I have just commenced researching this lens, with the distinct possibility of purchasing one.
It would have been more beneficial if you had shown the subjects at 70mm and then at 350mm. That would have better shown its capabilities.

@@The_Arby Not sure Russ, it stopped in the early hours of the morning I think and I do not know why. Everything was still turned on when I looked, but the streaming program had stopped. What do you think I should do? It wasn't very popular! LOL
Hi Russell, some really good shots there. Has it not got a manual focus ring you could use for the long shots. My telephoto lenses do and it makes it very quick to get a focus lock when there is not much in the picture which makes the auto focus "hunt". Also are the deer at 6:06 Red Deer, very dark colouring?
Hi Peter, thank you! Never tried the manual focus, will have a go when I get a replacement triopd. Am returning the one I bought for the video footage. The deer at 6:06 are black fallow deer, we see these all the time and often in large groups. The small buck at 2:49 is a Roe deer and we have never seen one here before. :-)
