Respect man. I do play games on Ultra Hard for the first time, even now doing a run on HFW on Ultra hard, learning things. But going "naked" and with no skills... that's another torture altogether.

For someone who attempted very hard challenges in Horizon Forbidden west, this one i the craziest one i ever seen. Its insane to see someone beat the base game and dlc with the worst weapons and outfit.
I find it truly impressive that you managed to do it with only Prologue gear, but I think the items you get from the main quests should be allowed. It would make things less... torturous.

The ultra-hard pretend play-through I did was executed safely and almost exactly like yours, except it was a little better because I also pretended to have done it just with my microwave. Yours is still good though. But you obviously used a computer. Joking aside, serious mad props. Well executed plan and thanks for documenting the journey. I was genuinely curious if there was a get gud path at that level of punishment.
@chickenside 🤓 Well technically I did it with a controller… But thank you, I do feel I left a lot out in this video but overall there wasn’t anything extremely painful-other than that one random dude I cannot remember the name of I took 2 hours on.
@chrislambert9903 They’re the best. You can get a very rare outfit up to level three without having to fight anything other than a scrapper. Then all you need is a green shine weapon and you’re goated.
The short and factual answer is no. The item you need to complete the main quest "Death's Door" allowing you to break through Firegleam is not an item available in the Prologue.
And the rebreather ☝️ And the Sobek outfit ☝️ And the flying mount overrides ☝️ And the shield wing ☝️ And the flower remover ☝️ And every companion other than Varl ☝️ And the max health bonuses on leveling ☝️
Also those items are quest items which you are forced to craft want them or not to progress and not something you get as a reward or loot from enemies.
@PuluSus He was merely busting my chops for the funnies, but if you want to get technical, the firegleam igniter nor the vine-cutter enhance my combat ability, unlike Sylens’ lance in Zero Dawn.
Yeah I learned about that strategy later. It is only useful for the 2nd phase of the boss fight, which would’ve been nice, but it wasn’t too difficult.
