yeah we struggle a lot and tell our teachers about this but we can't stop our sports. why? first of all this is our passion, this is what uhm somehow takes our stress off. second it is a way to a better life than knowing what algebra is, yes it is helpful(for some people). I have a question. teachers can not teach all subjects, so how or why do we need to learn all subjects? it could be like this in 1 week we could have math on monday, language on tuesday, history on wednesday so on and so fort... We just want to balance things without getting fully stressed.

i wakeup at 5:45 , get ready then at 6:20 i leave house for my classes , classes start from 7 and goes till 11:00 . i reach home i have 4 hours before my sports class. 1 hour gets wasted on eating, changing my clothes, a 15 min rest and various other activites . then at 4 i get ready and go to my sports class which is of 3- 4 hours . then i reach home around 8:30 . i start studying again at 9 and continue till 12 after which i get really exhausted .i only get 6 hours of sleep . still i find myself behind from all my friends who are class toppers . i have been having constant headaches from the past 3 days . i am stressed yet i still have to continue like this
This is my schedule as a freshman in highschool who plays volleyball and track (different seasons though) 6am - 8am: study/homework 8am-4pm: school 4pm- 6:30pm: volleyball or track depending on season 6:30-7:30: drive home, dinner 7:30- 9:30: homework/study 9:30-10:30: make sure all my stuff is in backpack, shower, get ready for bed, eat a snack 10:30-11ish: read for ELA class then i go to bed, good nights it takes like 20 min bad nights up to an hour.
I'm a University student, I'd say high school was easy compared 😅 I have lectures and after I have at least 30 pages to read, 10-30 questions to answer per day, and often lab reports and presentations to write. I work 18 hours in the weekend to pay for food and an apartment. And the evenings goes to swimming and volleyball practice. I sometimes have to drop workouts to catch up with the school work. It's brutal. I've had an average of 11 hour schoolday including lectures, but the worst experience was writing for 27 hours (no breaks) and handing in my thesis 20 minutes before the deadline. Homework in high school prepares you for further education :)
I think physical education I.e excercise, sports, health and being outdoors needs to be implemented way more into school curriculums . Everybody loves recess! Human beings love to play, run, climb, jump etc, it's our natural way of being and shouldn't be taken away from us . Moving around, being active, playing sports, strengthens and excercises both body and mind. It keeps us happy, energised, vibrant and healthy ! Every child should be brought up active and athletic as much as they can so they are strong, fit, healthy and sharp - ready for the real world 🌎💪🏽
6:00 am Wake up 7:45 am go to school 2:00 pm come back from school 3:00 pm go to the gym 4:30 pm come back from the gym 6:10 pm go to training 8:45 pm come back from training 9:00 pm shower 9:30 pm do homework and study 11:00 pm go to bed And the problem is that I can't study that much at night because I'm exhausted but I still try and I always fail my tests . So I just can't anymore I don't know what to do.
I was with bro until he said NINE AND HALF HOURS OF SLEEP!?! I came here from not having enough time in the day with under six hours sleep. Real life is gonna hit this dude HARD. Since this is 8 years old it probably already has.
Bro, you chose to play football so stop complaining. Make time. 6:45-7:00 get ready 7:00-2:00 school 2:00-2:30 chill 2:30-4:30 football 4:30-5:00 chill 5:00-7:00 Hw 7:00-7:30 dinner 7:30-8:30 Football practice 8:30-10:30 Hw This way you get more than 8 hrs of sleep which is plenty for a high schooler Get all your football done in more reasonable time. AND YOU GET 1 HOUR TO CHILL. Pretty good if you ask me bro. Just split up what you do and you can be much more efficient.
@@michaelorrett1737 I have basically this schedule with less sleep lol. I play basketball. I have friends on the weekend but it's a sacrifice I am willing to make. Regular students wouldn't get it
@@kni9ne600 Is this just the way you want to live or is there a reason behind it? I can't imagine living like this as it seems extremely stressful to manage...
I disagree. As a former student athlete, i had plenty of time. In college i decided i would work from 7am to 10pm monday through thursday and friday and sunday night were optional and saturday was game day or my day. What it comes down to is distractions. 4 hours of homework every night is the exception and shouldn't be the norm. Turn on the focus button and shut down facebook, youtube, and your phone, and lock yourself in a quiet room. Open your assignment and go to town. Don't wait until the last minute to do everything. Do the easy stuff first and do the thing that will take the longest last so you can keep your focus on that and not all the other little things you still have to do.
i am gonna say that... we have different time, we have 8 hours of school. starts at 7 am. homeworks? yeah we do it without distractions, but why does it take long time? lets say, 1 subject have 2 homeworks, then we i have to do some house chores. and this is everyday. this is just for me, we cant handle things the same
Couldn't agree more, as a student athletes it is a constant struggle for time.
