Few years ago, I loved this song so much that I went to my boss and asked for two months off. I flew to India with no real plan nor destination, just following whatever opportunity would come across. I hitchhiked across the Himalayas, slept in Buddhist monasteries, somehow ended up in Malaysia hiking in the jungle and scuba diving. Turned out to be the best two months of my life.
With tears in my eyes, about to fall, I sit here thinking of the time I was 20 and pregnant and I was alone with it - with everything. As I listened to this song back then, the beautiful repetition of the words 'light' 'bring' and 'in', gave me clear visions of my son. How much light he brought into my life and now 13 years later, the light never fades. Listening to this song now and back then has always taken away that 'aloneness' with parenting for me. Underworld, you guys are astounding. The amount of emotion that comes about in listening to what you create is truly out of this world. Thank you.

I've been listening to Underworld since 2002, when this track was new. I only read Stone Ocean in 2019. I love that one of my favorite arcs in the whole series is named for an artist I've seen live.
I once related this song to my best friend. Who always brought in light and positive energy wherever she went. She was a magical kind of girl that opened my eyes in many different ways. Every time I listened to this song I always thought of her, such a joy to be around, enlightening and a great friend... Then she went and slept with the only guy I've ever loved. It felt like all hell broke loose between us. Whenever I hear this song I'm filled with so many mixed emotions, I have no idea how to feel. Once my favorite song that lit up my day, now an ominous tune that scrambles my brain. Hopefully some day I can righteously jam to this song again without thinking of her. Who knows, Underworld is really a magical group.

I remember buying the Pearl's Girls ep on a whim and was forever hooked. I already new Born Slippy but that EP was so melodic and complex. And by far one of the best CDs to have a chill psychedelic experience to, along with Moby's Rare:The Collected B-sides and FSOL's Lifeforms. Underworld is a group who like Orbital truly have a one of a kind sound that never disappoints. And watching Karl Hyde do what he does best-sing weird lyrics and dance like nobody's watching would get almost anyone into a positive mood

this was one of the greatest of underground house rock, club rock and trance music even made, this song takes me back to a time i was just 16 years old, 20 years later this is still one of the all time greatest songs of that era, wish i could go back in time

To be born in 80s you are lucky coz you just started getting some of the best music ever made in the 90s when you started understanding about music.
I remember buying the Pearl's Girls ep on a whim and was forever hooked. I already new Born Slippy but that EP was so melodic and complex. And by far one of the best CDs to have a chill psychedelic experience to, along with Moby's Rare:The Collected B-sides and FSOL's Lifeforms. Underworld is a group who like Orbital truly have a one of a kind sound that never disappoints. And watching Karl Hyde do what he does best-sing weird lyrics and dance like nobody's watching would get almost anyone into a positive mood
