- Some big news in plugins : @UniversalAudio , In the new version 11, has FINALLY updated their DSP ( Apollo ) plugins to include VST3 . This doesn't mean much unless you use a @steinberg DAW on an M1 - M3 Mac . As of version 12 of Cubase and Nuendo (and Wavelab ) Steinberg DAWs would not run VST2 plug-ins in Apple Silicon mode. Fortunately we've been able to run them in Rosetta Mode, but of course we're not getting the benefits of the new Apple Silicon processors in the meantime. For me, UAD has been almost the only reason why I've had to run in Rosetta so.. yay!
And the other big news: because of some business reason having to do with Gobler, everyone with an "All Access" @SlateDigitalTV plugin package (for a limited time) will be able to get free access to the SSL Complete plug-in package.... which is getting pretty robust with the full offering of Fusion, channel strips and specialty processors. Great deal for Slate users! That becomes available on Nov 15, 2023 and again will only be available for a short period of time.

I have been waiting SOOOO long for VST 3 support in cubase!!!!
yesss! I really thought they weren't gonna do it at all, and just leave us waiting for the spark versions. I did sessions yesterday in both Nuendo and Wavelab using silicon. It was great!

yeeeeah lol. but I'm mastering a track right now in Wavelab in Apple Silicon mode even using some old plugs like precision maximizer. I really didn't think they were ever gonna do this. I thought they were just gonna let us rot until everything went spark.
When I used Wavelab I already totally forget UAD already 😵😵🤑
😂 - i use the precision maximizer on Side only with mix around 60% - really nice / warm expansion on the sides w/o compression
