The shaman in the first group is a friend of mine, he said it was 5AM he was basically sleeping on his keyboard and he was spam buffing everyone and he said he was spamming the buff on the mage waiting for him to get in range no to purposely kill him.
because you can never know if he lies or not the only right thing to do is judge him by his actions and ban him, its simply encouraging the same behaviour if you dont, its not like he would get anything remotely close to an equivalent punishment to fit the crime, which would be killing his character. Xaryu showed his true colors here, he likes this repulsive behaviour. Or at the very least one can never know and must asume the worst.
The most insane part about the guzu clip, is that with those grenades, you can power throu a level within 15 minuttes, by just chilling and swapping layers once the grenade is off CD. He gained a whole bar of exp from the clip alone, and allmost didnt loose Any hp, so he can send 45 Seconds killing individual Npc's, sit to drink up while waiting for layer swap and go again, and again, without Any other help than swapping layer.
Pro tip: if you're ever jumping into water in WoW, point your camera down towards the water. You will ALWAYS dive when doing this, regardless of water walking effects on you. If the mage at the start of the video knew that he'd have lived.
I really appreciate how Xaryu never really has anything negative to say. Xar can share an opinion without putting the other side down, and that is so much more powerful than being aggressive and causing waves. Now that I am in my 30s I dont have the mental power to constantly balance all the negative attitudes and argumentative style of thinking certain other WoW content creators have. I am very glad I found this stuff to watch while I game now.
if i ever did go back itd prob be with the addon on a normal server or just remember the rules and do it on my own. Going on an official HC server seems like your putting way too much trust in blizzard's servers/code.
Frozen debuff by a GM can’t be removed by regular players abilities. It has to be removed via a GM using a command. I have experience with this via private servers and by running a local client for myself on private vanilla wow client + database. You can see right when the debuff disappears, the mage uses ice block, and that mage was spamming ice block hoping it would work. Love what you do and the content you make ❤️ Keep it up 🙏👍
Had a similar moment back in wrath with water walking though not as scary as hardcore. Dinky guild doing Naxx and the gm got super bent when his dk tank died during wrap on Maex. Went ballistic over vent. I said relax on the healer hate and he then made it personal with me. See I mained as a healadin and for the second healer, they had a ret respec. Bad group build not having hots or pain sup. I taught the ret to sac and bubble and told the dk he was gonna have to use a defensive for the third wrap. Anyway. I jump to an ulduar guild and some friends asked me to help heal a heroic an. After the second boss, the dk ran for the hole to jump first and then used his water walk to kill the party but I saw it coming and bubbled. While they were running back, the tank pulled the few mobs and then the last boss. I kept healing and had infinite mana with my crit build. After ten minutes, they were all begging me to stop healing and wipe it. Thereafter the old GM was praising my heals and asking for ulduar invites.
10:25 The best part of dying on HC (If you've properly set up your bank alt) is being able to Prestige. When you go again, you Prestige ur next toon by flooding it with consumes, enchants, and every item in the book that will give you an edge, it's incredibly fun
You're right, but what others do has an effect on your own perception of the game, imagine wotlk thorns was available in hardcore, and ppl would get 1h thorns that makes mobs take 300dmg when they auto the buffed player? Cedw once ninja an item from me with his character cindylou. It was a neck item that reduces silence by 20%. I’ve been running that dungeon for long time and once he knew I wanted it he just kicked me off the raid cause he didn’t want anyone needing it too..

If you hold M2 you can "dive" into water, you won't ever die to water walking. I used to troll people a lot back in the days as a Death Knight, my favorite was the water area right before Anub'Arak in TOTGC or whatever it's called.

He didn't block the freeze, the GM removed the freeze as he was spamming ice block since the mage was full hp. The GM didn't want to kill him, he just wanted to show him how it felt like when another person is trying to get you killed.
5:50 cdewtwo also wanted to die here, going to backstab a mob - if he gets meteored also onetap. he was lucky the meteor dropped on the rest of the raid but that's a solid ~6% chance to die right there. (not as bad as cdankgg who was the only valid target in range... but still.)
Shaman killing the mage wasn't a grief just really bad timing. Everyone else was in the water already the shaman assumed the mage was too. Watch the shaman leading up to the mage dying, literally casting WW on party members every GCD, just like everyone does when buffing. Mage happened to be falling and in range when the shaman got to him on the party frames. Not a grief!
yeah there is a reason as a person who plays tons of hardcore ARPG's like poe and d2r, i will never play wow hardcore, too many uncontrollable factors your basically playing a slot machine that you can often control the first 2 slots and what they roll but the last one is sometimes random, and your eventually gonna lose

No... if you watch the clip he is buffing the entire party going down the party frames. It was just really bad luck/timing. Everyone else was in the water shaman thought the mage was too and was buffing everyone. It just so happened that the mage was falling and in range when he got to the mage to buff.
In the past 15 years in WoW i met much GM´s ingame, okay, "much". Around 7 Times. Most of them are real funny and very serious, a fact is that most of them WoW Players too not only GM´s so they feel the pain. On Hardcore there is no other way in my opinion to just kill or "kill" the griefer to give him a hard warnsignal. Maybe he just root them if he was not a mage pala or some else with imunity.

I feel like it’s a unspoken rule that in a duel if a mob comes in or attacks someone you stop fighting and kill the mob because it can get someone killed and even if you win and they don’t die the mob did damage to them and helped you get the win which you may or may not have deserved in the duel. Idk this makes me feel like in hardcore you can’t trust a single person because all of the unspoken rules just go right out the window.

Shaman prob never played trials of the crusader and never got trolled by the DKs when they path of frost us after Twin Val'kyr fight. Floor collapse and water below to save us. Well the DKs thought it was funny. They just unclicked their buff so they fall safe.
The GMs in wow have always been terrible for me. I remember having a huge HvA war in Hyjal back in Cata. I legitimately was frozen by a GM for about 30 minutes forced to watch the fight, and then apparently i had a 20% nerf to all of my stats for about a month before i realized it. I was dueling outside Org one day and realized a rogue with far less gear than me was far above me in health and damage during our duels. I thought he was just cracked maybe, but he pointed out i had no debuffs and he had loads more agi and health etc. I contacted Blizz and the GM i spoke with said i must've upset a GM somehow for them to do that because theyd never heard of it happening before. He assumed that one of the enemy Alliance we were killing in Hyjal was a GMs personal account.
How the hell is texting with a gm !? Private server, or one of his friend, or both ? And weird thing to see a gm taking care of someone who didnt do much, but lot of actual griefers lived...

There needs to be bans for griefing. A warning like this won't do. I've had a hunter grief me which killed me, the hunter talking in chat saying it was intentional and laughing. I reported him and the GM responded, "I can assure you if someone keeps breaking the rules like they are doing, it does catch up with them, it just takes time. This type of stuff builds as to give leeway for learning and change of behavior. Definitely don't engage with the same type of behavior with them, as that gets your account in trouble also. I know it's difficult to try to walk away, but you don't want to break the rules and also get yourself in trouble. =/ I'm going to look into this for you to the best of my ability. Just make sure you're not breaking rules in the game, and that you're reporting things that are against the rules so we can take a look. " I didn't even chat with the guy beyond asking if he was doing the same quest and saying how many mobs I need, but I get warned here and a bit further into the ticket to not break the rules myself. This was about 2 weeks ago and the hunter hasn't been banned at all, not even for a 24 hour window. Nobody is going to "learn" to change their toxic behavior, especially without consequences. Pathetic.

The problem with griefing is that it is technically "emergent behavior" and a key part of an immersive RP gaming experience. Although, that said, I don't play online pvp servers for the same reason I don't interact with society. Too many griefers.

There are some myths. Each 100 years, one GM will actually do something.
Players playing properly dying due to bad teammates or bad luck.
Bad players living due to RNG resists.

There needs to be bans for griefing. A warning like this won't do. I've had a hunter grief me which killed me, the hunter talking in chat saying it was intentional and laughing.
I reported him and the GM responded,
"I can assure you if someone keeps breaking the rules like they are doing, it does catch up with them, it just takes time. This type of stuff builds as to give leeway for learning and change of behavior. Definitely don't engage with the same type of behavior with them, as that gets your account in trouble also. I know it's difficult to try to walk away, but you don't want to break the rules and also get yourself in trouble. =/
I'm going to look into this for you to the best of my ability. Just make sure you're not breaking rules in the game, and that you're reporting things that are against the rules so we can take a look. "
I didn't even chat with the guy beyond asking if he was doing the same quest and saying how many mobs I need, but I get warned here and a bit further into the ticket to not break the rules myself.
This was about 2 weeks ago and the hunter hasn't been banned at all, not even for a 24 hour window. Nobody is going to "learn" to change their toxic behavior, especially without consequences. Pathetic.

The problem with griefing is that it is technically "emergent behavior" and a key part of an immersive RP gaming experience. Although, that said, I don't play online pvp servers for the same reason I don't interact with society. Too many griefers.
Wouldn't the same thing happen on a pve server
