I was lucky enough to actually pet the largest white rhino they had there.Amazing creatures, very cute! And very sweet ^^ To me they felt like really dry leather, very hard, but soft...as odd as that is ^^ Beautiful ^^
we were just in toronto canada from june 15th to june 20th. we went to the zoo, the aquarium, the castleloma castle, niagria falls and the nhl hockey hall of fame and i think the zoo was my favorite part.
My mom always says when we ask to go, "We've been there over ten times! Why do you want to go so badly?" and my brother and I say, "It's the best place on Earth to us!" Not a single bad memory there! Ever since I was little, I've wanted to work as a vet just for the Toronto Zoo, and now I'm almost through highschool and plan to continue to pursue that goal
I'm working at the zoo in conservation and research (it's so awesome, unfortunately only for the summer) and there's a guy in my office who just finished highschool. he got his foot in through being a zoo ambassador and zoo camp councillor. Might be something you wanna check out if you haven't already :) Good luck with becoming a vet!
