Big thanks once again to noob bassist Davide Biale 🙏🙏🙏
Im noob on the bass
Me too😢!
Don't call your self noob bro your good
Ur davide Biale ur real name
@@clburst82202 thats true bro
I love how they go from "learn scales" to WRITE YOUR OWN SONGS
Maybe we just didn't know it was a quantum leap 😂😂😂.
Jazz music? Just make it up as you go along
@@RobertJWaco not that simple as a beginner though
@@silverreaps6803 There is always someone who doesn't get a sarcastic comment as being sarcastic. Definitely not you though.
@@charliericker274 hilarious 😐😐
Instructions unclear, learnt how to play the guitar
6 string piccolo bass?
Nooooooooooooooooooo

I really liked this guy's tutorial on how to drive a car: Step 1: Choose your Lambo. Step 2: Reprogram the Engine Control Unit to increase horsepower and torque. Step 3: Clean with a gentle, pH-neutral car shampoo.
Step 4. Buy more cars
@@robinvanlierBut just if you like to ride it (what you never did before from the tutorial) 😂
Thanks to this guide. I learned to play a guitar.

Underrated comment
Yesss WE NEED TO MAKE A MEME ABOUT IT
This is the musical equivalent of "How to draw an owl. Step 1: Draw 2 slightly overlapping circles, the bottom one slightly larger than the top one. Step 2: Complete the owl."
8:04 That's not 30°! You learned nothing!
looks about 30° from being vertical
It's close to 69° (as it should be).

Great to see a collab between Davie504 and Davide Biale
2:47 Davie504: "When a bass is out of tune my ears explode"
6:59 Davie's G string:💀
Yeah that bugged me too 🤣. I was like : davie forgot the step where he needed to tune his bass 😂
it is in tune?
@@itspie_playz5723 nope the G string is slightly out of tune. You might not notice it but i have pitch perfect so i always notice the slightest imperfections. This one isn't that hard to hear tho. Just pay attention
@@nath4593 not to flex but even i have perfect pitch so it doesn't sound out of tune to me. Or maybe my ears are not earing
@@itspie_playz5723 well if you do have perfect pitch how do you not hear the G string being out of tune? Even the D string is out of tune by maybe 1/16 of a tone so it's not as noticeable but it still doesn't sound perfect. You could try comparing Davie's G string to another G string sound and you'll see.
You should have checked that tutorial for how to fish for bass. That's a really underrated bass technique that I feel is invaluable to beginners.
There's a John The Fisherman joke here somewhere.
This tutorial has finally taught me how to square the triangle in proper rhythm, thanks Davie504.
I went to play with a couple of bands who wanted me to play "their basslines" for their songs and EVERY TIME, it was a guitarist who wrote the Bassline and they wrote (and played) it the way a guitar would be played.
They kept wanting me to play with a pick.
UNACCEPTABLE!
This is genuinely, among your videos, the one that has made me laugh the most.
I like this Davide Biale guy... you should invite him more. It's refreshing to hear his real self. Jokes aside It's hard to be yourself online but don't worry your real fans already know you and love you for who you are. And you're an inspiration for me as a fellow introvert, tall guy, and shy person. You helped me be myself more and accept myself and not see myself as an outcast who needs to be 'fixed'. So thank you I usually don't write these comments but you truly are an inspiration for me keep it up and never change :)
EPIC bassist
NOT EPIC wiki tutorial
You inspired me to get a Bass. Have mastered 'Another One Bites the Dust' like a Hero. Well on my way to becoming part of the Pantheon
I certainly hope you're always playing at 30 degree angles!
@@captaincasual7239LOL i did at 45 and all four strings instantly snapped!
I have seen a lot of your vids. this is my fav so far. im slappin that like!
I am really looking forward to your bass tutorials for beginners!
Hilarious and so slap on! Evidently the writer of the wiki tutorial learned things from this video and quickly updated the wiki-how when I checked it today April 4. Thanks. Looking forward to your tutorial. Will buy a bass soon partly because of you.
Really lile the frequent uploads but dont let it get to you. Awesome video as always
You've convinced me to learn behs
Danny sapko fan😅
wtf are you doing here go make more kr content
Thank you for sharing this tutorial with us! I feel like I'm ready to buy more basses!
😂
Long time watcher, love the content. I usually only try to have one bass for sale an one keeper… at the moment I have a fender jazz bass, squier active jaguar, vintage Hondo explorer h-880, vintage Peavey T-40 and some home made mariachi style fret less acoustic electric. I have even had to stop myself from buying more. The only reason I ever put guitar next to bass when I list them is just to expand my reach for looks at my post… even when I post a mic or drums I always put “ ( guitar bass studio band related) “ I always think it’s hilarious when I see a guitar bundled with a bass amp or someone puts “base guitar”
HAHA! So well edited! Always love your product! Thank you...
Hey I am noobie504
thank you for your EPIC videos you inspired me to buy myself a bass and hopefully i’ll be slapping soon. keep up the amazing work!
Ive been waiting for this collab. Thank you Davie504
This was a *hilarious* video highlighting the best of Davie504 *ahem* I mean, Davide Biale
As a bassist and classical guitarist I have to say: First learn to play bass. Here is my reasoning:
The things, that you need to learn on a bass in order to function in a band are the most important practices, that every musician on a bass/guitar-shaped instrument have to learn. Except Bass has thicker strings and you need better technique (and more strenght) to do it right. I am talking about fundamentals, that every good musician on those instruments need.
Talking about strenght in the hand/finger. In order to warm up before playing guitar, I play some scales... but if I warm up before playing bass, I play some guitar first.
I wanted to play bass, my parents said, why not try guitar first? why? because we already had one in the house. later as a bass teacher I ran into this many times among my students. I hope it's not still a thing. you can buy a new bass online for $70 that's a very decent beginner's instrument. buy your kid a bass.
We missed you David, Im happy you are doing well ❤ Stay awsome and slappy !
These videos give me joy ❤️
Ngl Nice to Davide Biale Once in a while.
Hope he can be in more videos ❤️
legend back🥺
8:37 yes we need bass lessons from you🔥🔥🙏🏻
Hmm... This video actually made me wanna buy a bass again and pick up (no pun intended since picks are very much illegal on basses!) where I left off. Great tip with the sound card setup btw! Totally gonna use that + headphones in the densely populated area that I live in 👍
I couldn’t understand why you had so many subs. Now I get it. Great sense of humor Mr. Biale!
Love the energy
2:54 - very emotional times
I chose a 2 string bass with a diatonic scale as well as a Focusrite sound card. I couldn’t find out where to install the bulky sound card so I just play through an amp. So far so good
You can do a Bass Course in a Bass page with goods Bass videos of how to learn Bass
I've used a C major shape sweep arpeggio (fingerstyle on a 4 string bass) in a break during a song before.🤷♂️
Como vovó já dizia:"Toda música de qualidade, é bem vinda".

Got a Bass in 1964.. I was six.... Love your show ❤😂
But have you ever checked your 30° angle, my brother?
Mindblown when Davide Biale came out. why did I expect to see Davie504 and Davide Biale on a single frame tho. 😆😆😆😆😆😆
@Davie504 my oldest and I joined a community concert band a few months ago back and they picked up a bass….. trombone! You can’t slap it but you get an amazing sound out of it!
EPICO
You can still slap it
@@_Arugula_Salad_ you can slap it… once. Then it’s not a trombone any longer. It’s a big hunk of brass and is sad.
I've actually had this problem when it came to learning Bass. The teacher there played a lot of instruments and had a great sense in music theory, but he couldn't properly teach me advanced techniques like slap, tap, double thumb, etcetera. He applied as a teacher for bass because he knew how to play guitar well. It's nice to know guitar for music theory and such when teaching bass, but if you are going to teach it, actually know how to play it like a virtuouso. Don't apply because you know another instrument. It feels insulting. It's like if someone said they can teach the tuba cause they know how to play the trumpet. Learn it and respect it. Each instrument has their own techniques and fundamentals to learn.
After 2+ years playing bass, I decided to get a guitar to learn new things like muting when using a pick. I have had the guitar about a week but it is very different to playing a bass.
My bass instructor is primarily a guitarist. Thank you for bringing to light the error of my ways.
Hello Davie, I enjoyed this video. I laughed a number of times while watching it. I laughed when you asked which notes should I play? Which chords should I learn! There was no real information on note or chord playing. A beginner bass tutorial from you would be outstanding. Be well, Will Ortiz
This tutorial is so good. Got me sweep picking my bass and slapping my guitar🤘
I haven’t laughed this hard in a while!!! Great channel!
These are the kind of videos that got me to sub
character broke 3:30 finally i see one
How to play bass: buy bass. Buy amp. Fret random note, play octave, play fifth, make up bass solos, compose music. Buy second bass.
Stonks!
Great to see a collaboration between Davie504 and Davide Biale!
I started on fretless back in 2004. Went great! Started with Lounge Act, Californication, Zombi (cranberries) - great fretless songs of course totally not. K's choice really helped me bring out that fretless tone though; by plucking closer to the neck for that soft signature fretless grizzle.
i missed you sm omg
When you Play Double Bass you start woth fretless
Thanks for the guitar tutorial. OMG!
Thank you so much! I couldn't figure out why the bass wasn't working until I got a new protractor
it has been some time that i don't laugh like this kkkkkk
keep it up Davide Biale
mi mancavano questi video
i hope the guy who wrote these tutorials finds this video
I`m hyped for your tutorial, bro)
3:30 even David have to laugh in front of this!
7:14 blurred lines.
Also, a pro tip for newcomer bassists: Be gentle when slapping the softwood guitars, and you can slap harder the hardwood guitars for better sound.
I am a guitarist but I still wanna report that website 🙄🙄🙄
You should check out Keller Williams, he plays guitar but does a form of slap on it, very cool seen him live
This new David lore of headphones on vs off is fascinating, and very funny 😂
Inner elbow slap at the end, priceless.
LOVE U DAVIE, would you do bass challenges?
I slapped like and now I know how to SLAP bass. Epic
A davie504 bass course would actually be amazing!
He laughed for the first time !. I am proud of you Davie.
Well while they called me for this article I was actually playing bass in the band I now lead for. Maybe we need a bass/guitar battle to settle this 😂
These tutorials are pretty accurate i brought bass and played bass now i can play a few rhcp riffs
"Learn how to play roots."
I actually did that. The first song I learned to play on a bass was Roots Bloody Roots from Sepultura. The next one was Into The Void from Black Sabbath. After that, people started asking me to play pop songs so now I live in a desert.
There are some genuine good tips from Davie here, I didn't expect that
this tutorial was amazing… I didn’t know that a wikihow could actually subtract from my noob bass playing skillz lol
Poor Davey, so jealous he could not help as many people as these instructions have 😔
I now have 257 basses because of this tutorial
Clip on protractors for the headstock are now in production 😂
Very impressive!
How to play with your Bass?
- Buy a fishing rod, catch Bass, learn Bass to play the piano with both fins.
I've never been so grateful to learn bass guitar together with Davie❤
waiting for the complete course in order to buy it.
You are great man
'Bass Buzz Beginer Bass Lessons' was the best UA-cam guide i found so far (obviously until Davie504 showers Bass knowldge on the ignorant)
I used to play guitar 😌but i am better now
Davie! Bless you! Best regards to Mrs. I am not a bottom kissing person, I enjoy quality music, artists, vision! I am watching your channel for ages. I will never know have I have missed your albums. Probably because of how Tidal works or because who knows... let's blame Berthoud... Anyway, after you mentioned some music subscription services, said to myself to check TIDAL as well, because there is where my money goes, very high quality. I am listening now your third album on some pretty powerful hifi gear and it sounds amazing. First album was good, got a few favorites, second album... uhm... ALL are my favorites, third album... are you insane??? I will tell you something from the bottom of my heart, would you consider do a colab with Martina DaSilva (if she whants it), she is such a talented singer and really needs a good BASS because... well, I could tell you more but not here. Cheers, have a great life!
Def should cover Prince’s bass playing. Saw a vid of him laying down a bass track for the Batman movies. . . True artistry.
I actually started with the guitar 🎸 before learning the bass… the transition is actually really smooth 😂😂
you must be new here
You are amazing bro
6:16
Yeah fish for a bass instead of buying one
I think this is more useful
I have a question is really you advice in the 2:02 minute, about is better buy a sound card instead of amp? I want to start play bass I hope you see this
"This is the best guitar channel of all time."
- The Wikihow guy, probably
Or can you watch Tyler Joseph playing bass? He is not real bassist but he really often plays bass
Final slomo OMG 😍
i liked this video and i instantly learned Ramones - Blitzkrieg bop
Davie be confused on notes make me rolling
Hahahaha. This is the best channel. And I'm not even a musician in any way. Just here for the entertainment and bc I love the music and sound of the bass. Could you play the bass of the song, "Shake" by the r&b group The Gap Band? I would love your take and spin and opinion on it. Gracie
