I'm a table top wargamer looking to get into 3D printing. As such I'm on the hunt for my first 3D printer. Really curious how this printer stacks up to the Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra. If you have any insight it would be much appreciated.
@@abovewongart ok that’s good to know. I want to get a resin printer, but didn’t know if one process yields a cleaner result than the other. Thank you!
@@abovewongart Uh it does matter, you are giving people bad information saying it doesnt matter. It can and does. Always remove supports before curing. You risk damaging the model and have a much higher chance breaking fiddly bits but damaging the model itself. You also spend WAY less work on cleanup doing it before.
Hello ! I'm looking for my first resin printer. Is this one great? because ther're no reviews I hesitate with this one and the Photon Mono X 6Ks , which one is the best for begin resin printing ?
@@abovewongart the best brand ya? Abs like? I want to print miniature with detail. So used what brand? Abs like sun lu will get detail? For scale 1/64 miniature..
If this is the newest from them, why doesn't it have auto-leveling? or make it a bit bigger? autofeeder is an unnecessary perk and the heater you can but for 50usd.
I have a new M7 Pro, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. I have printed ten prints so far, and not one has failed. It prints twice as fast as my Elegoo Saturn 3 Ultra which has had fifty two FAILED PRINTS using the same resin I use in my M7 Pro. Do not buy an Elegoo Saturn 4, because I bought THREE OF THOSE PIECES OF GARBAGE, and ALL THREE FAILED TO EVEN START UP. My first purchase of my M7 Pro did not work, so they sent me a new one at NO CHARGE, but Elegoo would not do ANYTHING FOR ME , So my advice is to buy ANYCUBIC Printers.
I just got the ms5 pro I didn’t know this one was releasing but the ms5 pro is super loud and noisy is this one a lot less quieter? Because I’m thinking of switching
@@abovewongart thank you I’ll stick with the one I have than I like it a lot and it’s leveling free thx for all your helpful videos I started finally designing some cool stuff from zbrush
No Auto leveling? hmm deal breaker for me I still remember my first printer Leveling took hours Now HAve Ankemake and I love it, would like to try resin printing But I guess it is not yet ready for Prime Time. Thanks for the review. Looking at Elgoo m5 auto level but does not have all the bells and whistles for 269.00 add air filter @$150.00 and prices are are closer.
How? The only features the Saturn beats this at are the lid (admittedly minor) and the better sheet release mechanism. In addition, this has a heated and an autofeeder. Printing performance is basically identical.
@@michaelvstemerman Saturn 4 Ultra has tilt feature and camera. Think thats the major differences between them. PLA like you said. 12K vs. 14K on 10" screens means pixel size is relative. The M7 Pro with heater, auto fill, and air purifier have my torn. Curios why there isn't more reviews out on the M7 Pro, seems like AnyCubic didn't send out pre-release models like Elegoo did with the Satrun 4 Ultra.
Can you show the unloading feature?
Curious how reliable the load and unload will be... And the pump for the vat heater.

Same. Its either this one or Saturn 4 U for mer
Yeah same here, I am considering this one, the Saturn 4 Ultra or the Halot Mage. This one and the mage are bigger than the ultra...
what settings did u use in that print?
Get the Elegoo Jupiter and print entire masks or helmets?
Does this have an ethernet port? or just Wifi?
Aren’t you supposed to remove the supports before curing, or is there a reason they were left on. I’ve never used a resin printer so don’t know
It doesn't matter. Half the time I remove before and after curing

SO you can only us the resin pump if you are using anycubic bottles of resin?
Good question. I think you're correct
think u can buy empty bottles or just recycle one or two and use what ever resin u want

Hey I’m thinking of getting the Photon Mono M7 Pro or the Elegoo Saturn 4 ultra. Which one would you recommend the most?
Ooooo that's a tough one. The m7 pro has less features but it's cheaper and on sale. The Saturn has the tilt lid and camera.
Because of you i order this pre sale.. i hope u can suggest the best resin brand for miniature that support 14k resolution printer like this
Sunlu abs like resin is amazing

@@abovewongart if resin with high precision? Its ok?
M7 Pro or Saturn ultra 4?
That's a tough one. Get both

It has autolevel
@@abovewongart all in the price range do have auto-zeroing not auto-leveling - check fauxhammer
The heated vat is really great. Now I just need to find a good comparison vs the GKTwo :)
revo its better
@@patomaster95 it better is at double the price ;)
@christiangruening352 and m7pro heats the vat (new feature) compared to gktwo, revo and elegoo with blowheater..
@@patomaster95revo is better built quality , but not overall better
Algorithm may not bring me back, but this sub with alerts on will.
can you tell me how high ist the m7 pro without the top hatch? thank you!
Go to the AnyCubic website for dimension. Link to specs in the description

@abovewongart I heard m7pro is less noisy in general.. I think they used low quality fans on m5/m5s/m5spro.

It has auto leveling. Found out in the printing video
Check out my m5 ultra review. It's a sick printer for sure.
Prices of 3D printers are heading towards 14K😢
This is not a review, its an ad.
Perhaps. I don't know. Thank you
They got smoked by the new Saturn. Thats unfortunate.

@michaelvstemerman it has a 14k screen and not a 12k(like elegoo). but idk whats better.. this heated vat solution or heat blower...
