Possible tornado damages rural Miami-Dade home

A woman in the rural Redland area of southwest Miami-Dade woke up to a suspected tornado hitting her home early Wednesday morning as the outer rain bands of Hurricane Milton moved into South Florida.

Yes, I heard the huge thunders, strong winds, and checked the weather app and I saw the tornado warning at 4:41 am after Ithe storm passed. I live in the area.
This is exactly what happens all the time in the Redland; we get the advise after the storms, never before!

🙏🙏 Hoping this hurricane doesn't shift south, I see in my area people care more about decorating outside for Halloween than preparing house and picking things from outdoors patios. I think they don't watch the weather channel. God bless us all! 💙💙🙏🙏v

Homestead , we expecting winds in our area . Nothing new- tornadoes happened in these areas since the 70’s

@@DanielHollingsworth you know what you missed was the one that hit in down town Miami 16 + years ago. Or the one that blew up the church but spared the daycare center with preschoolers off Bird & 107th Ave. jumped on top of my 300zx hit the corner of the roof , jumped blew up the house a block away , jumped across the street and hit the church decimating it, but not the daycare. Lately, trees are toppling in Kendall area too. Might have been small tornadoes, they’re common but generally don’t make the news- this one came on because of Milton
