You know - I've watched Xar for a long time and it took me all this time to figure out how genuinely nice he is - It takes a lot, A LOT to feel empathy for someone like that guy in discord after the things he said (He said so much more bad stuff after xar skipped) and to genuinely say that "What we can all do is show some love to this man because clearly he is very very unhappy and sad" is really sad and shows a bunch to Xar's Character - because yes, you don't say the things that man says without having some pain, hurt, sorrow in your life and while I cannot empathize on the same level of xar here about the dude I can definitely understand that the discord guy needs some actual help.

The thing people are overlooking is that even without appeals, all these terrible griefers would be long dead before they hit 60. How many clips have we seen where they choke while trying to kite a mob and die... their character would be dead. So while I think it's a good idea for Blizzard to implement further ways to combat the griefing on official servers, the general rule of losing your character when you die will weed out 99% of it as seen by how terrible these guys actually are at the game.

This has been true for as long as wow has existed: nobody that is able to compete with max level characters in a fair PvP goes to a low lvl zone to kill/grief low lvl characters.
There has been a time when I used to entertain myself by going after these griefers and every single one of them was absolute trash. Usually ran like rats when they noticed Im same lvl as them and when they didnt, they suffered a quick and embarassing death, often despite having a numerical advantage vs me (easiest 1vXs of my life tbh).

Wait, so there's no appeals in HC for anyone but for the big streamers? Man, and they say it's just the game and doesn't represent real life.
Also it's very easy to not be a griefer and understand why this can infuriate normal players as well:
    1. The motto (the law) of this whole challenge is "DEATH=DELETE"
    2. Select few get to evade the law for "the greater good" (their streams sake), but you, a normal player or a small streamer, don't
    3. ????
    4. PROFIT!
Not to mention that 2 minutes before the "there's no way to evade these mechanics" rant we witnessed Savix evading these mechanics 4 times in a row and even having time to chat-troll the attempted griefer. But even if there were none, so there's no way to avoid other mechanics in game too that aren't griefing, but these deaths don't (and shouldn't) get appealed under the motto death=delete.
And finally, I'm not saying that death appeals for streamers should be abolished asap. It is what it is. Indeed griefers have unfair advantage of seeing location and they can target people in mass making their experience bad. But just maybe don't act like this is a form of necessity and justice. It's a convenience tool. Accept that it's a bit shitty that things work only for select people and don't for others, that it's a bit unfair, but it is what it is. Xaryu seems to be cool guy who doesn't enjoy putting other people down so no hard feelings from my side. But man.

A death is a death, absolutely and obviously. Many people delete even for an appealable death, and 100% of people playing understand that deaths from DCs and griefers are exceptions to death=delete, but they're still deaths. Exceptions are necessary until Blizzard takes action, since at this point the community has done everything else in its power to fix the other issues/limits and advance the state of play to this point (which is pretty amazing imo).
I only bring this up because you're more likely to get results from blizzard if the community as a whole feels frustrated at not being able to say honestly that death=delete, as opposed to justifying it or defending the appeals process as being necessary just because that's the way things are.

The fact that they have Kargoz's name the OG hardcore guy, is just so toxic, Like a new player will see KargozHC and think "oh hey isn't this the guy who made hardcore" followed by dying. Its just tragic.

What is the fix around this if it happens when/if blizzard release legit hardcore servers?
Yeah the person griefing gets banned, but what happens to your char after death? Would it have to have a similar appeal process like the addon? Also, say you die from disconnect or server crash? How would you be able to continue?

Ya Payo is quite literally doing exact same sh*t at low lvl players, but nope they won't ban him at all for doing exact samething, I hate streamers, there f*cking cancer most of the time and now blizzard has given them FULL power to ban whoever the f*ck they don't like. AND THEY SAY THAT A W LOLLLL when 99.99% of the playerbase will still suffer from griefing. F*cking blizzard only cares about their cash cows.

You neglected to list the BEST way to stop griefers on an official Hard Core Realm, which is exactly what they WILL be doing. Making death perma. How long do you think a griefer is going to last when the HC community fight back and kill the griefers? From what we've seen most of them don't have any real skills compared to hard core hard core players. But yeah, anything Blizz can do to cut down on griefing of a movement that is revitalising Classic WoW is good in my book! And the biggest one, turning off PvP flagging is top of that list. Can't wait!
