Good on you Byron..this is such a fun channel…light hearted & really informative. I really appreciate your filming of these Commodore videos that are detailed & not wobbly like many others I use your videos to teach my niece & nephew how to do these repairs together with me. A bit of sweat equity & patience makes for a rewarding drive afterwards. Cheers again champion & a special shout out to your little lady apprentice. Well done everyone
Good to see that liquid currency is still being used. Yeah mate, next time you do anything electrical, just disconnect the battery before you start. When you do it a few times it'll be second nature. Normally when I take the airbox apart, I give the MAF sensor a bit of a clean with CRC. The boot garnish, I use the 3M double sided clear tape. It's a bit thicker but it's sticky as. I'd also replace the rego plate lights with LEDs. It'll save Grandpa replacing them down the track! Overall the Calais looks mint for the old boy & you & the kids have done a great job in putting a modern classic back on the road. You'll have to get your little princess more work on the cars. She knows more than most 17yr olds that have their licences & have cars. I know this cos I get pestered by them cos no one's taught them how to do maintenance. Another great video!
PJ is a legend was doing it for free but you always take a 🍺 to say thanks Cheers for the tips Its great being down the shed with the kids Take it easy mate 👍
@@downtheshedwithbyron Just had a melanoma cut out so I'm just chilling here. Is PJ gonna charge you shop rates or just bribe her with a maccas run? It's always good to see the kids off the iPads & learn some practical stuff.
Yes, I'm off work from 20th Dec through to 22nd Jan. Heading down south just after Christmas for two weeks. Don't really have any solid plans for the time before Christmas or the last week of my leave
