We bought one today and will pick it up tomorrow. Pretty much identical in looks except the wheels are different. It’s the black sapphire X drive model with the executive package. I’ve only seen it inside a parking garage, it actually wasn’t the car we test drove. After we got done with the test drive, one of the employees was re-parking it and I fell in love with the blacked out look. It just caught my eyes. Another family had been interested in it and were still thinking about it and wanted a day or so until they made a decision. We swooped in and snagged it. =D

Excellent and straight forward review. I swear I thought the 3rd row seating option was no longer available in the X5 models. EDIT / UPDATE: I stand corrected. I did a quick Google search and it is indeed still available for now.
Another update. I did some more digging and it appears the jury is still out on whether you can get 3 rows in the X5. Another UA-camr review said he called various BMW dealers and received differing answers. Some said they are not taking orders for 3 rows, while others are saying they are. If I stumble across his review again I’ll update with the channel name and title of review.
Love the X5. Have one now (2017 xDrive35i) and owned another before (2013 xDrive35i). I would go for the xDrive over sDrive, just me got used to AWD over the years.

I have a 21 x5 m50i and have been extremely impressed so far with the comfort and power. Love the look of the guy in the 5.0 mustang that I just beat 😂
I have done some research on German card in general and I have read many comments that after 5 years of ownership the cars start to have a lot of issues with engines, electronics, transmissions, breaks, etc please comment om the overall cost of ownership over a 5-10 year span
Good review ,but you should correct the error telling this is a V6 , it’s the inline 6 B58 engine, used widely across BMW models and the Toyota Supra too. For a reviewer getting the basics like engine wrong is a major no no. Hope you agree?
I started getting anxiety with the speeds going through Aventura which has a police department that has nothing better to do than issue speeding tickets... you almost went through that school at 85 lol.
They won’t even option Bowers if you’re not buying the x5M or the 7 series. You could get Harman Kardon but only with a m50i. They took out the fog lights. No one uses them but I want them cause the car is expensive.
Huge! Inline 6 cylinder vs. V8. V8 is definitely more responsive, quicker, drinks more gas. A bit more engaging. The 6 isn’t anything to skip over though!

Not trying to sound smart but it needs the radar sensor in the front bumper and the second camera on the windshield for it to be an adaptive cruise! My 22 is exactly this way

Great x5! But not fully loaded... no active cruise control and it is a must, I don't understand why it's not a popular options for x5.

This X5 does NOT have adaptive cruise! Because it isn’t equipped with driver assist professional. It has the standard cruise and speed limit assist.
It actually is equipped with it but due to the chip shortage, the feature (along with a host of others) is missing. :-(
