It wasnt, he was deliberately making a fake reference as humour, he knew we were talking about JoJos bizzare adventures but he made a reference to some old/non existent singer :)

one day NL will learn that having 2-3-4 of the same weapon type in a class isnt actually bad if the weapon is good.
There's a lot of times where going well over is insanely good, Fighters get better when there is 6 of them because they can back to back link.
Mages also are good in batches of 3, and lots of mutations give them extra spells
This game is freaking cool, im glad they sponsored NL out of all people. He makes everything better with his witty comments and banter.
I swear, NL is the most successful form of marketing for me.
There's an advantage to having a large number of units with the same weapons. You don't have to play it so strict.
To be more exact. Imagine you are playing TFT and got a bunch of 5 cost units on your team, some of them 3 stars. That is what getting multiple high tier units to level 3 in Despot is like.

This game seems a little too referential for my tastes. Feels like there's a point where it's just pointing at things and saying HEY DO YOU LIKE THIS OTHER MEDIA FRANCHISE TOO???
A few thoughts about this game..., it is worth it to buy extra people, even without weapons as you get into harder floors. If your front-liners die, and drop their eqipment you can just re-equip a new dude. Worst case you can sacrifice a dude for food, additionally there were some low level solid defensive mutations NL didn't get. Later on into the game, maintaining the health on your front-liners will prevent your back line squishies from all getting killed. He had too many ranged units of different types and not enough front liners or a focused build for his back-liners. Additionally he got unlucky on 2 events losing out on 60 tokens and instead getting 2 useless mutations. Any number of these things could have probably helped him continue the run.
Game is interesting but I don’t understand how you deal with the lack of scaling rewards. I feel like I’m getting correctly powerful in the early game where I’m purchasing upgrades every now and then, but then it costs a billion money for upgrades while the rewards for clearing rooms stays the same.
I’ve beaten the game one time, but it just felt like a fluke.
EGG.. you are an amazing piece of burger meet; U're surely smart enough to realize that certain meat is better depending what U equip it with.. check the shop, there's more than one type of burger ;)... the more you upgrade the shop the better the burgers taste.. >:)
Its almost like he's purposely making it harder by consciously mousing over the armor upgrade then not taking it even though its cheap, but meanwhile buying more and more healers.
You and Dan should play House of Ashes. A while ago you guys played man of medan but stopped because of a glitch. This game is the newest game by the same people who made that and until dawn. I think you'll both really enjoy it.

Looking for healing synergies, yet passes up the upgrade that gives his units lifesteal.
also just completely ignores tanks that will pull aggro away from his DPS. if you have 3 tanks in the front row, the fencers won't even really get hit much.
He didn't have any egghead units
@@butterdubs2267 yeah you need some of everything pretty much to win this game.
when you work out the proper team composition then it becomes easy TBH.
eggheads can do secondary healing and obviously tanks tank damage.
I feel if he'd just gotten tanks earlier he'd have gotten much further.
I seen someone play this with the dev coaching them and they made sure to get tanks and to rotate damaged units to be healed.
He got the rotating down, but for some reason completely ignored tanks.
also that mutation that brought back healers probably would have been decent.

Not only that, they are so unexpected... like 22:45 is a clear Heroes of Might and Magic one (can't remember others, but in 3 it is a word by word copy of the week-start message).

hey NL keep up the episodes with this game cuz it is awesome also a side note if you do read le comments you died on that floor because you had lvl 1 magic protection and never invested in it again ( in the mutation tree)

I think you should upgrade the shop more so you can get difference medic to lv up your healer class skill to keep up with the damage increase
this is way cooler than loop hero
Still better than super auto pets
