As a resident of this earth named Thurston, I thank you for this great gift of song.
To me, personally, this represents the trials, battles, and willpower of Thor. This style of dance with a limp body that's struggling to move and keep shape, coupled with the dark musical tones and thumping bass, is representative of an unwavering will to survive. It's as though Thor himself is striking Thunder into the dancer's heart to keep moving and stay alive. Truly a beautiful piece of art.
As someone who's actual birth name means "Thor's Stone" I appreciate this representation. Legend tells of a battle Thor had against the Giant named Hrungir. During this battle, Hrungir launched a large stone at Thor, which shattered against Thor's forehead and one small piece of the stone remained lodged in his face until his death at Ragnarok. Additionally, hundreds of years ago when Vikings were still around, they'd go to the tallest mass of rock formations and perform ritualistic animal slaughters in the honor of Thor. This location is now known as Thor's Stone or Thor's Rocks in Thurstaston Common in Northwest England.

I see this as a soul awakened from a state of deep depression that created a void, so deep, it could be considered almost like death. Perhaps a soul slumber. Then go through a time of healing, and also the struggle to be stronger. Something like that lol. Thanks for the great music and performance. ✌

Every time I watch this video I interpret it as Life finding its way, not only human life, all life. If you stop paying attention to the person, and only see his movements, like, if you make your eyes blurry and see the shapes moving, he oozes and flows like an amoeba, and crawls and twists like reptiles or ancient animals, different organisms through the eras. In one part he literally walks like a dinosaur, until at the end, he stands, in both legs, and for the first time in the whole video he walks like a human.
So in my mind, during the whole video he was the Evolution or Life happening and being messy.
I'm not sure why it's called Thor's stone, though.

Hey Mr. Swords! I hope you don't mind, I love to skew your songs to 1.75 playback speed to get life in motion but still retain a semblance of what resonates within. This composition kind of started it. First, in it's original form, but like the boulder on the "Compassion" album cover, things are so heavy, I have to force feed audible coffee into my brain! Now it's more like running through the forest! not much like swords, more like razor blades, ouch! 😮. Maybe in time this'll make its rounds, and sprouts something new in the aether.
On the other hand, your piece, "Crow" will remain in its original form for me.
