Well Red in universe is the strongest npc due to the fact that his team could literally be anything. To be realistic Red’s team would be lvl 100, his AI would be equal if not more smarter than the player, and he’d probably have Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, and Mewtwo on his team.

I love how the music goes exactly with the battle like when the battle looks like it's about to end when the music gets soft but then Red uses a full restore and the music gets intense again.
That was a REALLY close battle! Had Tyranitar been the faster one with the last attack, Blue could have actually won! This just confirms my opinion of Blue being the second-strongest Trainer in the world, who isn't even too behind of Red!
I now understand why Lapras's HGSS sprite has such a smug look on its face--it's because no matter what Exeggutor, Alakazam and Tyranitar do to it, it knows that Red can just use a Full Restore and heal it right back up. The thing never got what was coming to it.

How many times did Blue luck out with blizzard missing? And Red had Brine instead of Hydro Pump or surf. And clearly the player increased the PP of Giga Drain. Red cannot increase the PP of any of his moves. Also, healing is used by gym leaders, elite four, the champion, etc. So what's wrong if Red does it? The answer is absolutely nothing! 3. Stop complaining like an idiot over a game. If you hate Red, good for you. Doesn't change the fact that other people will continue to love him.

Six things I noticed: 1. Air Slash missed on a 95% accuracy. If that hadn't happened, the battle wouldn't have been as close as it was, because if it had hit then Blastoise would not have survived Venasaur's Giga Drain like it did. Arcanine thus would have been sent in earlier, while the Rain was still going, and so would have had to wait two turns before using Overheat rather than one, and if Venasaur had gotten off a second Sludge Bomb it might actually have killed Arcanine. Waaaay different outcome. 2. If the Red AI had been smart, it would have realized that NOT healing Blastoise would have actually allowed it to beat Exxegutor, because since it healed, Exxegutor was able to to heal more with Giga Drain and not be taken out in one Blizzard. Again, drastically different. 3. Unnecessary healing of Lapras at the end, because Red could have easily just used one more Brine instead of prolonging the battle by another turn. 4. Lapras's Blizzard missed twice against Exxegutor and once vs Alakazam, and if even one of those had hit, it would not have been as close in the end between Lapras and Tyranitar. 5. I do appreciate that you used the same stupid "strategy" the AI does in order to keep it fair, namely, letting your guard down and using a weaker move when the opponent is low on HP because the AI assumes you won't heal for some reason, even though you as a human know perfectly that the AI will always heal. 6. It's obvious that you edited the last battle screen to change your character's name to Blue. Overall, it really shouldn't have been that close, so the people commenting that this is proof that Blue isn't very far behind Red need to shut up and pay attention to the damn hax.
in serebii.net it tells you what your opponents have, and example is the Pokemon league, the first time you battle them they have 2 full restore, but then there's a list of what they have if you try to rebattle like the new Pokemon and how much stronger they'll be, the second time you battle them they go up to 4 full restores. I was surprised as well
Nintendo and Gamefreak should make two Gen 4 remakes next year with the possibility of choosing not only if the trainer is Boy or girl, even which trainer is and automatically you practically combine simulation with RPG in one of the best videogame franchise.

LordMak I only used one action replay-code in order to play as Blue. The code varies depending on the game and the region, so I can't give you one specific code that works, but if you are really interested, I'm sure you can find the one you are searching for with google.
Why did you not let Blue use any full restores? Red used 4 full restores and he already had the level advantage over Blue. In the game both Blue and Red would use items during a battle. Red even switched out his Pokémon when he felt he had to, you never did once. I felt that you let Red win this one, again. Sad
what if the player used red's team instead of blue's. the only reason why this battle was so close was because the player chose blues team. but if the player chose reds team, then blue wouldn't stand a chance even if he had items.

Take a seat, that answer's going to be a longer one: Haters gonna hate, that's a thing I just had to accept over the years. The Pokemon-fanbase is actually very difficult to please, if I let 2 NPCs fight, there can only be one winner, so there will always be people who are unhappy with the outcome of my videos. Still, that's completely fine by me, everyone has their own opinion and is allowed to state it, I just hate it when people start insulting me, which unfortunatelly happens from time to time. These people have no idea how much work these videos are, they just see that the person they wanted to win lost and start ranting. I ignore them for the most part (getting in an argument with them would lead nowhere and would just waste my time and energy), but it still kinda takes away the fun of making these videos if you have to read those kind of comments. Still, there's two things I always remind myself to keep me going: 1) I'm aware that most of the people who watch my videos don't comment but they're still enjoying my videos, I can tell when I take a look at the Like/Dislike-bar. It's just that the people who have a negative opinion are usually the ones writing these comments. 2) Besides those hater-comments and the requests(who are actually the majority of my comments), there's also a lot of comments who are enjoyable to read (like yours, f.e.), these also help me to stay motivated to continue these videos. Roxas Schwarz Yeah, it's Action Replay. On a real Nintendo DS it's difficult to use them because you need to have a special device to use the codes. But if you're playing on an emulator it's much easier because AR-codes are already implemented, you just need to type in the right code.

I took the strongest team Blue ever used in any of the games for this matchup. And Blue's strongest team comes from FireRed/LeafGreen when you rematch him. Since he has 3 different teams though, I decided to go with Blastoise since it seems like the most logical choice.

How did you change your character from Ethan/Lyra to Blue?
All he did was take Ethan's/Lyra's sprite and ether completely recolor it or just replaced it

Personally i prefer red but i was rooting for blue that eggxecutor (however u spell it) beat that lapras like twice but the dam full restores! Like at least give blue some so its fair. Rematch plz cus blue should have really one that one

Please tell me why the hell blue has a blastoise? I’m very sure this version of red is from yellow which is why he has all the starters and a pikachu, so correct me if I’m wrong but blue should have one of the Kanto eeveelutions.
I took the strongest team Blue ever used in any of the games for this matchup. And Blue's strongest team comes from FireRed/LeafGreen when you rematch him. Since he has 3 different teams though, I decided to go with Blastoise since it seems like the most logical choice.
