wanna add to the shield dropping section, in rivals 2 shield dropping is alot easier than in melee or PM, and there are more ways to do it too. insteady of only having tilt down you can also do it by holding 2 shield buttons and tapping down, or releasing shield and cancelling the dropping shield animation into a shield drop [confusing wording lmao]

I had no idea you could hold both shield buttons to shield drop! Makes it so much more consistent
you can also do diagonally down either left or right or hold down prior to holding shield and then just let go of the shield button
