Not bad! Great idea! I think that you weakened the jack significantly though.(Remember that the emergency jack is only as strong as it has to be) I don't think you needed the 3rd leg either(2 with rebar that thick and strong welds would be fine) and some gm scissor jacks have a hex on them to begin with and others are a bottle jack style if you want to experiment.
Nice work. This is perfect for a RV if you make four of them and mount them to the frame and have a switch for each jack. I'd mount a rubber tub on the bottom, so you could retract them and they'd be weatherproof for road travel. You'd probably still need to throw a pad underneath each jack to get the clearance level you wanted but it'd be easier than crawling around doing everything manually. Good idea.
Excellent innovation. The main thing is that this is a workable solution. The motor in this case was okay. But if anybody needs a powerful motor he can take it accordingly to suit his needs.

Good idea, but i want to know why on minute 5:32 you are showing u how to keep the motor from moving by soldering pins on the side, and towards the end you have cut off those pins?
Good idea but 45 years too late, I did this when I was 13 with an old starter off a riding mower. Also used a briggs engine and an altenator off a car to build a battery charger.
Pretty rough but it works and it's the same level of safety as if you were just using the standard handle. I wonder if that little DC motor gets too hot.
Great idea and concept... Love to see it lift a semi sized car...Also, I'm concerned with the threaded nut on the gear box is sure to loosen in a reverse force...
I made one 20 years ago. I saw you made a mistake welding the rebar in a spot that would not prevent the jack to move up and down. Have fun and be safe. Great fun video to watch.
Good afternoon. Good idea. I wonder if a gear motor from lifting the door of an old Ford Scorpio is suitable for this idea? Like it for your work and good luck in everything.
That's what I did I shaved down the square ringlet that's on my scissor lift so that it'll fit a socket and use my impact gun. The only thing that's in my trunk is the spare tire, a 12 volt air compressor, the scissor lift with a flat base that I welded on for stability, an impact gun with two batteries and a charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter.. All of that can fit in a small duffle bag. I can change a tire in less than 5 minutes
These jacks work perfectly in your driveway but try using that thing on the side of the road which is tilting the car towards the gutter! If it was only for the driveway, I'd be using a floor jack not this thing.
I don't think the motor will provide enough thrust to lift the car. Under the application of load the motor will simply be rotated in the opposite direction of polarity
Hey! In the USA here and I see a lot of European makers use the Parkside Tools. I’ve been buying a lot of them through Lidl Grocery that have been opening here. Are they any good? They are very well priced and seem to be better than a basic Black and Decker. I have gotten a few tools. The 20v drill, impact wrench, hammer drill, small hacksaw. Plunge router, a few electric screw drivers... I’ve seen welders, grinders, multi tools, rotary. Do you have any more?
Its alot of work for powerd jack. I just attach the crank to a drill if to long cut it down to fit like a drill bit. Tighten it up much simpler and more effective.

Has the screw cap been welded to the motor thread? Is it just tightened tight??
Outstanding idea
Very good idea and is really very usefull
Thanks a lot

Y X how to get it down? By reverse the power line?
Great idea👍
Hii bro nice work
This would only work if you are from another planet
Frond wheel try
There's 10 minutes I will never get back.
This is good idea for car jacks 👍👍👍
😳😳😳 EXCELENT!

Nicely done. But it's given me an idea just to put a hexagon head on one and use my impact drived

What did you use to connect with the 12v motor. Did you use battery?
Chou 👋
motor de limpia parabrisas??????
Alot better and faster with a 1/2 inch cordless impact wrench.
yes but then you cant make a crap video with loads of ads
Merci
Very cool idea. How did you know the windshield wiper had enough torque to be able to lift the car?
Its can't live lift a Car
It wouldn't

Good job..
it is very good idea but it can left car or not?
plese tell me
How we can connection switch,i have same dc motor there are 5 pins at motor please give diagram
Excelente propuesta 👌
Good idea
Super super

Nice video. Where did you get that motor?
Greetings from Ecuador
Thanks a lot 👍😉
Motor is From Danmark out of tractor

Could you add a wheel to move the car?

Is it possible if wiper motor is substituted with power window motor? Please answer 🙏
Hey thanks for comment, i think No its very low for this DIY project
@@MrDKDIY thanks for reply 😀
I use the jack for the patient bed, so maybe it's not as heavy as a car, what do you think? Is it possible?
😉
What was the torque required?
of what the engine is? Car windows?
That's awesome
Thanks

Awesome, nice work!
very good car jack ;-)
A very useful idea. Weldon
Great. But why bother with the motor and bracing and all the welding/grinding?
All it needs is a 'T' shaped bar clamped into a cordless drill !
parabens o senhor e muito inteligente ok.
Good work. That motor looks too small for the job, how did you increase the torque? does it always come with the gear reducer?
its a windshield wiper motor they produce alot of torque because of the worm gear inside
Very Nice! and functional...
observation: That thing is hilarious. I bet you don't waste time on another one. I hope you keep the hand crank nearby.
Why??
Nice
Hey mate this is exactly the video I was looking for, just wondering why you welded the two bits of reo bar then cut them?
Well I know why you cut them obviously but what was the reason you welded them on in the first place?
@@ramsrider14 anchor the motor
This is something I need to make with my everlast welder.
can you show as with hydraulic

In that how to reverse the toggle(i.e, compression)
use a double way toggle switch
