Use a mousse with a velvet mitt, it’s the easiest. Bondi Sands in light/medium is my recommendation if you’re pale and don’t want to go too dark

Ive always loved tan lines, especially from the bikini top that ties around the neck. It will peek out from a tank or shirt, to me that is actually sexy looking. But that’s just me 🤷🏼♀️

You should be careful doing something like this, sometimes mixing different tanning solutions can be toxic. I live in Australia and a while ago a celebrity here mixed two tanning solutions and ended up in hospital. I’m glad you’re okay, but for anyone else wanting to try this, I would recommend thinking again! Xx

In india people cover their body so that we don't get tan and over here people use self tanner to tan the body.... so different beauty style....

I think they make her eyes stand out less actually since the eyelook is more colorful than her eyes
Tiffy it’s not really that they stand out more to me but that the colors of the eyeshadow offset a particular color in her eyes. Her more typical looks make them seem more green and sometimes they look more like a muddied grey but with this one they looked like a super clear blue to me

I can't believe she remembers!!! I'm 30 and I forget! Or sometimes they just appear I swear! I literally banged my thigh at work like 2 weekends ago and I thought to myself "Owwww that's DEFINITELY going to bruise!" and took note of what I did and said "I probably won't remember this" ... and sure enough even though I took the time to mentally absorb what I did smack myself on... no idea.... also weirdly it must've bruised in deeper layers first cause it would hurt but I couldn't see it... until only a week ago.

the best thing for your toes and hands is to use a cosmetic small kabuki brush...loving tan has a great how to on their website...makes it apply much better than using a mitt :)

you ladies are welcome...it actually helps buff in little corners and crevices better and you wont miss anything..a more even application...then after an hour just take a makeup remover cloth and lightly wipe down your hands and feet, so the color doesnt over process on them...really works

I actually do spray tans and after 8 years of doing it I get that it can be awkward. But honestly we don’t even think twice about it. It’s a job and I forget everything but the shade the client wants and if they want to be “double dipped” or not. What happens in the spray tan room stays in the spray tan room.

❤️ a few embarrassing tan stories (for me and my friends)
1. so this was the first time i ever got a spray tan because it was as a birthday present from my mum. the place i go to is actually really cheap and is SO good. it uses a violet undertone which makes it look very natural and Brazilian. anyway, i got the tan and, like you, went back to the car and sat straight down. i had brought a towel to sit on coz i didn't want to get it on the car seats but being the stupid person i am, i brought a towel that had very large, textured lines. so i had white lines on the backs of my legs for a week.
2. this was also the first time i had a tan and i had a bad sunburn. the people there said that it would help the burn because science and natural whatever. it really did help ease the burn and got rid of it... meaning it peeled off, revealing my white ass skin in little patches on my neck and shoulders. fun!
3. this one is about my friend but it is my fault. I recommended the place i go for a tan to a friend because she was going to an event for her acting class and she was wearing a strapless dress. so we went together (not in the same room) coz i was due for another tan anyway. i have one of those nike water bottles that skirts water everywhere and i went to have a drink and then she did something stupid or hit me or something so, not thinking, i playfully squirted her with water and it just so happened to go onto her neck where you could see when she wore her dress. ha karma.
4. this one was really embarrassing coz it looked so bad. i went, again, to get a tan one day and then it started raining and i couldn't just wait undercover for the rain to stop, no, i had to run 'quickly' to my car and i ended up with little white dots all over my skin. i don't get tans anymore

I’ll share my most embarrassing sunburn story with you all and now that it’s 32 years later. I worked at a tanning salon and always wore my swimsuit bottoms but I had forgotten them at home one day so I thought I’d just wear my underwear. Well, I didn’t stop and think that my underwear was lace with a flower print on it and since my white ass hadn’t seen the sun before and the rest of me tanned 5 days a week I not only burned to be beet red but I ended up with *white flowers all over my ass and the rest was red*! When I saw it I was laughing so hard and thought it was the funniest thing I’d ever seen until the *pain* set in. Yes, imagine a beet red butt with white flowers all over it and you’ll get a pretty vivid image of what I looked like.
Lesson learned!

The best way to apply self tanner to your feet and hands is with a foundation brush! It seriously is amazing!!!

It's funny how so many people want the opposite of what they have! I guess that's just human nature.
Tans are slimming andmake a person look healthy and glowing.
It changes as culture changes. Having a tan is now a sign of leisure time and vacationing. Back in the Victorian era it was a sign of the working class working the soil, so white skin was more desirable. Now we can have it any way we want, if we're pale. Personally, I love the sheen of super black African continent skin...beautiful! Don't think I could pull it off tho...lol. I'd look like I was making fun of it instead.

Meh, some white people can really tan. I have cousins with blonde hair and blue eyes who are pale in winter and naturally tan nearly as dark as Tati's legs in the summer. Is it healthy for them? Probably not, but my appeals to sunscreen are ignored. 🤷
It's true, my father is a white Pole but he's darker than my sister's husband, who is 100% egyptian. My grandfather is even darker than that so I suppouse it's pure genetics.
