Yes, the Dark Trolls were turned into Night Elves through exposure to the Well of Eternity, and Elune's influence. The Harunir, to our knowledge, has no connection to that particular group of trolls, but I do personally believe that they were once Trolls themselves, and were also changed/evolved, due to exposure from that tree, and perhaps still some of Elune's influence.
I'm totally and absolutely not convinced that the voices which Magni and Orweyna and Anduin were hearing were Azeroth. I think it was Beledar in all three cases. Not Azeroth. And I think Orweyna is essentially never making free will choices.... she is being dominated and mind controlled same as naaru do to other characters with voices and visions and prophecies. And this is probably the same thing that happened to the ancient Thraegar.... they were dominated and mind controlled and mentally poked over and over again until they did what the voices wanted. The Cosmic Team Life is betraying the world soul and betraying all of us sentient mortals. It has been shown that Cosmic Team Life doesn't like sentient mortals....it never had any or designed any sentient mortals in their emerald dream or Lifelands...and they never allowed any to survive on the Uldoroth alternate timeline where Life won.
I like it how most of the war within is also about a war against old traditions. As a person who is currently in an argue with my father about respecting old traditions which I'm not so agreeing with, I can relate
