It's true. Hurricane is a very strong base gun, several of the overclocks are considered overpowered or very strong. I especially find plasma burster missiles great for gunners role in general. Same for jet fuel homebrew. The only downside is a lot of hurricane builds aren't as good at range with the projectile travel time.
Wouldn't it have been better to kill the Nexuses so you wouldn't have that constant trickle of ammo drain? Or would that have taken more ammo than this has?
The general rule is that nexuses aren't that big of an issue unless they're in close proximity for long periods of time, which is why they killed it after finding out the location of the fuel cells was near enough to the nexus that it's spawns would become too troublesome.
For the most part they're just a time and ammo waste, for something that is really a none issue in holds with a good driller. Even then you can usually just hit them with the pickaxe or some aoe weapon. It makes sense in a cryo team if it's convenient to clear them
Max AoE for the Missile Launcher looks pretty effective on those Mactera, but why just 3-burst with Lead Spray? It's still not even reliable at range nor will it make for maximum damage in a single burst that way.
For the most part I'm just trying different things. But I find the stun to be more helpful usually, it's a very strong effect. Also the recoil on 6 round is just insane, and maybe wastes some ammo
Solo 5+ all is harder than 6x2 40Nitra, but as the Nitra cost goes up 6x2 gets much harder. The mob cap on 5+ makes team play a lot easier, it's very common for tanky enemies like oppressors and prets to just disappear in 5+
I love when they let the driller speak at the beginning to say "WE FIGHT FOR ROCK AND STONE".
It's amusing base Hurricane is so strong besides Minelayer and Cluster Charges, its two Cleans are still some of the strongest Overclocks for AoE

@DarthSyphilis You can always try Composite Casings. That's what I use. Even then you can still utilize the Stun effect.
