October 2024 -- I just flew back from LHR on the Brit Air A380 -- wonderful aircraft. Premium Economy was almost like a regular plane's Bus. Class. The seats were extraordinarily comfortable, the bedding was fairly lux, but the TV screen was not very luminous or responsive. I bought some Fortnum & Mason cheese in LHR's duty-free and put their big turquoise cooler bag in one of the two giant cubby holes that were against the outer hull of the plane, which kept them chilled for the 11-hour flight. (Both both had snap-down lids). The other cubby was big enough for my backpack and my leather jacket- and I had my wheelie in the overhead compartment- more room than I could use. I took three good naps during the long trans-Atlantic flight. Just booked another r/t on the A380 - in Business Class.
Glad to hear another person understands why the upper deck is the best place to be. Those extra storage bins come in handy..the only gripe I had was the food was better from the hub coming out of London to Dubai and returning.
@@ModifydCD Likely, London to Dubai is a more competitive route. To make the A380 trip the greatest, you have to have a window seat to get those cubby holes that line the body of this jet. I know Premium Economy has them, and coach must have them, too.
Nice review! I think the new configuration on the 777-300 is much nicer. However, like AA the food and service on BA can be hit or miss. The first time I flew on BA in J was back in 1998 when they were amazing (and before they joined One World with AA) and I have not flown in coach on any flight over 4 hours since then and I use miles and cc points to make it happen, along with sacrifice in other areas. I have always thought AA was a bad influence on BA as they use to be such a superior hard & soft product. Anyway, new sub … you won me over with the pre-meal prayer! Peace, blessings, and traveling grace to you and your wife and may your audience continue to grow!
- Thank you for watching and your right its has definitely been a different experience traveling internationally on business class. Now for what its worth I have another vid coming up on the 787-10 with them in the newest of the business class suites. Thank you for the sub as well.
@@ModifydCD I look forward to your report on the 787-10. I have 2 international trips coming up and I’m planning a 3rd but haven’t booked flights yet, so hearing your perspective will be nice. BTW, please include check-in, fast track, lounge experiences, and some good J cabin shots. Safe travels!
@@HRuiz-kt5ui to be honest I have some footage of the lounge access but we were running late trying to get to the airport due to an accident and the flight was at 11:50 PM, so I didnt get any of the fast track to the gate things. However once you show them you have business class international you do have someone that walks you through up to security and TSA check point areas. So you dont have to wait through another line. I think I have some of the lounge access for BA during this trip back.
@ the yield for Club World will reduce to 4 across the entire upper deck apart from First which will be at the front cabin of the upper deck. Premium Economy and Economy will occupy the whole bottom deck which is where most of the seat capacity will be increased. I’ve not heard or seen any details of actual seating capacity yet though.

Business class is great as it is..but you got a chance to get on the whale of a plane... Love it man.
Never going back downtown when I travel intentionally
Great video😊
Thanks for watching

If you fly BA in first, they have his and hers amenity kits.
@@edwardsalmon5658 thanks for the heads up. I did not know that
The seating capacity for the BA A380 is 467 seats across 4 cabins.
Correct until they get retro fitted next year
