Too bad they're really skimping out on the fretwork on these. I had to return two of these to sweetwater because they had buzzy and scratchy frets. He's lucky he didn't hit a zinger in this demo actually lol
Supposedly it gets the "Artstar Fretboard Treatment" - or at least that's what the Ibanez marketing material says. I have the Amber model and the biggest surprise to me, was how light it is. Honestly, I wasn't totally certain what to expect - so when I pulled it out from the box, I was taken slightly back by the light weight. At first, I thought it was a toy - then after a few months, I realized, this is NO Toy - lol! Plugged it into a nice amp and went wow! These Magic Touch Mini Humbucker pickups and the overall tone/output sound are amazing. Very Jazzy if that's what you are into - but can also become an absolute BEAST when distortion is engaged!
I think that has less to do with the quality from the factory and more to do with how you set it up. I have had some of the most garbage guitars on the planet but managed to get them to play like butter with a little work. For 700$ you are not gonna get a gibson custom shop neck.
Just got One and almost brought it back until I noticed the bridge was'nt sitting right. I checked the harmonics with a 12th fret note adjust bridge accordingly and it plays nice, in tune and No problem with the fretwork ect. It's Not a Rock Axe or really a blues guitar, It's a hybred Jazz Axe It's an arch top that's light weight, easy on the eyes and "back' and it sings sweet unless Yu wanna get more Stones-ish ect
Hey cobyup "Karen", you just revealed your incompetence. It's so easy to adjust the neck and bridge to eliminate buzz. Also, scratchy fret's become smooth after just a little bit of actually playing the instrument rather than crying over superficial imperfections that most people can deal with on their own. But not you "Karen cobyup"!
@@PeterDad60 you're the Karen dude. Learn to spell. Plural words don't have apostrophes. You don't know squat about fretwork either or you'd know what an unlevel fret is.

I love the fact that you are a fellow rock/metal head yet love music from where it started from respect dude
I just picked up one of these at the store on a whim and I just loved the sound. Definitely going to revisit this one.
Going to have to get one of these. Great tone at a fraction of the price of the higher end GB's.
Nice playing Dagan
Great review.
Floating humbuckers btw. Gr8 price.
Aren't you supposed to remove the plastic (shipping scratch prevention) strip under the bridge before you attempt to demo it for sound? 😉
really beautiful. There is nothing more to add on. Thank you very much. Good guitar, - an I have it. :)
Does that black tailpiece pop off to change the strings?
Play Furry walls.

Presentacion fatal....
Dagan isn't a jazz guitarist but he gave it a go. Stop with the snobbery.

This guy demos a jazz guitar playing rock with OD.
What a schmuck!
A cheap version of a great guitar. Sounds nothing like the original.
Didn’t know Ibanez made jazz guitars
are you kidding?lol
Shreyas Kumar wtf are u serious
They make some of the best jazz guitars. For sure
Play Furry walls.
When the work slips you a Jeffery stroke the furry wall.
