- What's under that 1/8" steel bed floor! !??
Remflex 2034 Chevy inline 6 exhaust manifold gasket. www.amazon.com...
Repairing an exhaust leak, rebuilding the carburetor and detailing the engine compartment. Then adding power steering and power brakes.
Original Missouri farm truck that will be my other daily driver. Plan is for stock appearing one piece steel wheels, doll up the interior, rocker/cab corners and top it off with a Tremec TKX 2.87 1st and 0.68 5th. That paired with the 4.56 rear end and powered by the bulletproof 250 inline 6 should make a pretty good going to town truck slash hauler. Stay tuned!

That bed looks to be in pretty good shape....coming along great!!!!
A few areas where the mounting flanges to the bed floor are rusted and some of the hold down ribs. It shouldn't take much to where she has several more years of hauling. Always appreciate the comments! Eric
Good solid floor
good job
Thank you sir! We'll get this thing back on the road.
Hopefully on the road soon!☺
I hope so also. Thank you for the comment!
You’re doing a great job, patience and perseverance will yield a great product, which is a Chevrolet workhorse of yesteryear . American Iron all the way. Thanks Again
We'll do this the right way. More of refurbish than a restoration. I want to drive and work with her. Thank you for the encouragement!
I think it'll clean up pretty good
I love them Old Chevy trucks
Lookin’ good Gary in Michigan….ps. I haven’t seen a pack of Camel cigarettes in years. You can’t smoke in Michigan anywhere but out doors or at home. And if you smoke in a truck with a business sign on it (even your own pickup), you can get a ticket for smokin’ in a workplace!
I had been living overseas for several years. Things sure have changed here in the states!
@@smalltownlivin1828 Yes they have and not always for the better. The more recent losses of freedoms would be unbelievable to our grand parents. You have a great video series going on this old Chevy pickup’s resurrection! ....Gary
@@highwatercircutrider I have to say that somethings that have been happening, I never in my life would have imagined possible. I really appreciate the compliment! I really plan to take this further and build a designated workshop. I need to convince my wife alittle. If the interest in the channel was there and she could see it I might be able to pull it off. We'll keep working on it! Eric
