    About the Event
The second Quebec Symposium on Young Carers, hosted by AMI-Quebec, was a day-long, free, hybrid and bilingual conference to address the wellbeing of young people who are affected by or care for a loved one with a disability, chronic illness, or struggles with mental health, substance use or problems related to aging. It brought together professionals and youth from mental health, community, health, education, government, and research spheres across the province to identify priority areas and take action to support young carers. It was made possible by the Canadian Centre for Caregiving Excellence and CHSSN.
