- I'm aware that the Tree Sentinel isn't a big deal for a lot of people anymore, but I'm just hoping this video will help some of the other harpists out there playing Elden Ring.

It took me 2 hours to beat this guy naked at level 1 with the stick, I can't imagine doing that shit with a harp, this is impressive
Wow this is seriously impressive. You’re more skilled with a harp than i am using a controller and 50 tries on the boss. Would you ever consider doing an ER play-through?

Haha thanks. I know some Souls games have been played with instruments like guitar or piano, so I thought it'd be cool if my instrument was represented, too!

How can someone play Souls game, using a harp, focusing on bosses, while BREATHING, actually awake, it's not even a dream, and also contantly talking to the viewers!?!? Did you went to NG+7 on LIFE?
It's actually not too bad! All you need is time, patience, a decent PC, a program or three that converts live sound to keystrokes, and a little bit of masochism. And also a harp :D

Yeah, I'm planning on doing more boss fights! One of the best feelings I get from these games is really internalizing movesets, but on my PS5 controller playthrough, there were definitely some bosses that I beat without really knowing how. I don't think that's possible with my harp though, so...what I'm trying to say is that I'm a FromSoftware addict and will go to great lengths to capture the same feeling I had when I beat my first Soulsborne boss.

Also, re: the cloth, that's really smart. I remember that when LobosJr played Dark Souls on electric guitar he kept having issues with resonance and octaves and whatnot, haha.
Ahh, it was SO annoying before I started using the fabric! Constant misread commands 🙄
So after I plug my harp into the computer, I run MiGiC (which turns the harp notes into MIDI), output that to Bome MIDI Translator (which turns the MIDI into keystrokes), and then it's like I'm playing with a computer keyboard

Ah, that's definitely fancier than his setup, haha! LobosJr used a tool called Abject Audio Inputs, which skips the MIDI step and just matches particular frequencies with keyboard inputs. *Definitely* more prone to glitching, I suspect. 😁

Wait, how are you moving your character tho? Do you have analog joysticks for your feet or something? Don't know how you'd do analog input with the harp. Or am I missing something important here?

How many hours have you spent playing souls games that you can fight a tough boss at level one with a ridiculous control scheme, while also splitting your focus enough to explain the details of your ridiculous control scheme? You know what, I don't actually want to know. I can't imagine any number you could tell me that would seem like enough.
