I've been waiting for this reaction for days
@@aysllancesar182 SAAAME, I knew Wyatt would absolutely love it lol. This is right up there with Another Life for me; my two favorite songs of all time now. Love this band.
I'll be definitely trying magic spoon cereal thank you bro
Wyatt. This song hit me just as hard as it hit you bro. I can't listen to it without tearing up. Definitely my absolute favorite MIW song of all time.
Definitely a song about mistakes and trying to mend wounds, but also shows how what's broken can never truly be fixed. We just have to make the make of what we have.
Wyatt this song clearly affected you in some way like the rest of us. It is such a powerful song for sure. The line “if I can’t have me then no one can” gets me every time. Thanks for the reaction!
That line has been said in I See Stars - New Demons too
Regardless, no one can do emotion better than Motionless in White. The song brings tears every time. We all can relate to this message in our own ways. We love you Chris, we love you Motionless in White, keep metal alive🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
@@hailiegaming3613 actually that lyric reads “if I can’t have YOU, then nobody else can”
@@troublewithwords right :)
This hits the same nerve firefly by breaking Benjamin hits!
Motionless has 2 moods.
"HEAVY🤘" , and "heavy... 😥"
Got me off guard too when I heard it.
Love the video and reflections/discussion.
Damn it! Every time Wyatt starts crying makes me tear up and now I’m having to lie to my wife and tell her my allergies are all of a sudden acting up 😭
🤣🤣🙏🏻🙏🏻🔥
Right! Damn if you don't lose your shit you haven't been through some shit. It just tears everything thing out of a person.
@@WyattStav - Watching this and at the point where you can see it on your face (that this song is hitting you right in the feelings)…….brother, I get it, I really do!
The night this song was released, by the end of the first chorus, the tears were flowing. It just cut me so deep! I havent had a good hard cry like that in awhile. Cried myself to sleep. Such a POWERFUL song! (And Chris said, on twitter, that there are other “heart killers” on the album!)
Thank you so much for this reaction!
@@phoenixignition31sb I had a breakup happen 3 hours before this song dropped. A few days after that and listening to this... I finally cried. 🤣
Same dude😢
Wyatts face he was going to cry half way through🥺 don't worry bro I almost did the same it really hits hard such a beautiful song💖
I was the same way. But this song literally came out the same day as when I started going through a lot with my SO if she's even still that. So it's a powerful song for me as well. Beautiful song though.
@@michael_may_fire9548 I'm sorry I hope you feel better bro!
I appreciate it for sure! Music is always my go to with things so it's awesome to have other people coming together.
@@michael_may_fire9548 I agree so much. music is my escape for this world 😃
He did cry
Damn Wyatt got really emotional when Chris was crying. Sucks it was right at the breakdown 😂
When I first watched it I sobbed. Seems a lot of us don’t like sad boy Chris
@@alexkerin5786 took me a few listens but yeah I teared up too
He is a mad fan of them bro XD
Ik I did oh my goodness
@@metalhammer9836 - as am I!
This song I feel is something that EVERYONE needed after such a traumatizing 2 years. It’s 100% beautifully done.
I fucked up a relationship, broke up with my gf in august. And man, it’s been tough.
Stupid lies, stupid games. I always ask how’d I apologize and put the tears back in her eyes.
It was traumatizing because you let it be. And listened to the Government and bought into the fear. My life changed very little.
@@misst9 i agree with your first sentence very much
The nostalgic feeling you're getting is probably the breaking benjamin vibes. When i first heard this song my mind went straight to them. A simple yet phenomenal song. Im super excited for their new album!
Brooo I was saying the same thing when I first heard the song
I totally feel the Breaking Ben vibe. Also, the opening melody is Another Life redux
That's right. I'm hearing Breaking Benjamin's 'So Cold' in some parts.
Same dude. My friend showed me this song, and I instantly made a reference to breaking Benjamin. But I ain't even upset about it. It's beautiful
SAAAAAME. I looooove it. It came on my Spotify and I was wondering if they came out with a new song and then I remembered Motionless came out with a new song called Masterpiece so when I heard that chorus I knew. I expected after their last song that came out this would've been heavier, but I am loving the emotion in this one
"Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable." -I've never heard that quote before but resonate with it sooo much! Thank you!
Chris replied to me this when I asked him about the breakdown in the song:
"Anger and sadness are often accompanying emotions, and I wanted the song to show that range of what it’s like to fixate on regrets and mistakes."
Might help you guy understanding the purpose of the song !
Love your reaction Wyatt I feel you ! You're not alone man !
Listen to Bad Life by Sigrid ft BMTH it will it you right in the feels but in the mean time makes you feel better and not alone
Keep it up my man you are loved and appreciated !
This might be the most emotional and also the best reaction ive ever watch.
To be fair , the lyrics really hits most people.
This song had such a strong Breaking Benjiman sound, but with that MIW lyrics and that breakdown. Also I'm glad I'm not the only one that felt for Chris
That's was the first thing I thought of too...song was amazing 🔥🔥🔥
Yeah very much a Breaking Benjamin sound, and that is not a bad thing at all.
Yep 💯 I could totally see breaking Benjamin making this song. It needs a Lacy Strum type voice to collab on it
Best reaction to this song I’ve seen. I love the raw emotion that he was able to show everyone. This song lives up to its title for sure!!!
I agree
I've listened to this song at least 100 times and I still either tear up or cry. This album is gonna be something else
Same here (ev….ree….time!)
Same
Update: Still crying to this song
@@spencertrainer8488 This whole album is Awesome I really love Burn at both ends II such an awesome song.
If you ask me, the song is definitely about making mistakes in a relationship and living with all of that guilt. Knowing that you hurt the person that you're with so deeply, but they stayed and now you have to see your failures every time you look at them. I'm pretty sure the picture he cried looking at was supposed to be him and the girl as well.
Could be about his mom who died 🤷🏻♂️
@@trfmusic902 oh man, i had no idea his mom passed. I was thinking it was like another life and about a relationship (but could also be about much things) and the growth that comes after a relationship ends and you see everything you want to change or fix about yourself. But you brought up a good point
@@trfmusic902 his mom isn’t dead
The picture he looked at and cried to it showed for a split second and it was an old picture done back when they made creatures of the band and all original members. So I think it means more of regrets and missing the old him that he lost or is a “prisoner” as he put it or all the regrets and pain from the past. The beautiful thing about music is it can mean many things for different people and touch them in their own way and it’s wonderful. I posted the original photo below
i loved the story lindsay shared about her painting! chris is such a cool dude and this band will always be one of my favs. love seeing how emotional it made wyatt as well!
That part where Chris teared up got me hard when I first saw it and lost it too. This is definitely the most beautiful track they have ever done. I can't wait for their album to come out in June.
"That part where Chris teared up got me hard"
Phrasing, my dude.
@@AlexDjents 💀💀😂😂
@@AlexDjents 🤣
@@AlexDjents it’s ok, chris gets me hard too
When Chris opened up the drawer full of old MIW memorabilia I legit lost it. I got flashbacks to high school when I first discovered MIW and how their songs helped me express myself through pain of heartbreak. I even sent in my lyrics to get used on Creatures! (I’m like 90% sure Chris used them)
What song?
@@bigkrause1774 It was immaculate misconception. The lyrics I sent in were “You make me sick, you’re a disease. How could you look at yourself in the mirror” The lyrics were sent in for Creatures and it wasn’t used. But when I heard that line in Immaculate. I was like whoa My lyrics are too similar to that line in the song for it to be coincidence ya know? Either that or Chris and I have identical thought processes. 😂
I knew this one was gonna hit you different. You're not alone. I literally broke down the first time I heard this song. It's what I needed to hear. We are all flawed but masterpieces in our own ways. Self love is hard and I'm still on my journey too. Keep pushing. You have so much to give.
Now , THIS is a reaction ..
love to see the raw emotion , same fucking way it hits me.. amazing ..
to see people feeling it just like u feel it
Hearing this song while dealing with the situations in my fucked up life right now, family, work, thoughts of giving up, hits on a level where it's hard to fight the tears. So powerful.
I love when modern songs that sound like early-2000's songs feel refreshing and bring up so much nostalgia. A real Masterpiece in terms of feels and musicality
Being vulnerable can feel so good. The clarity in how you can relate to a song with the lyrics, the tempo and the vibe is truly a gift. This song is indeed a masterpiece if it can reach people this deep.
Hey guys!
Listen to these MIW in this order:
Eternally yours
Another life
Masterpiece
It’s his his very own love story
Is that the actual order? I’ve seen people say Another Life was the prequel to Eternal Yours.
@@TheGhostLad1 Chris Motionless was saying that to sway fans from figuring out who he was talking about. He revealed the truth of both songs awhile back. I believe Masterpiece is the third part to those songs, while also dually meaning moving on and burning the past.
Wyatt - thank you so much for that raw & authentic reaction 🙏🏻 I feel like it’s such a rare gift to be capable of feeling the full emotion that an artist is attempting to communicate. It takes both a high degree of empathy paired with a common perspective/understanding to be moved to tears by someone’s art, to experience that surreal feeling of “wow I’m not alone in this” & “wow this captures something I’ve never been fully able to outwardly express”. If it’s not obvious, I was equally moved by this song 😂🤘🏻Thanks again man
This song gives me heavy Breaking Benjamin vibes
I wish more reactions were as genuine as this one! This was fire. crying is metal af
The song hits hard. I actually did cry when I listened to it. I think alot of people can relate in so many ways for this song
Lindsay's evil laugh when she seen you getting emotional was golden
This song has made Me cry each time I’ve listened to it since it first dropped last week. It reminds me of when I started using Vicodin, Xanax and adderall to cope with my ex gf of 6 years cheating on me with my little brother in 2018 and in 2019 I watched her walk away from me after she saw me self destruct for 2.5 years and the tears in her eyes when she walked away for good in august of 2019 is an image in my mind that Won’t leave and has left me with crippling depression. This song hurts me but in an incredibly beautiful way
head up brotha dis also brought me back to when I was an addict to xans as well back in 2020
How’d you get off them??
damn dude broke the bro code catastrophically
Take it this way, if she cheated on you with your brother then she isn't worth it. Still hurts bad though.
Hey collin I was a pill head till I picked up the H! Threw away a relationship with God, parents, kids. 10yrs on CRAP got sick of getting sick and knocking down my morals. Finally used less and less and less. Haven't touched anything for 7yrs so glad my parents in their late 60s got to see their son "not the junkie" You got this! (show me your friends and I'll show you your future) You can! I promise it's SO hard but SOOOOOO worth it!!!
2 years late but the "and in the light of my demise i see my failures in your eyes" is what made me cry because it's what im currently going through i caused my most recent relationship to end so those lyrics hit the most for me
Real and raw reaction. Much appreciated and I was right there with ya! I spend my mornings finding something new to listen to on my way to work and dissecting how the songs tie into my life, where I've been and where I'm going. Music has kept me from some dark places over the years and is my escape when I need it.
Wyatt as a newer viewer of the channel, watching this along with you guys was a treat. Watching this was like watching the same emotions I was feeling. Every time the song "got you" it got me too. Been struggling the last few months but sharing a tear with ya made me feel a little less alone in that moment.
been listening to this one on repeat, the lyrics, music, and vocals are just incredible
I get goosebumps every time I listen to it n I started to tear up when i saw you cry a but with whatever pain we dealt with we got this!!💯💪🏻also amazing video
Wyatt I can't tell you how much Motionless in white means to me they are my favorite band but to see you have the same reaction I did to this song and have it relate on a level and a vibe I have been feeling for a long time now made me feel like I'm not so alone with the way I'm feeling currently so thank you..
Dude Wyatt! My first reaction to this song was just the same as yours. I can tell you went through some shit and it's awesome to see that you can show strength and reflect your path. I love it.
I teared up myself during this video and still get emotional with this song after several listens.
Love you Wyatt!
Dude the fact I didn’t realize I was crying til you said that got me. Fan for life of you and MIW! Loved this ❤️
Music is everything and this track is literally a masterpiece. Wyatt, I can tell you weren’t ready for that and I’ll even admit, I cried (and still do) when I heard this song. It hits hard and I’m glad you felt it resonate with yourself as well.
OMG Wyatt thank you man. I have watched a ton of reactions to this song and was waiting to see if anyone lost their shit like I did and do every time I listen to this song. Your the only one I seen do this and like I said thank you cause that fact that you did let's me know how music hit you man. I am the exact same.
Hey Wyatt show them tears MAN that’s how I felt this song is a MASTERPIECE
Masterpiece is such an intimate song. It feels like you just walked in on Chris crying in his room and singing out his sorrow.
It’s so dope to see how passionate you get listening to music and reacting during these videos. I listen to many genres but metal core, rock etc will always have that special place in my heart & be my favorite because the emotion is always so raw & no other genre makes me shed tears because of how badly the lyrics touched my soul & explain the thoughts I can’t put into words on my own. Great video as always with you two.
The chorus gets me every time too! I've listened to this song and watched the video SO MANY TIMES since it came out and I ALWAYS tear up. I feel you man!
Your honest reaction was beautiful and inspiring, thank you, it genuinely helps seeing someone react that way to such emotional subjects
Wyatts reaction was exactly my reaction . This is why I love you guys so much, both of you feel what I feel during certain songs. Sometimes it's Lindsey sometimes it's Wyatt. But it's always one of you
Now THATS a reaction!
Yes! Love this channel so much. Damn you Wyatt! Getting my teary eyed.
Such a beautiful reaction to a beautiful song. Definitely lyrically incredible. Loved it from the first time I heard it. Also loved the story about your painting and standing up to be able to display it, just as art should be. Wyatt your reaction was so genuine. I felt it just as you did.
Best reaction I’ve seen so far, shows how much this song hits home for a lot of people. This emotion is amazing and the fact this music can create this type of reaction is unspeakable. Love you guys, love motionless in white. Keep it up 🖤
I respect the hell out of Wyatt not being afraid to show emotions on this channel. I’ve been struggling for years with being able to express my feelings through physical reactions, namely crying, and this reminds me that regardless of being able to do so I still feel the same
This is why metal is the best genre of music. So much emotion, very heavy meanings, lyrics, etc.
You are a FABULOUS human being! For you to put yourself in another person shoes and feel their pain so easily is so beautiful to see. This is by far the best reaction video i've seen! Its times like this my faith in human kind is renewed, thank you!
Dude, love both your reactions! The breakdown prevented your breakdown lol 🤣 love the feels are reals reactions you've done cuz I can definitely relate!!
Music has become so much in my life! It helps me to come back to earth when I feel like the world around me is taking me on a crazy Rollercoaster. I especially love it when a song makes me cry because it really showcases that emotional power that music has. It's honestly so beautiful that it can connect to people on so many levels too! Ones song specifically that affected me as much as Masterpiece did for you Wyatt was "The Price of Dreaming" by Hollow Front! That song broke me the first time I heard it and still makes me tear up months later hearing it again.
I felt this song so much and cried so hard when I first listen to it, I still tear up. I noticed Wyatt upset and went back to see the shift in his face and it's when Chris was crying. I think that's when it all hits us just how heavy the meaning behind this song is. I love it so much
this song definitely is relatable that is the beauty tho of this kind of music just really helps people get through there own personal problems in life which makes music so much more worth listening to and gives it more value like this song really hit me hard especially through the kind of stuff im going through matched equally
Man I’m with ya on this one ! It’s gets me every time !! Such a heavy message with such a vague box so you can really fit your own story into the mold . It’s so beautiful!
Same vibes!
Music for me is a relief, an escape, a moment of peace that helps me move on, and when I listen to something that I identify with or tells a part of my life, it stays there, stuck in my thoughts and feelings.
i love how real, genuine, and transparent you guys' are here. Great thorough reaction/review.
I SAID I wasn't going to cry, and then we both started crying and now I feel a lot better. Thanks you two! Needed this.
This song also touched that spot in me as well! So many are going through similar or parallel events, feelings and phases in their lives. This is one of those songs that perfectly describes what some are feeling inside and can't explain to others. Music is powerful and definitely my therapy! 🤟❤
Speaking of Architects... They dropped a new single. 👀
Lindsay, the first verse probably reminds you of the lines from their song Hourglass:
"And I fear myself as I fall away
In a cold deluded sense of fate" because they are very similar melody.
Wyatt, my man, I love seeing reactors get emotional during these music reactions. Hearing it for the first time makes it such a raw reaction from you guys and music is the universal language for everybody. Love your videos guys. Take care
Awesome man!! I freaking love this reaction!!!! Watching Wyatt get so feel the song is great!! This is why I love motionless in white!! I got to say motionless in white and Memphis May Fire are my two favorite bands!! Just exciting !!!
100%!!!!!!!!! I understand that numbness and music done by super talented artiest not only helps you not feel alone but feel all the same. This song made me cry as well
Sooo beautiful, gave me tears and goosebumbs.🔥love your reaction💕
I plan on getting lyrics from this in my first tattoo. This has become one of my top 3 songs by them tbh.
It seems like this song is about Chris and his songwriting. His canvases are the songs about his memories of pain.
I just want to say that this band has made me cry on so many occasions. I can't put into word how much I love these guys.
I have been waiting for this reaction since this song came out!! I’m right there with you Wyatt!! Right in the feels
FINALLY! Good on you man, brings tears for sure.
Gilrs: boys are so emotionless they didnt even cry during titanic!
Boys:
This album is just so good, and the lyrics on some of these songs, Chris is a straight up genius and poet, I have never heard lyrics like that before, that's why I love it so much.
Finally! Can't wait to see your reaction to this song!
This song gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. When it first came out I listened to it all day and cried multiple times.
This Song Is So Phenomenal!! Im So Excited For This Reaction!!
I like the precoversation of the reaction! Not just the fact that you guys talked before but the subject matter as well! I had never seen that picture of Chris before and at first I was hooked but the explanation of showing that that word can't hurt you and shit, that's powerful! Thank you for that!
I could listen to you guys talk for hours! do y'll have a podcast?
Yup I like to have a beer once in a blue moon but yeah that doesn’t make you a drinker it’s just something to drink to relax once in awhile
I cry every time I listen, it just hits in all the right places. Such a great song and very powerful 😩
Thank you for your genuine reaction Wyatt. It's nice knowing I'm not the only one that gets effected by music like that. Sometimes they just hit home.
Bro i legit started crying at the same exact time you did. This song hits home for me man MIW will always be that one band full of emotions🖤🖤
We're the same age Wyatt! It would make sense that this song straight fucks me up somedays. I'm dealing with sobriety myself but that's awesome I've got someone else that can relate. Thank you for so your honest and heartfelt reactions. I appreciate it and I appreciate y'all more than y'all know
Wyatt I absolutely connected with the way you reacted to the song bro, I absolutely love how you ponder on the words, I’m a fan.
I've been waiting for yall to react to this song ever since the song came out.
I love how pure is your reaction Wyatt, mine was quite similar...this song aroused so much emotion in me so I needed to do something and ventilate them...so I drew Chris, like I see him...I feel so sad because I saw him sad and the lyrics...gosh, I wish I could do something to help him
Thanks for sharing this :) your reactions are great :)
My favorite reaction to this song, because this song for many reasons always makes me some kinda emotional lol. To see someone else get that emotional is a comforting feeling
Wyatt, I had the exact same reaction the first time I heard the song and every time since. Great job as always
I started tearing up too when Wyatt did, I must have listened to this song hundreds of times already and this was the first time it happened 😂
In the greatest way possible it reminds me of Breaking Benjamin but uniquely MiW (I have a BB tattoo on my back). I adore it! Loved the realness, man! We love you!
I've watched so many reactions to this song and ironically this was the first one that didn't mention BB! Ha Love Breaking Benjamin as well, so this song hit different
This song captivated me the minute I heard it just like it did to you, Wyatt. It may not be how I feel all of the time, but having someone put how I feel when I’m alone, and honest with myself, into words was crazy. That’s why I love the alternative community so much, I feel like I don’t always get that in music from other spaces even though I do enjoy that music.
This song made me cry too the lyrics are so deep and powerful. They really resonated with me.
It's okay Wyatt. This song really got me too. So relatable. You guys should TOTALLY do a full album reaction.
It’s crazy to me how often it happens. I feel like new music that I discover aligns so perfectly with things that are going on in my life at the time and this song was an example of that for Wyatt.
Wyatt, it's okay brother! Thank you for allowing us to see your emotions while listening to this. Just like you, music touches us in the places we didn't know we were hurting. I can't even begin to count the times when, the music would unlock a demon I didn't know existed inside...releasing the pain, and cleansing my soul, helping me understand myself while working through the darkness I was feeling at the time. Much love brother, may the peace you're seeking find you!👍👍
Love how you two break down these songs and lyrics. Thanks for the reaction.
On a side note I use to be a bad coffee drinker and all together had a problem with drinking but I eventually was able to give it up. You can do it brother 💪🏼
That was a picture perfect reaction, except I cried more than you did, Wyatt. Music means the absolute world to me and it really hit home through my own well-being
been waiting on this one lol loved the reaction
The way the it makes you feel when they cut the music out completely, then bring it back in a boom
Is always an emotional moment for me on any song
And it got Wyatt as well here
