What is left out in most videos about this car is the ZST core and vibe uses 91 unleaded with the 1.5l cvt and the ZST excite and essence which is mostly featured runs on 95 unleaded with the 1.3 turbo engine. Advantage of turbo and disadvantage are to be considered, don’t just buy it because people says it’s more powerful. Don’t buy one and regret you can’t pump 91 unleaded which is cheaper to run. The sun roof also has advantages and disadvantages. It can be hot, you may need to tint, and be prepared if the sun roof malfunction. People don’t consider this and think is cool.
I have purchased the ZST Core, for my daughter. The car surprised me. I was looking at a Kia Stonic. This one is Better with Moire. The price was a surprise.
Great car, Japanese, South Koreans and German cars have been taking Australians for a ride with rip off prices, finally a manufacturer that is giving Australians value. I think MG has great future and their safety rating is now comparable to other big brands
What you’re looking at is surface level, not enduring quality like a Japanese or even Korean cars these days. No one is cross shopping this with anything German lol, don’t worry about that. They have to price competitively if they want to take sales from Kia or Hyundai or Toyota. I’d love it if we know that it will be reliable in the long run but I’ll allow others to be the guinea pigs here.
If you're worried about safety, then it's best to go for ZS EV. That one have a 5 star Euro NCAP rating. As for reliability, EVs have significantly fewer moving parts compared to ICEs. My experience with the ZS EV so far is that it's not like a... "The $2 Shop" experience. Electric motor, transmission and heck even A/C haven't fallen apart. The car even mended herself when there was an ABS sensor issue, no need to send for sensor replacement.
The Question is for around $25,000 are you better off getting a similar used car like a mazda cx5 thats a few years old with no or little warranty but has proven reliability or the new MG ZS with a 7 year warranty but unproven reliability
For that money better of with a vitara T proper 4cyl turbo with a 6sp tc auto suzi has a solid reputation of reliable cars that can can rival Toyota on reliability
Do we really trust Chinese made cars? Afterall, Huawei is banned for a good reason. The infotainment system is just another tunnel for the Chinese to spy on Australia
MG ZST 2WD runs on regular gas affected by irreparable gas price inflation and stuck at traffic jams that made buses very late in the rush hour, then take the electric car cheap and safe but filthy expensive, batteries run out of range and can’t tow a caravan otherwise take the electric cable commuter train done dirt cheap zero emission transport.

Give it a couple years and they'll jack up the prices too.
Great video, well edited and all the essential info with nice B footage.
Thanks Axle! Very kind.
Great review on a hugely growing brand and a great alternative to South Korean and German cav’s - no wonder these are selling well
Mine has just arrived yesterday and I’m very satisfied with it
Mine today
Great car and great value. At least it'll make the Japanese and Germans reconsider their money grab from naive Aussies

thos gotta be the greatest intro i've ever seen! hilarious!!!
Ha, thanks Ziad.
What's its safety Rating. How Long will the Motor, Gearbox, How Long will the MG Last Before it Falls Apart. Thank you.
Just like any other car. Jeep and Mini coopers fall apart faster than these. MGs are cheap and reliable

I can't believe anyone could buy the asx as a new car today. I mean, that is insane.

I have the series 1 vitara t. Im honestly thinking about selling that and buying this car. You get more for your money.
Just don't cry if you see that Chinese MG on your tail while you're on a winding road!
I went to buy mg5 but reverse camera quality sucks i ended buy other car
White Ruth Miller James Walker Brenda
Sorry not impressive. The engine capacity is too small for a small SUV

Huawei were banned for a good reason ? What was that? There was no evidence

Rather insert forty cents to ride 🚍public transport than hop in MG ZST endorsed by his Majesty Charles III and Harry & Meghan.
Chinese Crap, don't bother
