Baby Gorilla Zahra Update

10-month-old Zahra and her surrogate mom Toni are spending time in the indoor habitat from 9-10 a.m. and can be seen by Zoo guests during that time.💞 Toni and Zahra continue to bond and are starting to rejoin the rest of the troop. Mac and Kamina have met Zahra and the two young girls are best friends! Eventually Zahra will be introduced to the entire troop, but the Zoo’s animal care team will take cues from Zahra and Toni to determine when they're ready to transition to each important phase.
