I reached Gc after about 600 hours: the fastest way to rank up is to always blame yourself: even if ur mate misses the ball blame yourself for not being there or knowing he'd miss - that way you would learn to actually be there the next game.
this is the mentality I've been using in my 2s games. currently d2 and 90% of people in this rank are toxic af

Are these diamonds in dual? Or diamond best rank? Because as someone who is gold 2 in dual and diamond 3 in 2s and 3s, I'm sure I could be these guys in dual. They seem much sloppier than I do

Final resoult: placebo effect do not affect the resoult, as seen in the video
Maybe it didn’t affect the result, but it did affect the start of the match.
It is important what you think but to actually test it would be nearly impossible. In this match it could have be a low d3 vs a high d3. The skill gap is enough for the low d3 to lose multiple times in a row. And since they both thought the same of the opponents ranks, you could say it got canceled out and it was just a normal 1v1.
I'm actually Champ 3 and held my own with a GC1 in 1s. Lost 7-5 though

My teammates never blame me and always apologise after, and my opponents always blame each other so maybe I'm just good 😂😂

A champ player is not a champ player, there is a significant difference between C1 and C3, but everyone on YT is just calling it „champs“ with the C3 logo

I honestly agree. C1 and C3 are too different to just be bundled up in the word "champ". A c3 would respectfully 9-0 a c1, not even trying to downplay c1 but that's how it would go.
It's also the same with plats, diamonds, etc, everyone calls them "diamonds" "plats" but there is a difference between 1 and 3, I'm right around d3 in 1s, and c1 in 2s but I played against 2 d1s and beat them 8-4 in a 2v1, there's a massive difference between d3s and d1s. Same with any other rank aside from maybe silver and bronze. Even ssls have that difference too, while there is no ssl 1, 2, and 3 specifically, you can kind of tell which ssls are low tier, mid tier, and high tier ssls. And than there are the pros which are players that are just on another level on there own.
