So while I think it's a good idea for Blizzard to implement further ways to combat the griefing on official servers, the general rule of losing your character when you die will weed out 99% of it as seen by how terrible these guys actually are at the game.
This has been true for as long as wow has existed: nobody that is able to compete with max level characters in a fair PvP goes to a low lvl zone to kill/grief low lvl characters. There has been a time when I used to entertain myself by going after these griefers and every single one of them was absolute trash. Usually ran like rats when they noticed Im same lvl as them and when they didnt, they suffered a quick and embarassing death, often despite having a numerical advantage vs me (easiest 1vXs of my life tbh).
I personally think the appeal rules are needed, because wow wasn't designed for hardcore in mind so some additional things were needed to put in place by addon developer to get griefing deaths and DCs for example appealable.
Who is really surprised that the griefers avoid PvP-servers mainly because on PvP-servers people can fight back, and they can't even win a duel as level 19 vs lvl 11s in an open-world combat environment.
haha yerp, that's the same way with all these people who are as pathetic as that discord server they go online to pick on people who are unable to fight back :/ sad sad people man

well deserved bans for sure. i mean isn't the whole point of the hardcore challenge that you test yourself ''can i do this?'' griefing is something thats out of your control, its obviously not how the game is intended to be played like.
Honestly, the "percentage of men who want to watch the world burn" are part of the ecosystem and they generate content and interest. Them getting banned is also part of this holistic system that mirrors life.
its funny how savix told mitch to stop giving reactions and because hes giving them exactly what they want, and then makes this video lolol, bro hes doing the exact same fucking thing, i guarantee you theyre LOVING this shit bro, there is no winning, you can either lose or dont play with the trolls, those are your options.
I would not grief myself, but hardcore spirit is that you know at some point you are going down. Its about the achievement of how far you get. Anything in the game goes. Even if it is unfair or unfortunate. As that is the achievement.
lets be honest only ppl getting banned will be those who grief streamers. The overwhelming majority (non streamers) will get absolutely nothing done about it and you will just have to suck it up. This is the main reason i won't even attempt playing a hardcore mode.
TRUE, Xaryu literally has 0 understanding that blizzard is literally saving their cash cows and NOT CARING about the playerbase, because wait where can THE PLAYERBASE report them? OH WAIT A MINUTE WE CANT!
That Discord talk was some disturbing stuff. These are demented people. I feel like stuff like that greatly increases your chances of being a mass murderer or something.
Hardcore Classic players would faint when they found out Hardcore OSRS doesn't have any appeal, and sometimes servers lag/you dc (alot more often then WoW), and being a max level in OSRS is like 5k+ hours of straight grinding, plus all the quests/boss farming/achievment diaries you're looking at losing like 8k hours of progress for a maxed account with endgame gear
Ya Payo is quite literally doing exact same sh*t at low lvl players, but nope they won't ban him at all for doing exact samething, I hate streamers, there f*cking cancer most of the time and now blizzard has given them FULL power to ban whoever the f*ck they don't like. AND THEY SAY THAT A W LOLLLL when 99.99% of the playerbase will still suffer from griefing. F*cking blizzard only cares about their cash cows.
To be fair to Savix, he did justify why he was "going so hard" by exposing them in their discord. Probably a wise move skipping that part though Nice video mate
You neglected to list the BEST way to stop griefers on an official Hard Core Realm, which is exactly what they WILL be doing. Making death perma. How long do you think a griefer is going to last when the HC community fight back and kill the griefers? From what we've seen most of them don't have any real skills compared to hard core hard core players. But yeah, anything Blizz can do to cut down on griefing of a movement that is revitalising Classic WoW is good in my book! And the biggest one, turning off PvP flagging is top of that list. Can't wait!
I really love how you tried to show some compassion for the low-life griefers. You're a positive influence. But at the same time, some people are just evil and it is what it is. The convo they have in disc is just completely repulsive.
Got griefed at 30 by an alli an horde working together to in hillsbrad pulling a npc that tags pvp on people while I was killing killing turtles, waited 5 days for an appeal but it just was ridiculous to wait 5 days hoping I get approved so I haven't returned. Hope you all enjoy GL 🙏.
I love this. WPvP is my favorite part of the game and while I do gank a lot, I wouldn’t consider myself a greifer. I don’t want to just ruins someone’s experience on the game, that’s such a loser thing to do.
Some saying savix went too far? Hell nah. He didnt go far enough. I was griefed on a lowbie yesterday and i was extremely upset. I couldnt even imagine what it would feel like to lose a char at high or max levels
bro so im a boomer, i actually cried for 2 days after watching asmon review doomin. you would think that i hate change and dont want asmon dethroned. nothing would make me happier if you exceed asmon's success
The fact that they have Kargoz's name the OG hardcore guy, is just so toxic, Like a new player will see KargozHC and think "oh hey isn't this the guy who made hardcore" followed by dying. Its just tragic.
Can they not just make it so you cannot transfer from another realm? As well as having the bans for griefing. That way you would both be risking your account plus you would need to spend all that time leveling a hardcore character to do so anyway.
Can someone tell me how to gt started on this classic HC? I googled but it seemed to take me to some private servers? Not sure if that is the one everyone is playing on or how to get to the servers most people are playing at
What is the fix around this if it happens when/if blizzard release legit hardcore servers? Yeah the person griefing gets banned, but what happens to your char after death? Would it have to have a similar appeal process like the addon? Also, say you die from disconnect or server crash? How would you be able to continue?
I hope some people at Blizzard are writing down names and listing the account information up on reported griefers, then drop a huge banhammer on them the day official hc launches. If not, they'll have to lobotomize feign death / vanish etc abilities that allow griefing to happen through breaking combat and causing a hostile mob to aggro at a new target in close proximity, and that will hurt the non-griefers more than the griefers. If they do neither, then the official hc servers will be just like my sex life. Thankfully, the griefers were too dumb and impatient, revealing themselves and their hand prior to official hc server launch, effectively giving Blizzard what they needed in order to ensure that the official servers have a fighting chance to thrive.
Unpopular opinion: Griefing in proper dosages is healthy for a game. It creates conflict and conflict creates drama, and everyone knows how drama creates views. Blizzard profits off of views.
what kind of human creates multiple characters that are only named to trigger a specific person who lost a very close relative not long ago...i srsly can´t comprahend this level of malicious intent

well deserved bans for sure. i mean isn't the whole point of the hardcore challenge that you test yourself ''can i do this?''
griefing is something thats out of your control, its obviously not how the game is intended to be played like.
Savix is Savage af! I loved it!
lmfao the clicking kills me, especially Gouge being on number 4 and he still can't even press 4, dude must have some microscopic hands.
I witnessed that guy gathering up all the kolbolt miners and deagros them and its just a horde of miners like 20 of them running threw the cave
lets be honest only ppl getting banned will be those who grief streamers.
Brutality! Some Khan genes comming up :D
Whomever thinks Savix is 'going in too hard' on the griefers hasn't played enough, needs another cup of coffee.
Super funny to see the chat, feels like about 10 people who don’t even play HC deciding that a ban appeal isn’t in the spirit of HC
Savix GIGACHAD! Petition to gm-drop em all into the maelstrom in the centre of the map
It's usually 300 lb'ers living in with their mom with no job, no friends, and no life who go griefing since they have nothing to live for but wow.
This was nice It felt like 05 calling out the BS nice job
Beat hate with love. Great commentary there ~15 minute point
Who doesn't love Savix?
Xaryu don't know about Payo poggers in a chat
Ya Payo is quite literally doing exact same sh*t at low lvl players, but nope they won't ban him at all for doing exact samething, I hate streamers, there f*cking cancer most of the time and now blizzard has given them FULL power to ban whoever the f*ck they don't like. AND THEY SAY THAT A W LOLLLL when 99.99% of the playerbase will still suffer from griefing. F*cking blizzard only cares about their cash cows.
Xar got that Damian Wayne look going on right now
Savix is a savage
Honestly, egg em on then report them all and get their main accounts banned, and those real life threats should get you banned and then charged IRL
Remember, 40 years ago these people were getting their asses kicked for saying shit like this, and it’s a damn shame it’s not that way still
To be fair to Savix, he did justify why he was "going so hard" by exposing them in their discord.
Probably a wise move skipping that part though
Nice video mate
ngl. savix looking mint with the little beard action
Xaryu. were frickn dopple ganggers bro. not to mention my mains a mage too
You neglected to list the BEST way to stop griefers on an official Hard Core Realm, which is exactly what they WILL be doing. Can't wait!
This is nothing compared to burning expansion leveling on a pvp sever back in a day , getting camped by a high level rogue when your level 15
I don’t want to just ruins someone’s experience on the game, that’s such a loser thing to do.
ganking in a pvp server is fun and reasonable as players are playing in pvp realm and not rp
"Don't give them reactions like this, that's what they want!" -proceeds to make a 20 minute video giving them exactly that. 🤣
The fact that they have Kargoz's name the OG hardcore guy, is just so toxic, Like a new player will see KargozHC and think "oh hey isn't this the guy who made hardcore" followed by dying. Its just tragic.
how do they do that? and how to spot they are up to it?
Can they not just make it so you cannot transfer from another realm? As well as having the bans for griefing. That way you would both be risking your account plus you would need to spend all that time leveling a hardcore character to do so anyway.
you need to be able to get charged for a crime for what that dude just said
your laughs to his reactions at the beginning made my day lol
Sav....this was just so satisfying. thank you.
Can someone tell me how to gt started on this classic HC? I googled but it seemed to take me to some private servers? Not sure if that is the one everyone is playing on or how to get to the servers most people are playing at
only content creators get that help... i have tried for 10 years, no answers!
Imma say it again Savix with this beard looke so regal like a feudal lord
Mechanics in a game are accepted dangers, griefing is not.
bro savix's 16:9 eye ratio.. bro looks mad high
This just bought Savix another sub! Never seen the dudes stuff before!
But it is avoidable savix proved it by making them fail over and over this is just cope for having to start over
What is the fix around this if it happens when/if blizzard release legit hardcore servers?
Yeah the person griefing gets banned, but what happens to your char after death? Would it have to have a similar appeal process like the addon? Also, say you die from disconnect or server crash? How would you be able to continue?
good point
Damn, Blizzard did something good. Make Blizzard great again!
He turned into a rooftop defender for this vid. And Xar showed his soy brain again, weaksauce.
Unpopular opinion: Griefing in proper dosages is healthy for a game. It creates conflict and conflict creates drama, and everyone knows how drama creates views. Blizzard profits off of views.
I think Savix was able to out play the Greifers.
what kind of human creates multiple characters that are only named to trigger a specific person who lost a very close relative not long ago...i srsly can´t comprahend this level of malicious intent
What the fuch is that dragon chasing him?
apex player little timmy : u talking about me ?
BABIES! I'm not a griefer but it is a game before it is a streaming platform
*Blizzard bans Savix for toxicity and harassment
