Who's tried cacao fruit before?! 🍫
Yes and I loved it!
I tried chocolate
I have! We went in a cacao tour im Costa Rica, and they picked a pod from the tree and had us try it! can’t say I really liked it, but it wasn’t bad 🤷🏼♀️😅
I have 😋 It's really common in my country
yes, living in seasia it's so easy to find! my two neighbors have one tree each in their yards
It’s so weird how fruit comes from trees trying to have sex and then you have this insane variety of shapes and textures and flavors
Fr, trees been wilding
Don’t forget the bees that help them “line it up with the hole”
technically the fruit happens when they've already successfully had sex, and the high level of variation comes from them trying to get specific animals to eat the fruit and spread the seeds further, usually with nutrient-rich herbivore feces. I'm not trying to be an "umm actually" asshole - I just think it's an interesting topic lol
@@2GoatsInATrenchCoat Do you know where I could find more about this? Like a video or something
Bro why did u have to word it like this
I’ve never tried cacao fruit!! But I have tried yellow dragon fruit, and many other weird and cool fruits!! Once I had to do a project and I had researched lychee, dragon fruit, and grew a strawberry and chia seed plants
"Are there any here that you haven't tried before?"
Me, in northern Europe when such a box costs more than my monthly rent: "Yes, all of them! 😔"
I'm in Southern Europe and I've never seen any of these being sold except for the bananas and the tomatoes, lol
In my country, it'd cost even more than the monthly salary and you'd still can't find them in markets and stores!
@@marimarianations9355 well but growing them there would be much cheaper than in the north.
Me, laughing in southeast Europe. Have only heard 3 of them. And have seen dragon fruit once, costing more than 10 dollars.
Here in 🇵🇭 we always eat that fruits! Does not cost much!!! Only one dollar per kilo.
Your skin is so clear and gorgeous!
Tomate de arbol!!!!! I miss that so much from Ecuador, the fresh juice. So good
How is the taste? And why is it called a tree tomato? I'm curious.
@@MyawMyaw01 Cuz it literally looks like a tomato inside and out except for the shape, but it's sweeter, just like a sweet tomato with a hint of sourness.
@@sevenbelledays7800 thanks. There are also tomatoes with the same shape as the tamarillo, we used to have them in our backyard.
I've tried rambutan, but, that's it. I need try these! 🤤😍😍😍
Tree tomato... We use it to make chatni ( pickle)
With King chilli... It's yummy
They look beautiful 😍
I haven't tried those fruits that are not normally sold or available in the Philippines. Well, technically yellow dragon fruit can be bought here but 1 piece costs around $12 so I obviously didn't buy it. The red and white dragonfrui are grown here so they are cheap at $2-3 per kilo. That avocado is large but the ones in our backyard are a bit larger and delicious.
i’ve actually tried rambutan before! It used to grow on my neighbors tress when i was a kid. They are sooooo sweet!!
Love you janelle! You are such an inspiration
Tree tomato, dragon fruit, rambutan and mamee apple, I’ve not tried. The cocoa grows abundantly her in Jamaica.
Cacao pulp with yogurt in a smoothie tastes wonderful!
Tomate De Arbol makes a really refreshing smoothie.
I love how she sounded like dora when she said That’s right a banana it just sounded like dora
lol same 🤣
Oh here in Sri Lanka also we call them “Rambutan”
Yh in india too
Ya in malaysia as well
@@viiiviiilol the word rambutan is from Malaysia it means hairy
@@allweneedislove965 ik- I AM from malaysia-
in Indonesia as well
The only one i have tried is Rambutan(and regular avocados). I live in Sweden and we dont have acces to any tropical fruits naturally so have to import basiclly everything
My abuelo would blend frozen mamey with sugar and milk and it's delicious.
Mamey milkshakes are sooooo good. Very popular in Miami
We have a tree tomato plant at home.. It taste so good n sour.. We eat it as a chutney with rice
i think the only one i haven't read before is prickly pear/yellow cactus fruit (the red dragon fruits are PLENTY in where i live) and the mamey fruit
That looks so delicious!
Jeanelle have you tried ube pancakes/waffles with condensed milk it’s so good 😋
I miss home, live in Northern Europe now, the fruit section makes me cry, and oh if there is anything else besides the usual banana, apples and oranges, you can be so damn sure its more expensive than gold
We call the first fruit 'Markisa' here in Malaysia
Chikoo we call same in India too
But we have small sized same fruit
Lots of love from India,🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
So much good fruit 😋 😍.
Tomate de árbol de Ecuador! Yeahhh
Highly recommend watching emmymade’s video on the cacao fruit!
Out of them i have only tried the dragon fruit (pytahaya and i liked it so much i named my leopard gecko after it, the other one was named mango) and the rhambutan and a similar looking avocado and banana.
Me, a Floridian: all of them. I’ve had all of them.
Gloria Estefan & Miami Sound Machine- Conga The song you were thinking of
Rambutan my favourite 🥰
I'm in Ghana 🇬🇭 and its easy to eat cocoa my father has a farm of it so I can eat it any time ⏲ 😋
I prefer those two natural mini-watermelons under the tees.
Gloria Esteban, 🎵 Come on everybody shake-it-to-that conga🎶
Please make a video trying all these fruits...and i love your videos
Except for the tree tomato ..I eat every one of those on a daily/weekly basis ..not the seasonal ones obv ..
Mamei is really good as an ice cream flavor
In Guatemala, Rambutan are better known as 'Lichas'
I've tried passion fruit(why is it so yellow??? Is it not ripe??), bananas lol, avocado, and red dragonfruit. I actually live in a tropical country, and never realized how some of these fruits are so inaccessible to others.
Like, people have tried blackberry and Lingonberry, but never guava?? Wild.
As someone who lives in the tropics,i can relate lol
That round yellow fruit with dots I believe it's a passion fruit. It makes the best syrup I've ever taste. Becarefull to not eat the seeds
Tree tomatoes are my fav!
I love rambutans, dragonfruit and bananas.
I haven't tried any of the others. I can't get them here.
The first ones were "parcha" passion fruit
cmon shake your body baby do the conga know you can't control yourself any longer🎶
Legit i never eat like NONE OF THE FOOD in the video except the dragon fruit purple one and banana bc I'm Vietnamese
havent tried any of these before
All these are in my yard ❤️
Tree tomato/tómate del arbor is tomatillo yeah 😂
That green fruit came straight out of one piece
The tomato tree are very common in my place 🍃
I think the tree tomato one is matoa? Then I ate them before, it is the big avocado one that I probably haven't tasted at all
your enthusiasm 😆
Will you be keeping and planting the seeds?
Do you also watch @growithjessie ? She does that and flims the progress !
Actually the circle fruit is calid passion fruit
First one is passion fruit
I haven't tried many of them 😃.
Are this from Ecuador? they look like it specially the cacao fruit which is one of our principal exportation products 😋 I love it
I got a tropical fruit box recently from a different company and also got 2 tropical avocados but it was bigger
Watch out for this one
She was so excited that she forgot that it's called cacao pod
I LOVE CHIKUUU

I used to be scared of rambutan😂😂😂😂😂
Jeanelle: “are there any here that you have not tried before”

Jeanell could you please make pupusas?
Not cacao but I tried regular dragon fruit

That’s right it’s a banana!
Please make some chocolate!
That chico is big
Carmen Miranda from Chiquita banana
Star apple po yan
The only thing i ever tried is avocado lol
I’m guessing that’s all from Guatemala
How much for the box??
I think it was passion fruit and not mangosteen.
What's the price?
It was not an avocado, but a guava instead.. I think..
The number of coments were 69 💀
That lone Banana (Saging na Sabah) ヾ(≧ ▽ ≦)ゝ
Wait you can eat the ripe cacao fruit? 😂 I thought you only get cocoas from them
