Thank you! Yes, it is possible that it could cause a discharge (along with many other possible things). Great videos, thank you! Do you know why in my Symphony 2 stereo i cannot hear any sound? Didplay turns on, volume seems to work according to display but cannot hear any sound, changed the amp in the boot and still the same. Radio has jammed cd error 3, could this be the reason?

Yes you can. It is a common and popular upgrade. Also, you can buy a Fakra aerial on eBay for around £10-15 which will also allow you to fully use sat nav, and the aerial can easily be mounted between the dash and top of the glovebox. I have the same unit in my 53-plate a3 , looking to remove and get a screen double din , I’ve was looking at getting a facia kit but have been advised if I’m still using the standard Bose speakers I may need a more expensive at £80 does that sound right?
For the fascia? Not sure TBH, it would depend on the stereo being installed. If it's a double din fascia for this model, it should only be one shape, unless there's an odd technical reason? But the hole in the centre console is the same shape for Bose/Non-Bose units. --- To help support us (for both you and others reading this) there are a few things you can do: 1) Donations both needed and welcome! When you say recoding, do you mean you need to input the four digit code again? You get three tries normally, and then it locks you out. But most units only lock you out for an hour, so leave the car running/drive it for a while and you should find you are able to input the security code again. Hey man, I have a 2008 Audi A6 Quattro S line. My screen goes off 5 seconds after showing the welcome anytime I turn it on. Can you please tell me what might be the problem? I have change the screen, mmi control module, amp, multimedia interface but it still has that problem
Tell me please sir,i have 2002 b6 convertible and my gf spilled juice on it and now it dosent work and now im thinking of buying OEM audi b6 navigation, would that be just plug and play or i would need to do some modifications to get it runing, thank you
Upgrading to RNS-D/E sat nav in the B6/B7 model is generally quite easy if you have double din already. You may need a wiring loom adapter depending on the wiring on your car (around £30). You will need a sat nav Fakra aerial (about £15) which can be mounted under the dash (above the glove box is a good location). With some Google research you should be able to find a lot of info on this upgrade as it's a very popular one :-) Best of luck. Please be sure to support us - subscribe to our UA-cam channel and help spread the word.
Hey there! The size of the stereo should not be the issue and pretty much standard single or double din sizing. The bigger issue is the facia as it's shaped to fit inside the centre console. You should be able to find used stereo's easily enough on eBay. Or if you would consider an aftermarket solution again search eBay as many Chinese manufacturers now make very decent stereo systems (usually with sat nav etc) for good money, and they are specific for the A4/S4/RS4 and so come with the shaped facia ready to install. However, on the aftermarket ones you will likely find that the radio reception is poor. This is certainly our experience. Most are unable to work properly with the built in antenna system and so come with a cigar shaped 'booster' to help combat this. But even with the booster the reception is inferior to the factory antenna system. Mine doesn't come off even though I have all 4 of them pushed all the way in. No matter how violently I shake it. I even took out the frame of the hazard/esp plastic so I can pull it with my hands and still doesn't come out. The problem that I am trying to fix is that the radio doesn't work an the lights of the system just burn red and the screen doesn't show any text and no sound.
Hey there! Ok, so assuming it's an Audi genuine head unit... It should just slide out and you should not need to pull too hard on it. Either the keys are not locking in properly and snapping into place, or otherwise someone has previously broken the mechanisms and shoved it back in anyway. Try using the two keys on one side as levers, so push the heads outwards (to the side) whilst pulling both on one side. See if it gives you a little movement. If so, they keys are not quite locking in fully and releasing the mechanism - it can happen if the keys are not great quality. Good luck! --- To help support us (for both you and others reading this) there are a few things you can do: 1) Donations both needed and welcome! @@TotalTechnik Couldn't get it out but I removed the fuse of the radio and then put it back in and now it is working again👍 this may be a useful tip for others too.
There are lots of aftermarket stereos that fit. Many of the Chinese manufacturers make an Audi A4 specific model which is the correct facia shape alreay, otherwise you can often install a double din standard stereo but you need to get the correct shaped fascia to surround it for a tidy install. Lots of options. --- To help support us (for both you and others reading this) there are a few things you can do: 1) Donations both needed and welcome! Hey there! If it worked ok before removing it then most likely will be either a plug on the rear you forgot to connect, or a plug not quite fully plugged in. Just removing and refitting it should not break it, so first stage it remove again and check all connections carefully. @@TotalTechnik Couldn't get it out but I removed the fuse of the radio and then put it back in and now it is working again👍 this may be a useful tip for others too.
What kind of stereos fit in there?
There are lots of aftermarket stereos that fit. Many of the Chinese manufacturers make an Audi A4 specific model which is the correct facia shape alreay, otherwise you can often install a double din standard stereo but you need to get the correct shaped fascia to surround it for a tidy install. Lots of options.

SVP un vidéo concernant le démontage le moteur des essuies glaces pour A4 B6 2004
Hey there! Yes, maybe in the future!
@@TotalTechnik merci pour votre réponse à la prochaine
I took mine out and put it back in, unfortunately it will not work again? Any ideas on how to fix it?
Hey there! If it worked ok before removing it then most likely will be either a plug on the rear you forgot to connect, or a plug not quite fully plugged in. Just removing and refitting it should not break it, so first stage it remove again and check all connections carefully. Best of luck!

Is it the same tool on c5's?
Yes, most Audi models of similar age have this type of fixing holding the stereo in place, including the C5 platform. Hope that's helpful!

thanks for the video, unfortunately i lost one of the keys, will it go out with just 3 keys? Please answer!!!
No you need four, unfortunately :-( It would be worth buying a new set. Get a set of two rather than four, it will be a little cheaper.
Total Technik thank you!! Will follow your advice
spot on

Hope that's helpful.

How too instaling
Stereo
Thanks.all
What is the name of that tool used to remove it?
The radio removal tool? If you just type in 'Audi Radio Removal' into eBay or Amazon you should find a good selection available and at decent prices too.
Hope that helps!
