First TT and second place? EJ is like an anime protagonist that is super powerful but doesn't know it yet so he needs to train with some awesome people to unlock his powers.
I knew you'd kill it at TT with your power numbers! Especially since you don't have to deal with the nerves of holding wheels or fighting for position in a corner.
Three things. 1) Pre-riding the course. I learned this lesson on a triathlon. I knew the area, I saw the map, I was good. Then I discovered I didn't know the area as well as I thought. On the run, there was a portion that went off-road on a trail that I didn't know about. More than a third of the total distance was on this trail, which had a bunch of climbing. Whoopsie. 2) With your power, but current lack of racing experience, I'm not at all surprised you're a TT monster. Probably too early to specialize, but for now you can take advantage of it. 3) Love the hairodynamics.
Congrats! I love the aerostatement hair....aerosuit...aerosocks....aero starwars helmet...and then the flowing locks hair untied. You should aero test it maybe uts actually acting as a faring for the helmet keeping the air attached for longer))
That's exactly how hair works. Look at a horse's design. It's neck is smooth and in the back of its neck that's where the main grows to allow the airflow to get guided with the hair much smoother.
ya if everything else fail with the nerves in the Crits I am sure your physic would do Damm good in the short TT world .. I came from 8 years of triathlon, jumped over to Pure bike racing but after 2 years I had to call it quits. Personally I felt it was more important to be able to show up for work Monday than to Race bikes.. So This year I am doing a mix of 100-200mile social birkeraces and my racing will be only TT due to safety ..

Holy moly dude you ANNIHILATED that. Congrats. Big watts big talent big boss bazooka!
What an awesome first TT ride. Well done to the mane man.
Congrats on your first "Race of Truth"! Would you do more TTs in the future?
Definitely!

Hey, great job at getting 2nd on the TT just remember that the wind is the Great Equalizer.
Great job EJ! Looked like a fun course, once again crazy numbers!!
OMG that's River Bend Park, my neck of the woods, thats crazy i know that bike trail really well. Great riding!
Bro you crushed that TT. And Damn that power numbers you got.
Not gonna lie, I look forward to these vids after seeing the rides on Strava. Next one’s gonna be a banger for sure!
So if your time of 13:22 placed you in 2nd what did the first place guy do?
Like a minute faster 😁
He was second in cat 3, 16 seconds back. There were riders in other cats with faster (and slower) times.
Saw you and Jeff are both signed up for every day of intelli!!! So stoked to watch that sprint irl.
That turn was insane!
Engo glasses with HUD really help.

Congrats! Would love to hear why you went with velo kings instead of mikes bikes.
Now you can appreciate Remco Evenapoel’s TT at the Giro . 34.7 mph average for 15 miles! On another level….
On a EPO level. His little but beating Ganna total BS. Of course Ganna could have a cold or something.

I bet you would have won with that hair tie 😀 Aero!
The hair actually gave him more watts.
Hair is more aero. Don't go against the Gods design. Zeus is going to be upset
So if you got 2nd to some TT God then that means you beat both Sean & Mark! Well done dude! Amazing job for your first TT!

Amazing, well done now go go for that yellow jacket tomorrow!
Damn!! Way to go!. What are you using to sdd the power overlay? Been using Virb but it is slow.
Welcome to the Dark Side!

Did you move your saddle forward to gain more power in the thigh or keep it as it is when you race on road?
Nice work! What’s the name of the app you used for tires pressure?
I would like to know

Loved the video, you killed that tt :-) Might want to put your hair into a pony tail, it'll reduce a bit of drag !
Thank you! Hahaha I know 🤣
Bruh that’s insane 🔥🔥🔥
10:00 defo been smoking the lettuce haha. Hay fever sucks
TT bike or aero bars in the future?
Metric units would be appreciated!
You're attitude is 1st place, and your legs in second 👌😆🤙👍

It would be interesting to do some wind tunnel testing to see if the hair makes you more aero or if it's an aero penalty 😂
Penalty for sure
