timelines and he might have either heard or saw the Holy Grail war go down and didn’t bother helping out because he had other important matters.

Diakun, you convinced to watch the Fate series. My question is, I don't know where to begin. Please make a video on spoiler free Fate guide for new fans trying to get into it but feel it's overwhelming.
david sabillon There's a simple solution actually. I'd recommend starting with Fate/Zero then watching Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works (the series not the film). From there you can pretty much branch out to anything else.
Swordking X4 At the end of her legend after her husband forgot to thank Aphrodite for helping him marry Atalanta, she made them have 'intercourse' in Zeus's temple. Depending on which version of the story either Zeus gets mad for having sex in his temple or Artemis gets mad because she broke her vow of chastity. Either way they end with the two turning into lions under the past belief that lions do not mate with each other, thus her husband forever living in the friend zone.
Darius is Iskandar's rival though, so I called a while back that it'd most likely be him. Ironically didn't guess Arjuna despite Karna being a big figure in Extella.
You're right. Demigod kids being left is pretty common. I'd say they need to fix that problem but the Age of Gods (hehe) is over so there wouldn't be any chances to fix it.
WAIT A SECOND!!! "With the exception of a single spot"? but look at this: 1:21!, HIS BODY IS ALMOST ALL COVERED WITH HIS ARMOR, Shouldn´t his legs, arms and almost everything in his body be vulnerable? Was he naked in the real myth?
Magnumx Hmm the dub says Kei-ron but I deviate from the dub a lot here anyway. I'll admit my pronunciations are off and will be corrected in the individual servant videos.
OtakuDaiKun they did call him Kei-ron, but they also very oddly pronounced Shiro's last name. Honestly I think most of the dub pronunciations are off. Kai-ron was what Google seemed to suggest as correct. At least to me.
Hey guys what would happen if King Arthur was the servent of black instead of Seigfried. What do you think it would happen since Mordred is the servent of red
Er...if there was a season 3 there wouldn't really be anything to tell. And Mordred wouldn't really be there unless she would be summoned again. But if it does make you feel better, the Fate/Grand Order London Singularity features Mordred as one of the main characters.
I really hope they make patrochlus a servant and their relationahip canon, i loved their interactions and even more they distroyed my heart in the song of achilles 💔
Shirou Kotomine Another fictional version of Shiro Amakusa was referred to that way. Works well enough for this one too-especially since he actually does stuff.
One thing I found stupid was in episode 13 (maybe) that when Mordred ran in and attacked the Golems in the hanging gardens she doesn’t have her armor or helmet, why?
I can only guess she didn't wanna waste mana taking out mere golems. From the look of things she'd been draining Shishigou's mana quite a bit up to that point.
Atelier God Well simply showing your face doesn't mean people know your true name. The reason it was good to use her helmet at the church was because it prevented the servant ability that discerns true names.
really appreciate this breakdown. I watched apocrypha (which is like one of the most awkward words to type) a few years ago and loved it, I always felt like fate was the exact kind of story that I should be in love with, but deen/stay night and UBW never clicked with me. But this series ended up with so many good moments and excellent characters. Anyway the lore behind jack is true but the reason she's dressed like that is horny fate nonsense.
@@OtakuDaiKun imagine if Medea was summoned as Caster of red. I don't hate Shakespeare but in terms of usefulness he only has that one moment when he uses his Noble Phantasm but other than that he doesn't have much going for him except comic relief
Love Atalanta and Achilles fall in love. And Atalanta the most lovely Neko! She is mine! My sexy lovely Neko. Her and Achilles death are so sad but at least they were in each other's arms. Note shout out to Spartacus! Spartacus Spartacus!! Love the show Spartacus from Starz. "Let us teach them that all lives have worth. And that Freedom we make our own Fate! I am Spartacus!" ~Spartacus War Of Damn~ final battle and last episode.
OtakuDaiKun You make it sound as though she was forced to marry someone right after reuniting with her father, challenge be damned, when that’s not the case. Yes, her father insisted on marrying someone but, in fact, that’s the reason why she came up with the foot race idea AFTER reuniting with her father, not before.
OtakuDaiKun That’s what I said. The way you described it, though, you made it sound as though the challenge before reuniting with her father who ended that and forced a marriage on her. That wasn’t the case.
Allen Walker A human with enough magic to stay around as long as Darnic anyway. He also has his servant strength at many points so a bit of both I guess.
IMO, if you compare it to other Fate Series, even Prisma Illya, it looks to me like it doesn't use any distinctive art style from any other random action series. The other series/movies look more like they had a step still in the realism camp.
Plus Karna isn't the best Servant to summon in the first place. He EATS a LOT of Mana. It's frankly a miracle his Master in the first Fate Series was able to maintain him... Plus his final Noble Phantasm basically made him extremely weak.
Well they missed many good opportunities with the Servants and the Characters due to them being terribly shoehorned into roles that don't fit the setting or aren't developed to be very interesting, if I had my way Avicrbron and Spartacus would be cut out, because their interpretation and roles in this story feels so redundant and bad, especially Spartacus, who turned Cronenberg instead of Badass( Why couldn't they modelled him after Andy from the Spartacus series)and Avicebron fitting better as an ally for Archimedes than being in Apocrypha as sub boss, with Jack I have similar problems. I would have for the red faction, switched Karna's class to Archer, Atalanta to Berserker, Achilles as Lancer and as Rider, Mehmet the Conqueror as a feud for Vlad, due to the former killing the later, he would have the ability to summon the sword of Muhammad due to him being seen as successor of Muhammad like all Islamic leaders and the Mighty Ottoman Cannons he used against Constantinople, which according to the Builder of these Cannons are capable of pulverizing the Gate of Babylon. As Caster for the Black Faction I would have used Mwindo from the Kongo Epic starring him. He would be able to use his mighty Konga Flyswatter(it actually looks cooler than it sounds) to Summon lightning Bolts to roast his enemies, can turn it into a glowing sting that kills the target, but destroys it which makes impossible to use his first and third NP which is a temporary reality marble that will summon the Targets to the skies, where they will endure the pain of extreme cold by harsh rain, storms and ice while also experiencing heat from the Sun and the hit by aa cosmic ray of the Stars( after it, the RM disappears. For the Victim all of this will be like as if there were for one year trapped, but in our time, it's just one Minute. As a Character, he is the Iskander to Mordred in the sense that he criticized her desire to replace Artoria as King as selfish and destructive, as it s not how a true successor should do, because a true successor builds upon the legacy of it's precursor and makes things better like he did with his Father( you can read his story in the internet or watch Overly Sarcastic Productions to learn more and see what I mean here. PS: Daikun likes them, so will you), he is not a reflection of the old, but something new, which Mordred failed to be. The stort would be also different with seig being a side character and Ruler being our main.
Yuwan Hmm... I totally see your point but I guess the characters I cared about all got good roles in the story so it never came off as such. That said you could probably make one hell of a fanfic with all your ideas.^^
OtakuDaiKun Thanks it means a lot to me. Honestly I must admit that the Servants weren't all bad, Karna, Vlad, Mordred, Chiron, Ruler, Sieg, Astolfo, Shirou and Semiramis are all good, even Achilles and to some extent Shakespeare.
Fun Fact: One of the characters originally planned for the story but was cut out (because they wanted Fran's self sacrifice scene which turns out to empower Sieg near the end) is good golden boy berserker Sakata Kintoki, which I guess means they were also really into the idea of Sparticus being stupid and charging the enemy stronghold alone.
the be fair Spartacus only acted that way due to his madness enhancement, it has an effect on him that makes him reject his masters ideals to his rebellious nature... so basically he completley ignores his masters orders making him near impossible to control as a result... and only a master with no ideals of their own is able to control him.

OtakuDaiKun aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! You fucking suck!!! And do a lore video, any kind will do!!!!
Yuu Okami Lol the files I have are just numbered without titles.
15:47 where did you get the chart?
error 1 Google lol.
Welp I don't know what my 10 year old mind was thinking but yeah
Do you know where to find the chart about different command seals?
You are the first person as a UA-camr that ever talk to me, thanks.
Your Fate lore video's are always great.
But I had one question, why is Atlanta a cat girl?
Swordking X4
At the end of her legend after her husband forgot to thank Aphrodite for helping him marry Atalanta, she made them have 'intercourse' in Zeus's temple. Depending on which version of the story either Zeus gets mad for having sex in his temple or Artemis gets mad because she broke her vow of chastity. Either way they end with the two turning into lions under the past belief that lions do not mate with each other, thus her husband forever living in the friend zone.
Also her cat girl refreshes that part of her legend.
I mean reference
D H Damn, didn't know that!
OtakuDaiKun
You just made my day by commenting on something I said. I really love your videos and I can't wait to see you cover these guys.
Im suprised you dident mention casters ability to make noble phantasm
I'm calling it now. King Solomon has a flying city too
Good stuff!
William "Fucking" Shakespeare XD
Fate apocrypha Is so good I wish there was more backstpries in the anime with all these characters
Did you see the news? We have new characters in Fate Extella Link.
Tomé Filho Yeah. I'd prefer Fran to Darius.
Darius is Iskandar's rival though, so I called a while back that it'd most likely be him. Ironically didn't guess Arjuna despite Karna being a big figure in Extella.
Darius III was shit anyway, Cyrus is best Acheamenid Shah.
You're right. Demigod kids being left is pretty common. I'd say they need to fix that problem but the Age of Gods (hehe) is over so there wouldn't be any chances to fix it.
What’s the name of the song that plays when you talk about asfolfo
Yuu Okami Still from the Fate Stay Night visual novel OST.
OtakuDaiKun GATE?!!!
Yuu Okami I hate typing on a phone.
Astoflo is hippogriff a griffin
Oh wow a trap wielding a trap
WAIT A SECOND!!! "With the exception of a single spot"? but look at this: 1:21!, HIS BODY IS ALMOST ALL COVERED WITH HIS ARMOR, Shouldn´t his legs, arms and almost everything in his body be vulnerable? Was he naked in the real myth?
He was but fate censorship
William Fucking Shakespeare!
Joey Walliser worse than G.R.R.M
I was pretty sure that Chiron's name was pronounced Kai-ron, not Kay-ron. Maybe i'm wrong.
DIRE WOLF They probably wouldn't be able to have a peaceful conversation.
OtakuDaiKun maybe, maybe not but still they could possibly make up for the events of their past lives
DIRE WOLF When Artoria wants someone to replace her as king I wonder how she'd pick her replacement.
Indeed
Dai sensei What is the names of the anime you use for the intro of the video
We've got Sango from Inuyasha, Alisa from God Eater, Canaan, Fate/Zero, Judith from Tales of Vesperia, and Milla from Tales of Xillia.
Otaku, do you think there will be a season 3 of Fate Apocrypha??
luca godfrey No. The story is finished.
That’s heartbreaking, I really loved that series. I hope the new Fate anime’s will have Mordred in it, I would give my life for her.
Er...if there was a season 3 there wouldn't really be anything to tell. And Mordred wouldn't really be there unless she would be summoned again. But if it does make you feel better, the Fate/Grand Order London Singularity features Mordred as one of the main characters.
luca godfrey MORDRED!!!!!! Most badass servant in that anime!!!
I really wish my boi Spartacus was a better servant in Grand Order, i'll never forgive you Delight Works!
Dorumon Lives I guess the waifu get all the love.
I just wish Vlad had his vampire berserker form as a NP like Jekyll and Hyde do, especially since Vlad Extra basically has the same NP now.
Rukifellth Well Vlad hates that NP tho.
Spartacus is actually quite a good servant if you know how to use him. Besides, you need an AOE zerk in Farm/Grind Order.
@@OtakuDaiKun I wish Extra Vlad and Apocripha Vlad swamped classes
Interesting how even Amakusa's treachory is done with pacifism.
Am I the only one that thought shirou kotomine was alternate universe shirou emiya if he was adopted by kirei instead of kiritsugu?
Shakespeare is best caster!
Before this I thought Reika was being used to summon Jack because of Jack's victims
It makes sense but I guess the knives are more specific catalysts.
Is patrochlus and achilles relationship canon in the nasuverse?
Ilaria Falanga It doesn't explicitly say they're lovers. Thus for Achilles' lore video I won't say they are just to be safe.
I really hope they make patrochlus a servant and their relationahip canon, i loved their interactions and even more they distroyed my heart in the song of achilles 💔
Ilaria Falanga I mean they're still very close friends in Fate. They go just short of specifying whether they're in a sexual relationship.
I summon WILLIAM FUCKIN' SHAKESPERE IN ATTACK MODE
Good going apocrypha!
Abandoning children since ancient times!
PokeTube Yeah. Common af.
You think Astolfo drinks Monster energy?
I dunno.
So does this mean achilles mom have immortal fingers
Wasn't she already a goddess?
@@OtakuDaiKun aaah true
Why is it that the dark arts in Fate are normal practices of magi from the age of gods?
Jordan Allen Umm... to me they just seem like another school of mage craft. What else would they be?
I call him “Sir Shiro”.
My name is Father Kotomine, but you can call me daddy
Shirou Kotomine Another fictional version of Shiro Amakusa was referred to that way. Works well enough for this one too-especially since he actually does stuff.
One thing I found stupid was in episode 13 (maybe) that when Mordred ran in and attacked the Golems in the hanging gardens she doesn’t have her armor or helmet, why?
I can only guess she didn't wanna waste mana taking out mere golems. From the look of things she'd been draining Shishigou's mana quite a bit up to that point.
OtakuDaiKun while that is true, having her identity revealed to the enemy isn’t a good thing and Mordred should’ve known this.
Atelier God The thing is she’d already used her Noble Phantasm so there was no real point to keeping her identity secret.
X L the only one who would know the name to her knowledge would be Sieg not everyone else
Atelier God Well simply showing your face doesn't mean people know your true name. The reason it was good to use her helmet at the church was because it prevented the servant ability that discerns true names.
Is it possible for adolf hitler to be summoned as a servant..? What would his noble phantasm be???
Probably Mein Kampf sp?
Quite a few demi-gods
Lots of demi gods abandoned by their parents.
OtakuDaiKun Except Gil, his mother loved him and raised him as King.
Yuwan She should have taught him some manners.
Well she is type of Mother that spoils Children. her Great-Grandfather or great-uncle did a better Job at teaching him Manners.
Yuwan Well he rips out the hearts of children and tosses bull carcasses at goddesses.
really appreciate this breakdown.
It will great if you add subtitle on your video
Wait, where's Frankenstein?!
She's in one of the 4 videos.
Astolfo is my best friend! 😝😝😝😝😝😝😝
I didn't know Atalanta and Medea crossed paths
Sure did. Both teamed up with Jason for better or worse.
@@OtakuDaiKun cuz I just saw a another video about Jason and the Argonauts and Medea was never mentioned
Hasan Wilson That’s pretty wild. Like Jason totally ruined Medea’s life.
Found it 😔
You screwed up Atalanta’s story.
How so?
OtakuDaiKun
You make it sound as though she was forced to marry someone right after reuniting with her father, challenge be damned, when that’s not the case. Yes, her father insisted on marrying someone but, in fact, that’s the reason why she came up with the foot race idea AFTER reuniting with her father, not before.
Steven Choza I mean, it's kinda implied that she comes up with the race to avoid marriage.
OtakuDaiKun
That’s what I said. The way you described it, though, you made it sound as though the challenge before reuniting with her father who ended that and forced a marriage on her. That wasn’t the case.
So....do we consider Shirou a Servant or a human at this point? He was reincarnated
Allen Walker A human with enough magic to stay around as long as Darnic anyway. He also has his servant strength at many points so a bit of both I guess.
So....a Servant with a physical body?
Allen Walker Yeah, that's as clear as I'm aware of.
Fate Apocrypha's design is so generically anime, very different from UBW, Zero or even Deen's Fate.
SpecialNewb Generically anime?
IMO, if you compare it to other Fate Series, even Prisma Illya, it looks to me like it doesn't use any distinctive art style from any other random action series. The other series/movies look more like they had a step still in the realism camp.
XD! I’m just messing with you.
William Fuckng Shakespeare?!!!! Why?!
Yuu Okami Well he is quite the character.
OtakuDaiKun FU- actually your right, he is quite something.
Just notice that the Red Faction have the most demigod servant and yet....they all lost well due to plot 🤗
Kou Yang Well Karna was technically defeated by Achilles because of the shield.
Plus Karna isn't the best Servant to summon in the first place.
He EATS a LOT of Mana. It's frankly a miracle his Master in the first Fate Series was able to maintain him...
Plus his final Noble Phantasm basically made him extremely weak.
I'm sorry but it's really funny to hear you try to pronounce hebrew names
Naomi Ella What names would those be? I’m always learning.
Wait... I’m sorry but, Achilles was gay?? What? My brain and heart hurt now. Lol
Shelby LeAnn West Greeks and Romans were way more sexually open than modern cultures. I think it's more bisexual than anything else.
Achilles was well known to have relationships various persons. So...
Yeah.
