Dude I remember back when teams knew vikes were gonna run the ball and still they couldn’t stop him. I was in aw of how good he was. Still a top ten back in the league which is insane
Jon Allen 13,000 yds rushing over 100TDs and almost 5 yards a carry is not HOF worthy even with off field issue? There’s plenty of players who’ve done worse than AP and were inducted anyways
at 34 years of age adrian peterson is still an abuse at RB. for me is still the best pure runningback in the legue. and he still has rockets in his feet.
@@thevinceberry i was just about to say that he probably has one of the best Rb visions to ever play the game tbh man sees holes, cutbacks, blocks every damn thing 😂
Hell yeah. Y’all wouldn’t have had anything. But it’s been like that for most of the teams Adrian Peterson’s played for throughout his career. He’s usually the only weapon. Nothing new for him.
Slim is chillin Yep! That 2,097-yard season was all him. Christian Ponder was trash. The one year he had a solid QB, damn Favre had to throw across his body...
Lark Sauce I mean.. you can stop him. Lol He had that 90 yard TD run in the first quarter against the Eagles... then got less then 20 yards the rest of the game.
It fell apart after smith so can't help but wonder if smith didn't get hurt cause that's the best this team as ever played AP looking like his old self Alex Smith showing why he's a great QB, defense was top 15 and Jordan Reed was the healthiest he's ever been
that dumbass list, mixon wasnt even on there ...but ap damn sure shoudlve been on there 1k yards or not...considering the players that didnt even ball was on there, or they was out half the year
Remember playing Madden 09 and using AP just destroying everyone, later on just became a absolute fan. Crazy to see 10 years later he’s still doing it, just so crazy man.... his determination; he is by far my biggest inspiration as a man.
That rookie should be a bonafide starter in the league when he gets his chance but no one thought not even in the organization that guice was going to take AP job. They drafted guice mainly for his potential and another form of health insurance incase AP goes down.
He is more of a power back and I agree with most that AP should be the starter. He fits well with the Redskins offensive scheme especially with Alex Smith at QB.
It’s crazy yeah most people know he’s a hall of famer and know he was nice asf in his prime but now it’s like he’s underrated lol everybody is doubting him now and he had a incredible season with skins
There’s nothing I love more then seeing a player that everyone and their mother has counted them down and out. Then they come out and have a productive season. Being a ravens fan. The ravens love bringing in vets and I see them be productive after being considered washed up but everyone else
Dude, the way he literally hops and then stand still for a beat... Evaluating.... And then the acceleration. And then the stiff arms and trucking... This dude has always been special. one of those dudes that's just kind of a nightmare to play against.
Hes a once in a generation talent at RB. Guys like him, Clinton Portis and Curtis Martin will have people watching their highlights in 15 years the way we watch guys like Bo Jackson, Payton, Jim Brown, etc. Martin and Portis were way underrated.
People need to respect AP way more, they act like he’s isn’t elite. He’s still one of the top backs in this league and the numbers speak for themselves, he has another 1000 yard season coming. Much love to you AD!🤙🏿💥
Man he’s got explosiveness out of this world as soon as he touches the ball and open field speed still especially the clip against the eagles nobody could catch him.
Because RB is the easiest role to transition from college to nfl or from one team to another. And teams don’t run that much anymore. So it’s very easy to just draft a player or sign someone off a bench somewhere for real cheap and they will be plenty serviceable. RB just aren’t that valuable anymore
A.P his floyd of football, but his teams suck. Sad he will never get a ring but he broke a 2000 yard year after AFTER THEY SAID "HE WAS DONE" MUCH MUCH RESPECT A.P!!!!! We see you ALL DAY👍🏿😎
That style of explosive running nearly resembles Walter Payton's however the only thing he's missing is attacking the tackler with a punishing human wrecking ball blow with lowering of the helmet shoulder forearm elbow or a knock down stiff arm tactic prior to making impact for additional yardage! A.P. looks good though and obviously still has it.
You look at what he can do, at what he has done all with a weak QB most of the time . For Gruden to have sat him in the first game of the 2019 season really shows why he is not coaching anymore and probably never will again . Go A P
Walter Payton He’s before y’alls time. Could run over people, Won a Super Bowl, best blocking back ever, could bench press 400 pounds & walk 50 yards on his hands. RIP
Big Rich AP BEST BACK EVER! No disrespect to Walter and Sanders Ap era til now? Game is to Strong Fast and Talented Now days then back in Walter and Sanders Era..
STEELER 48 he’s the closest thing we will ever get to bo Jackson. In the sense of power speed and agility he can run guys over and leave them behind. And he’s still dominate .
He's definitely lost a step or two, no denying that. But the way he hits the hole and makes his cuts is still as good as ever. If he can stay healthy, and keep delivering hits as a power back, he can stick around the league for a few more years easy.
His vision and decision making are better though. Same with guys like Larry Fitzgerald, Terrence Newman, James Harrison, Jason Peters, Charles Woodson, Junior Seau and so on. The brain is 10x as valuable as the body for older veterans.
Riichie freshkidintown wtf are you talking about. Saints drafted AP as a 3 string backup that year. Also I think Kamara and Ingram have been pretty good the past couple years. You don’t know shit about football. However AP is still a beast and HOF back imo!
Riichie , sorry bro, Saints know how to use Running backs. AP just didn't work out being 3rd on the depth chart. His style didn't fit the saints offense, although I think if he was given a chance, he would have had success in Ingram's role.
Everyone blamed his age for his mid season slowdown. I don't think it had anything to do with! He lost almost his entire o-line and his QB and then he had a sharp drop off. Had that not happen, I think he could have been top 10. He is one Darrius setback from being a top 20 RB season in close to the last pick in fantasy. He might not have his old speed but he still has power and instincts.
welp, Darius to the IR. I picked up AP in late rounds of fantasy football in case Guice went down. He is still not getting the respect he deserves this year. I think he will be a top 15 back the next 8 games while experts are putting him in the top 35.
AP lost a step or two but he is still one of the hardest working RBs. Some of those runs, he would have taken it to the house like he did 5-7 years ago.
A body does not last forever but it’s safe to say that AP knows some shit that 95% of other running backs in the league don’t.
forw4rdp422 he’s AD, that’s the secret.
Frank Gore and Darren Sproles are the only ones worthy of the secret.
No denying AP's spot in the HOF. Vikes should bring him back for a season before he retires. Many grateful fans here in Minny.
Dude I remember back when teams knew vikes were gonna run the ball and still they couldn’t stop him. I was in aw of how good he was. Still a top ten back in the league which is insane
He prolly won't get into the HOF because of the reasons he was suspended... Generational talent for sure though

One cut and he’s destroying a 1v1 defender in front of him. Don’t matter the size or position
His vision and jump cut should be 99 in Madden with a stiff of arm of 97
They should have like 2012 Devin Hester and make both 100

Marvin Angelo Why?

Dont confuse wear and tear with age. AP has only played 40 some games the last 5 seasons so hes really younger than his age indicates
Fred Wilson but you do have to take the injuries into account, that does count and does Shorten your miles

Igbo? What does Ewe have to do with Igbo?
I was shocked he wasn't on the top 100 this year

You can still see that little limp when he runs, but AP is a monster dude these younger NFL players can barley stop him.
Should’ve been in top 100
How the hell does he cut like that at age 33? Very very very impressive.
And btw that tackle Trent Williams is the hardest hitting O lineman in the league and every defensive player knows it
Somehow I get the feeling Jerry Jones in his office, with two pictures in either hand(One with Ezekiel and the other with AP).
Hmmm .. AP with Tony Pollard as backup
Uncle Shanon got me here bcoz da Hate
He went from great to really really and I mean really good.
AP still got the juice
i aint gone lie, peterson made some real good between the tackle runs last year...but that offensive line was doing some elite blocking

If only he had a offensive line and a good quarter back
He needs to go to the Patriots. He can catch and block too

redskins oline serious boy ..give them credit too..but give ap credit too for hitting the holes hard
