Up air tether up air is never true, and it's not even a DI mixup, you can just hold up on your C-stick and the up air after tether will never land due to ASDI. Use your left stick to DI the Nair at the same time.
11:27 I don’t get that point, big disjoints aren’t the thing that makes a character strong in RoA2 imo. Like it’s as if she’s the only one in the game when Clairen is one of the three disjoint characters in the game with Loxodont and Forsburn having slightly better frame data on top of having projectiles and longer reach than her with wider coverage in general Clairen’s strength imo isn’t the big disjoints in neutral, actual big disjoints would be similar to Lox’s. It’s how absurd her grab game and her tipper rewards are relative to her good range/framedata ratio contrary to the other two « swordies »
I agree with Fleet being probably the most balanced character now. She honestly doesn't need anymore touches besides maybe down B getting it's fast fall property back as it feels pretty worthless to use now. I still think other characters should've gotten buffs besides nerfing, but the knockback changes has made me immensely think this game is getting more on track and having more longevity now. Fleet has all the tools necessary to succeed now without being overblown in one area or aspect. She feels like she has to earn a lot and fits perfectly in the All Rounder role (which I could be wrong, I feel the devs truly wanted her to be in.) I'm VERY curious how they add a TRUE zoner to the game as that'd mean they'd have to maybe rework the 3 frame parry again for them to feel even close to good.
Zetterburn down B cancel flip got nerfed with the universal FF changes. he used to be able to FF on frame 15, it is now frame 35. He belongs in slightly nerfed for this reason alone. His recovery mix ups were toned down because of this change and he is a lot easier to intercept on reaction now if he uses it
I will say that zetter's recovery got nerfed pretty hard with the fastfall change to his down B, and while a lot of characters got this change it effects zetter more than everyone else due to it being his strongest mixup that is now completely removed
No one? Every comments section is full of people whinging about "Clairen being brain-dead". I agree that she's in the top 5, by the way. Just have been feeling that the aggression towards her has been a bit over the top considering she is SUPER popular, but only 3 Clairens have put in results (Including Sparg0s LMBM run)
I think Maypul being represented has to do how limited her Anti-cc game is and how her weight affects her in scrambles from not being able to deal with CC. She can be still be strong but there's a decent sum of people who thinks she's worse than a good amount of chars in the strong (and above tier) because how awkward it is to deal with CC.
@@christianokoye9491 I TO the Portland scene and have been running tournaments since 5 months before rivals 2 even came out. We have more experience with fleet up here than any other region. You know, with players like mystery sol and kyb. Mean while I'd be willing to bet you only play online. Thanks for your input though.
@ If I went to locals, I guarantee I would not change my opinion, nor would you suddenly hold my opinion in higher regard (and you shouldn't!). Even if everything you say is true about your credentials, I've been around fighting game scenes long enough to know that people might think a character is S-tier, but learning their limitations is something you often feel while playing them, especially if you're comparing it to how the feel pre-nerf. Fleet is definitely viable post compensation buffs, but I don't think it's a commonly held opinion that Fleet is S-tier, nor is there any evidence of this, other than top players who play fleet are still top players. Going to locals would not change this assessment.
Marlon had very dominant results with wrastor before his ban, and everyone’s been nerfed since (more or less) except wrastor (he’s had minimal nerfs), so there def are wrastor results, it’s just his rep is still banned until next month
The answer is obviously Elliana. They had to nerf her by hiding her on the character select screen.
this zetterburn cookin wtf

Your thumbnails are always so clean
Omg ty sm ❤️
@@laststock1fully agree love the differant look, stands out a lot in a good way.
Wrastor top tier at theory crafting and mid tier in practice. Sorry but theoreticals dont mean anything in the face of results.
Id rather eat a drywall and kerosene sandwich than try to get a high percent kill with wrastor

1:23 Infinite lava pool duration is also huge!
I think one big thing keeping orcane back at the moment is that zetterburn has so many players and that matchup is horrible

Wrastor at 1 and Clairen at uh... not top 3 is certainly a take
Tiers aren’t ordered and I mentioned how I thought she was probably the best in the tier!
I will say that zetter's recovery got nerfed pretty hard with the fastfall change to his down B, and while a lot of characters got this change it effects zetter more than everyone else due to it being his strongest mixup that is now completely removed
glad you didn’t put clairen bottom 5 cuz shes low-key broken and no one’s talking about it

I swear lox is cracked rn lowkey i might be out of pocket but im thinking putting him over fleet orcane maybe kragg
I think he’s in a really good spot, I could def see him jumping a few spots over time
I cant imagine balancing Kragg and Lox, heavies are a balance nightmare is seems. So easy to go from clunky and slow to over tuned.

Doesn't her dash attack beat out cc? I usually get hit out of cc as zetterburn at mid percentages.
Putting fleet at the very bottom is WILD. She's still an S tier. The nerfs were overblown.
You definitely don't play Fleet.

@@Jarekthegamingdragon So you don't play Fleet?
@ I've played against fleet and commentated more sets with fleets than you've played fleet I can guarantee you that. Try going to some locals.

If wrastor has no results, he cannot be top 1. Theory is nowhere near as important as results

People really don’t know shit about wrastor
commenting for the algo ❤
buff kragg
Uh oh
Kill kragg
he needs it
