The boss that you are fighting, Goetia, is basically Solomon's 72 Demons banding together and acting like they are Solomon. The reason that Romani and Merlin have some conflict between them is because Solomon is the true Grand Caster and King of Mages. Quite a lofty title and being Grand Caster elevates your status to something higher than a Servant could ever reach. However, Solomon gave that position up, so the runner-up and 2nd in line received the title: Merlin. Since Romani is actually Solomon and Merlin basically received his hand me downs, the two butt heads occasionally.

On that note, Gilgamesh, Merlin, and Solomon all possess that skill. Solomon has the strongest version of it and is so strong that it lets him see the entirety of the past and the future. Merlin's is second on the list though his eyes can only see the present (and it's what he uses to watch the world while he is trapped in his tower in Avalon). Last on the list is Gilgamesh and this last bit is just off of my own pure memory and guesses but I think he can only see small glimpses of the future at a time, though I may be wrong.

Actually, Shirou forced an incarnation after the end of the 3rd Holy Grail War which is the reason why his hair had turn white. He didn't win like Solomon did and wished for it. Not to mention Gilgamesh was unintentionally incarnated and I'm not sure about Astolfo. In some ending we also have Artoria and Medusa surviving and incarnating and even Musashi is a wondering singularity/heroic spirit after dying in Epic of Remnant

Here's my theory of what will happen if Romani becomes a summonable servant. We cannot summon King Solomon, the powerful king who made Goetia. aka Caster Solomon. But we can summon a version of him prior to him being all clarivoyant. Meaning that we will summon a different version of him that did not make Goetia but of his earlier days. His caster variant may have been erased from the throne of heroes but not any other variant. Then against this is speculation from my part but something to think about nevertheless
No, Ars Nova completely erases all trace of him from the world and removes him from the Throne of Heroes. The only other servant to suffer this same fate was Miyamoto Musashi who also chose to reach beyond her limits and use her Noble Phantasm to erase her own existence from the world and the Throne of Heroes. All traces of her, even her Summer version was lost. Whilst a Romani lookalike has appeared, this is presumably Goetia wearing Romani's body because Romani is a reborn/reincarnated human of Solomon created by the grail.

In fact Solomon didn't disappear from existence with Ars Nova but his existence is litterally fulfilled, this meaning there's no more reason to make him appear or being summon. He can't be in the thrones of heroes anymore because there's no more meaning to.

Then the 2nd Arc occurs called the Lost Belt, Parallel Time Lines that arent really alternate/parallel timelines but alternate history that are so far off they shouldnt exist, the A Team also known as Cryptics are attempting to bring back the Age of Gods

@@KuroAkiGames I now somewhat understand the chronology of whole events, from the prologue of Fuyuki, up to Babylonia and the upcoming "Endgame Before Endgame was A Thing". Since you said that the Temple of Solomon AKA "Endgame" will be adapted as an OVA, hence it will be a movie right? I was hoping for it to be a series so as things will not be as rushed as the Fuyuki arc though...

@@nineiota892 well, 4 Demon God Pillars escape and 4 (arguably 5) Epic of Remnant Cases occur where they take a slightly different approach and this makes up arc 1.5 Shimousa and Salem are probs the best chapters to this arc.
Then the 2nd Arc occurs called the Lost Belt, Parallel Time Lines that arent really alternate/parallel timelines but alternate history that are so far off they shouldnt exist, the A Team also known as Cryptics are attempting to bring back the Age of Gods

@@nineiota892 the game and the expanded universe is still growing with countless prequels, sequels, spin off etc... but FGO itself is still going and will be celebrating its 5th year
