He's even eluded to it saying "chess is in great hands" himself. It's not an age thing, it's a motivation/"I've done everything in chess possible, now it might be time to do something different." thing.
Sounds like you're not accepting a potential reality instead.
deserved win for Magnus 💯
@@ishan.18wow, you attack him instead of a billion Indian supremacist comments
@@ishan.18Huh?
@@ishan.18 🤡
It's unfortunate that there was barely any coverage on the 3rd place game
Well final game is more important
@@melzz there hasn't been any tournament ever where 2 rapid games were shown simultaneously
Yeah, I also didn't understand why they took it together.. like magnus just won, and they just had to move on to the other board!? Feels underwhelming
Prag made india proud 👏👏😍
Just cause somebody happens 2 B from your country or ethnic group and does something successful..
Doesn't mean it reflects on you...
HE WON .not y'all...🤷😂
Never understood why humans live vicariously through each other like that.
Very cringe ....😂👌
He made India proud by losing?
@@illmatixx_5346Do you even have a country? Why are you soo negative. Maybe your country is a Lgbt country
@@illmatixx_5346agreef
@@illmatixx_5346 I understand your thought process.. May be it is just a way to motivate sections of people who believe that it is impossible for them to succeed.
I love both of them...
Prag played very well.
Good day! Warm greetings from the city of Santa Monica, CA, USA!
Great commentating Daniel and Peter. Thanks.
So cool to watch both players take especially long in the most crucial times for their positions.
Peter Leko is a treasure
Pragg going to the candidates! Maybe next world champion!
Magnus Keymer game should be the final, it’s a roller coaster matches
Congratulations to the champion Magnus and bro prag you did great!! keep going!
Really good interview with Magnus Carlsen at the end, showing a great state of mind !
Great stream, thanks guys :)
Pragg you are amazing ❤🎉 At just age of 18 you are in the final and also congrats magnus ❤high ✋
I spend my life looking at screens and my spare time looking at chess boards on screens. Could we just have a video of people playing chess without the board. Or the commentators constantly on stream. It’s such an unpleasant experience.
Great job by praag. 18 years old and competing a 32 year old time good player.
When magnus was 18 he's beating everyone😢😢😢 dont cry please
@@ErnestoRamos-s5skid, better not to cry Carlsen became got GM title at age 14 while Praggnanandhaa at 13. Carlsen got trained by Various GMs while Praggnanandhaa was trained by only Anand. Praggnanandhaa became the Youngest GM to reach the Final, this is biggest Accomplishment.
@@amkai2928 kid were talking about 18 not 13 14 magnus is stinky proud killer that's it. So shut up don't cry starting from Anand if kasparov won't enter into politics and health until now there's world champion in country with 2billion brain
@@amkai2928"only Anand" what do u mean man he is a 5 time world champion?
@@amkai2928those various GM's can't beat Anand at his prime even with their combined efforts 😂
The game begin at 24:35
Why don't people edit their videos to remove the 20 minutes wait time?
what kind of camera they use for streaming ??
there's IM, there's GM, there's Magnus Carlsen
Can anyone explain the second game? I could not see any checkmates here so how carlson won in the secon game ??
Since two rounds were tied the third had to be sudden death
I don’t have the knowledge of how they organise the sudden death
He won the first one. The second one was a draw. So magnus got 1.5 points today and pragg 0.5.
As usual, an absolute privilege to be able to watch Magnus doing his thing. It's almost spiritual, if one were silly enough to believe in such things. But Magnus is so remarkable, he pushes me in that direction.
It is Spirit!
does anyone feel that caruana looks like an AI Character
Magnus wins FIDE World Cup! Congratulations on an awesome and fine performance!
Всё замечательно
Who was the woman next to Magnus and Pragg and why was she there? I've never seen the arbiters so close to the board like this!
Its interesting to hear Magnus say that he would prefer World Championships matches to have two games a day!, i dont see that happening, and he knows it, thats him basically saying he is done.
Yeah. I generally win the World Cup for social reasons, too.
Magnus : 1
Pragg: 2
Fabi :3
Arasov:4
Hikaru is crying in the corner
@@Sameerkhan5081j why he cry..
I was listening to the interview at the end while not understanding anything lol.
Leko is the best commentator out there
why there's no trophy ceremony?
Unfortunately Praggs end game is not strong enough but he is still young so he can still develop a strong foundation on end games
Nice chess battle
In future ,whether prag can surpass vishy ?
Someday Pragg will win and it will be even sweeter for him. A good story has tragedy before triumph.
What tragedy are you talking about? Second place in the FIDE World Cup is nothing but the prof of the talent and dedication of Pragg, there will be nothing but good things for him now on
this isn't tragedy for him.
this is a great lesson from a great chess champion.
learn. and. be grateful for the knowledge your opponent gives you. itll make you even better
No 2 is not tragedy ny ahy means nobody expected him to finished second ahead of so many good player it's cake for him just missed icing
This is not tragedy pragg got in the candidates and should be happy
Congratulations to Magnus, and surely Pragg has a great career ahead❣️😊
I find it hilarious how the commentators, who are GM’s as well, are always completely off of what Magnus’s plan is and he wins the games which other top players cannot find any sort of advantage let alone winning. He is without a doubt the GOAT.
Congratulations 🎉🎉
is the dude checking bombs at the beginning?
What a first game by Magnus.
magnus is now the indian slayer
i thought pragg shouldve got his bishop active instead of moving the rook.
I understand the choice to have a close up on the board as time scramble comes, but someone needs to remind the editor that we're watching chess here, and covering 9 f**** squares with the name band is ridiculous.
Magnus goat chess
Messi goat footbal.
Kobe goat basket ball
Ronaldo goat pinaltie
Speed chess is the future. Giving plenty of time for the players to make the best possible moves in every position is undoubtedly the best way to find who’s the best at chess. But.. For the players and the viewers it’s simply too much time. Larger brackets quicker matches will make chess exciting. Quicker games larger brackets means more players more action more upsets more viewers more sponsors more money and larger payouts.
The young gens succumbed to time pressures.
At 45:25 why wasn’t knight to g4 for magnus a good move? It blocks queen and is defended by bishop
Because it was forced?
I wish the match without commentary they really disturbed me
Greatest of all time Magnus Carlsen.
