Arizona seems very similar to Texas where I live. A lot of the scenery looks like that. And we do have Circle K here too. When you got to the area with the hills/mountains that is kind of like far West Texas. I hope you have a smooth transition back to work. My prayers are with you.
Thank you. I've never been to TX. I think I kind of figured the scenery would be similar for the most part. Are there a lot of cactus in TX? Out here it seems everyone's yard is just made of stones, I don't see much grass. I miss seeing green lawns
@@athomeinaz5421 Yes, we are starting to see more people landscaping using what they call xeriscaping which is native plants that don't require as much water. Also, we went to Mexico to a wedding years ago and during our drive through the part of Texas to get to Eagle Pass we saw a LOT of cactuses!
Nice video, love seeing the scenery! Look forward to more videos of your trip. I pray your entire trip is safe and easy. I feel like you do about the young people running over others for fun, and wonder how did people get so depraved, and cold hearted? I have also thought about the video games where these kids sit and play shooting, blowing things up, and wonder if it desensitizes them to the reality of doing it in real life. We have Sirius xm in both vehicles. Every year at renewal time, they send us a bill that is usually double what we paid the year before. So we get on the phone and say we are cancelling, and lo and behold they will give us the discounted rate again. I don’t know why they don’t just extend the discount to people already subscribing, but we have to do that “dance” with them every year. But, it’s worth it, so don’t let them jack up your rate! I like talk radio also, and would rather listen to that than music most of the time. Have a safe, and relaxing trip!
First off I love your nails, in multi colors that way. I had not heard about the running people over thing, but my guess would be it's one of those ignorant "Tik Tok challenges". I know a year or so ago there was one encouraging kids to see if they could get away with tearing the sinks off the walls of school restrooms! 😮 And kids were apparently doing that all over the country! I can't think of what others were right now, but I know there's been a bunch of them, all evil and destructive! As for why kids are so easily conned into doing these things, who knows? But I think it's more complicated than video games. I mean, my kids grew up in the '80s and '90s, and my youngest in the early 2000s, and kids played video games, then that were pretty violent. And they weren't following the games. I think it has more to do with the culture as a whole. And with famous people who think it's cool to mock the disabled, and make fun of people and make up insulting names, and they've made being mean like that socially acceptable. When kids see adults being that way, they figure it's fine. But I agree with you, it's a crazy world out there for sure. So glad you can get away, and have a place to rest and recuperate!
