  • I didn't need one, but why should that be a reason for not getting it?
Repairing an exhaust leak, rebuilding the carburetor and detailing the engine compartment. Then adding power steering and power brakes.
Original Missouri farm truck that will be my other daily driver. Plan is for stock appearing one piece steel wheels, doll up the interior, rocker/cab corners and top it off with a Tremec TKX 2.87 1st and 0.68 5th. That paired with the 4.56 rear end and powered by the bulletproof 250 inline 6 should make a pretty good going to town truck slash hauler. Stay tuned!

Just the video that I needed. I'm no mechanic at all, and have little to none knowledge of how an engine works. I have a 74 C10 that has been parked since my dad passed away... It was his... And I finally gathered the courage to go try and fix it to make it run again. This video was of great help, thank you so much. Greetins, from Argentina

Like that plan, seen some movement in the alternator which leads to me a worn bushing... be nice to do the bushings in it and possibly brushes if needed at the same time. Power steering is a great thing!

I'll check that out. I hadn't noticed. I had already planned on pulling the starter for painting the engine and thought about going through it while I had it off. I'll check that alternator out as well. Always appreciate the input!

You can also just follow your ignition rotor to the next terminal on the cap and adjust those rockers

Need a new fuel line from pump to carb. My truck is out of town so I can’t measure the length needed. Would be a big help if you can let me know how long of a fuel line I need. 3 or 4 foot? Got a 69 with the 250. Thank you
