Flamework Demonstration - How I Make a 13mm Glass Bead
Вставка

- This is a close up view over my shoulder as I flamework. You can see my process from start to finish with very little editing as I form a round bead and decorate it with tiny dots. I filmed this demonstration at my glass bench where I work every day so you can get a real feel from inside my studio.
I am using Effetre COE 104 glass
Torch: GTT Lynx

Such a sweet bead ... I can see why this would be addictive. Thank you, Kristina.
You are so welcome!
I’ve been following you and your work since I started making beads 15 years ago. Thank you for being so open in sharing your work. When I first started making beads I was thoroughly unimpressed with dots. I thought they were simple. How wrong I was! They still challenge me to this day!
Many thanks for following what I do! Dots are both simple and complex! 😆🔥
Hello Kristina, I've been watching you now just about two weeks. I'm taking bead glass making classes at art school and loving it. However I know practice makes perfect. You're truly the dot queen😁.
Thanks for the kind note and I wish you many happy hours practicing at the torch! 🔥
I've always loved your work, Kristina. Thank you for sharing your time with the flame and this calming video. 💜
You are so welcome! I appreciate you following what I do 💕
You did it! Thanks for sharing your work process, philosophy, and gorgeous studio with us. The photography is wonderful and the beads are inspiring. Incroyable!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
Thank you for sharing. Watching on your hands in process is always best lesson for me❤
You are so welcome! Happy to hear this!🔥
Well thank you for that...mesmerizing to watch you gently make a gorgeous bead!
Oh, thank you! Welcome to my world 🔥😊🔥
November of this year will be the 30th anniversary of my first bead making class, and I am forever grateful that my teacher was you! This video is wonderful and I hope you make many more.
Thank you Annette! I remember when we met oh so many years ago! Wishing many happy hours still at the torch 🔥
Hi Kristina. My dot bead exploration end about 2003. I was fun. Taught me a lot. Focus and attention. Disaplined my mind.
Mesmerizing watching you create this perfect little bead. I love how slow and meticulous you work. Thank you so much for sharing.
You are very welcome! I hope slowing down is helpful to you 😊
Love it! Look at all those beads just laying around on your counter. Have terrific memories of your bead class in France. Thanks.
Bonnie
Ah! That workshop in France was the best. Thank you for following my work all these years!
So happy to see you uploading videos and can't wait for more!
Yay! Thank you! I am making more for sure!👍
Still so very cool to see!

Kristina! You inspire me to new experiments in lampwork technique. Thank you!
Yeah!! Happy to hear that! Enjoy experimenting!🔥👍
It's a pleasure to get a view over the shoulder as you create these beautiful small beads. And the video/production quality is very good, a nice and relaxed vibe.
I’m glad you enjoyed your virtual studio visit and vibe 🔥🙏🏼
I am following you everywhere, I am so happy you started to make videos!!! And it is amazing! Colorful, calm, beautifully done both video and bead! ❤❤❤

So special to see you again, thank you!
Thank you too! 😄
Great video Kristina! Way to start off with a bang! Lovely videography and commentary. Very inspiring 💖💘
Thanks Helen! Wishing you many happy hours at your torch!🔥💕🔥
Thank you 🙏 very much! I’m so glad you made this video. I now understand how much planning, preparation, and measuring goes into it as well as how patient you are and how much patience I should have with myself. Truly grateful. I am really excited to go back to the torch as soon as I can. 🥰
I’m so glad to hear about what you gained from watching! I hope you enjoy experimenting with slowing down next time you are at the torch 🔥😊
Love your necklace. ❤ Enjoyed watching you work. Always so beautiful creations.
Many thanks! 😊

Many many thanks! 🔥
Wonderful video, thanks so much for sharing :)
Beautiful work! 💙
Such a fan of your special, unique & spectacular work! Thanks for sharing this video! ❤
Thank you so much 😀.
I am reminded why I work slow and cool when I watch you ,making beads. You were my very first teacher (In a mill in NH, you were pregnant with your first child) and I was so intimidated! All these years later I still work that way and my love for glass has only grown. Thank you for all the beauty and good habits.
Thanks for your note Joanne! I’m so happy to hear that you still love working glass 💕🔥
I saw your channel pop up in my recommended and subscribed immediately. Wonderful video, thank you for sharing. I have the exact same torch (GTT Lynx), and had to pack all my stuff away a few years ago until I can be in a place where I can set up a studio again. I miss it a lot! Been inspired by your work for a long time. 💚
Thanks for your note and subscribing!! I hope you can set up your Lynx soon! 🙏🏼🔥😘
Thank you for sharing, such a special video ❤

Ahhhhh! You are welcome!! I absolutely love process too!
🤩 wow it was so worth the wait . I had no idea you sat so low to the torch but the benefits are there to see. You really are Queen Dottie and on such a small bead.
I found your technique and the music incredibly inspiring & relaxing.
Well done my lovely xx
Thank you Jo! I sit low so I will have a straight spine while working. This helps me feel comfortable for many hours at the torch.
p.s. My son composed the music! 🎶
next....!! (haha.. more more!!)
Ahhh! I am definitely making more! 😂👍
