I use Tanologist, Isle of Paradise, and the Loreal face bronzer. I am highly maintenance lol Noewex is also good and their is a tanning makeup called Westmore beauty. They used it on actors and actresses many years ago and the grand daughter sells it on QVC. You can add it to your foundation too
The Bondi Sands tan remover is awesome but stinks like perm, but 100% worth it. My suggestion for gradual Tanner is from Australian Gold Hemp Nation. They have a awesome like of amazing scented lotions. There are a few that have DermaDark, a gradual tanner, in it. I have 2 different scents. Wish you were able to add pics. My tanning lady carries a big verity of Hemp Nation, some have matching shower gels or scrubs.
I've been meaning to ask you what you use. Your tan is so realistic. Over the last hundred years, I tried them all. I've been loving the Tanologist Self Tan Water. I've never found a product that lasts more than 3 days. Then it fades terribly, but that's with all. I'd love to try the oil. I don't self tan my face. I just bronze away. And I only self tan in the summer months. I use the Tree Hut Coffee scrub to exfoliate. I always wait to shower. I do the same as you. Great idea about patting after swirling. I've used a bit of rubbing alcohol to get rid of mistakes. Thanks, Jen. Keep on glowing! 😍🌞😎
Hey sweetie! I am definitely a weekly self tanner. I tan year round to make me feel better about myself. I hate white skin on myself. We are twins even in our tanning products, likes, dislikes and routines. My favorite product is Loving Tan. I use the Bondi Sands tanning remover every sunday morning with an exfoliating mit in the shower. I hate waiting naked letting the product work. 🤦♀️ I try to let it do it's magic by waiting about 15 minutes because it's less scrubbing for me that way. Loving Tan is definitely the best color choice for me and scent also. I have one other favorite tanner (from Amazon) I alternate with Loving Tan. It's made for spray tanning machines but I put it in an old Loving Tan foaming bottle and it works perfectly! Its scent is almond cherry. And much much cheaper! I always use a mit to apply. I never "waste" my tanner on my chest, mid section or very top of my thighs. Noone but my husband sees those areas anyway 🤷♀️😂 I use a brush just like yours for blending my hands and feet. When I started using the mit and brush, those were game changers. I apply face tanner 2 to 3 times per week also! And I apply makeup down my neck and chest area if it's not covered by my shirt and appears white lol
Thanks so much for sharing!! I feel so validated in my choices/routine - haha! It's crazy how SIMILAR WE ARE!! Please let me know the tanner that you like from Amazon - I'd love to try it!
@@jentherealfluencer Jen it's called Norvell Double Dark Handheld Spray Tan Solution. Like I said put it full strength in an old foaming soap container. I pump 3 pumps on my Mitt for each calf (lower leg not cow leg lol), 3 pumps each thigh, 3 pumps each arm then 3 pumps neck, chest and upper back. Same as Loving Tan, once dry I apply one more coat. Lastly, I don't waste my product on my stomach or lower back! 🤷♀️😂😂😂 Please let me know if you have questions or how you like it if you try it. I think you'll like the color and scent! And mostly the price for the huge bottle you get!
Hi Jen. I have never self tanned, but you look so beautiful I’ve been trying it! I haven’t been able to find Tanologist face oil , do you know if it has been discontinued? So I have been using the tanologist face and body drops with Clinique moisture surge~- it’s looking blotchy ( I also use Obagi with Trentonin cream). Any help you can give would be appreciated. Love you!
I've just recently discovered your channel and have been sort of "binge watching" all of your videos! No I'm not a creeper lol, just really enjoy your content! Here's a tip for tanning your hands and getting it even around your knuckles- after tanning your hands with a mitt or brush try applying just regular hand cream and rubbing it in really good all over your hands and over and around your knuckles. It really works. Thanks for the "patting" over splotchy areas tip. I'm going to try it on my next tanning.
Hi Jen (totes awesome name BTW...!) - thanks so much for watching my vids! This is a great tip - and I already tried it when I first read your comment - annnndddd it worked perfect! Thanks so much for sharing this tip with me and everyone else here in the community! I appreciate you being here! 🤩
I was just browsing for the best self tanning tips & came across this channel. Once I seen the; “no filters/photoshop” caption for your channel, I had to subscribe! I love a REAL beauty channel. Thanks so much for that. It’s truly appreciated by some of us!
Have you ever used the Walmart brand tanning lotion. I've used it mostly my legs but because of blemishes on my skin they get darker than the other part of my skin that's a problem I have
I also don't shower when I wake up in the morning after tanning the night before. Most times I won't shower until later that night. Is that what you do?
I've never self hand but medium dark complexion if I go to the tanning bed least five or six times I get a decent tan that lasses for about 2 to 3 weeks it depends on what kind of lotion I'm using with the bronzer in Hit so what would be the best one for me thank you you are so helpful
I currently have bondi sands. I like it but I sweat a lot. 😭😭 So my question is does the loving tan still fade pretty evening while sweating because I work in the elements.
Hey Lisa! I don’t work in the elements so I can’t speak 💯 on that but I do wear it exclusively in the summer “as my tan” while wearing sunscreen and sweating a good amount on the weekend when working on our boat and it will still fade evenly on me. If u wear it overnight and don’t shower the next morning, you’ll get the drippage while sweating. I used to experience that when waking up and running the next morning but I don’t get that if I “shower it off” first. Hope that helps!
Hi Jen! Great video. I am a self tanner more when my bod will be in shorts and tank tops. I am fair/burn easily so I tend to go for a medium lewk. I have used most recently another mousse tanner, Best Bronze - have you used that one? I don't like that I sometimes look streaky even though I SWEAR my application was flawless. I have invested in good mitt from Amazon. I exfoliate every time I shower and moisturize. I am going to try some of your tools and give it another whirl soon.
Thank you! Glad you found it helpful :). I have never tried that one - but now know to stay away - appreciate the tip! Exfoliating and moisturizing throughout is def key!
I'm not a self-tanner but now I think I will try. I think tan looks better than white! I don't like the idea of staining my sheets, so the onesie is a great tip.
Ok, I would love for you to try St. Tropez Self Tanning Purity Bronzing face mist. It is truly incredible. I also love Bondi Sands Aero Mouse and the Liquid gold for the body. I will try the loving tan next time I need to purchase more. Thanks for all the tips! You’re the BEST!
You’re very welcome!! Omg I have tried that one and do really like it!! That’s great for me on those lazy days for a glow 🤩 haven’t tried the bhondi that u mentioned so will have to give those a shot!! Thanks for the tip 🤩🤩🤩
I put a thick coat of cerave on my feet and hands and let it sink in for 5 minutes and a little on my elbows and fingertips, then i only use a dense make up brush to apply it on my feet and hands and it tans everytime without any patches at all - with St Tropez too . You really have to heavily moisturize those areas . I use a mitt everywhere else. Thanks for all the tips. That revolution brush looks like a good one. Ill have to get one. 🌺
Wish I was more patient in tanning. I have to use something subtle, usually Jergens because otherwise I rush through the process. Recently I bought the tanning mitt from Bondi Sands and it is amazing. It is super soft and black so you don’t see any stains.
Great suggestion! Haven’t tried that mitt! I used to use Jergens awhile ago but haven’t tried recently. I’ll have to pick it up again, I certainly like the price point 😀
Love Tan-luxe the gradual😍😍😍 its a gradual tanner that i use on body and face. I also wear those doctor gloves so it doesn't get on the inside of my hands👍👍
I can’t argue with u on that upkeep! 😂 😂😂 def give the bhondi sands gradual tanning milk a try!! No smell and subtle because it just feels like lotion!
Thanks for sharing ❤
I am definitely getting a black onesie to sleep in after tanning great idea
I think you’ll love it!!
Fantastic info, thanks so much…love your channel!
