been rocking the x25 predator 360hz. pretty solid. purely for just frame adv, nothing fancy about the picture. everything a competitive gamer needs

Zowie's Black EQ, I agree is the best on the marked, I also prefer there AMA and Sharpness filter. I tried several other monitors, other tn and some ips 1080p/1440p, but I keep going back to my XL2540k
Yep everything on the zowie looks and feels amazing, makes my asus 144hz feel like a cheap toy

@@exepeon6254 Depends on the game. But for the most part jeg use sharpness between 7-10. color temp - normal, color vibrance 10-15, black EQ 5-10, AMA - high, brightness currently 50-60 but i also sometimes use 80-100, gamma 3. Low blue light 0, contrast 50. sometimes i also bump up the vibrance in the nvidia control panel.
any changes to this? also what vibrance/ gamma do you use in the control panel?
complys could you pass me your settings that you used in the old Asus MG248QR 144hz? did you cap the game at 141+ GSYNC at the time with your rtx 2070?
I did cap at 141 with that monitor and free sync on, I think it was the fps profile and trace free was on 60. I havnt used the monitor in so long though I don't really remember
@@complys Thanks for the answer. I recently bought an LG ultragear 240hz looking for the best configuration, asus is now secondary. Do you recommend also playing with G-sync + vsync + reflex? I didn't feel that much input lag.
For those that don't need 360hz, i have the 240Hz, and it's almost $200 cheaper
the 240hz would be my next reccomendation, still the best 240hz comp gaming monitor out

@@themetamind9305 hi bro, i spent a good week on this monitor for ps5 and i returned it, bought the aw2724dm bcos it has hdmi 2.1 vrr support for 350$. the xl2566k is good if it can run 120fps on apex but yeah i play apex on ps5 and 60hz and a 60fps on this has a horrible ghosting. i cant recommend it playing apex on ps5 but looks good on cod or fortnite tho. its a tn panel and its so dark even if i adjust or tweak the settings. this monitor is a superior in pc ngl its really good.

Since this is a 360hz monitor do you cap your FPS in game to 240?
I think youre confused. The older version of this monitor was 240hz. The newest one is 360hz. Most players using this monitor are gonna have good PC setups and run the game's fps uncapped.
@@holaaamannn you cannot run Apex at 360 fps. The game has max fps at 300. My question is since apex is impossible to run at 360 fps would it be better to cap it at 240fps vs running an inconsistent 300fps on a 360hz monitor
Yeah I do cap at 240 in apex still to make superglide timing slightly easier but it still looks and feels great. Other games like ow and cs I leave uncapped and never dip below 360
what about the color profile for the monitor, saw a video where you can download it from their website

Have you tried Viewsonic XG2431, been using the 390hz until recently, but switched to the XG2431 and using the custom mode on 144hz and that thing is so clear that it makes even the zowie sweat until it gets to the fps limitation if the image gets just way to fast for 144fps in blur buster?
The 390hz has bad ghosting

do you play with dyac on ? all the pros like reps, hal desactivate it because it gives you a headache after 5 minutes of playing with it, and it does it to me too
i keep it on premium all the time, i havnt had any issues but i know it varies from person to person

100% more worth, the 390hz is cheaper but doesnt even come close to the zowie in terms of clarity

I agree with you, but I am in a situation though, I have the budget to buy this monitor, but my pc wont run games consistently on 360fps while not experiencing fps drops, so should I even bother to buy the xl2566k monitor, or should I buy the xl2546k one, most ppl say that the main difference is just the refresh rate, and I would like to kind of reduce the stress being put on my pc by using 240hz rather than using 360hz. What would you do?

Hello, is it really better than a IPS panel monitor for example like a AOC 240hz monitor, because I've heard that this monitor is great for gaming but when it comes even to watch a youtube video or Netflix series the colors and the image quality are disgustingly bad
IPs will always look better, but compared to my acer 390hz ips it's only slightly worse

nah it doesn't look bad at all. i may be wrong but I think I remember reading somewhere they made improvements to the panel so the game still feels good when your fps is below the refresh rate, which was a problem sometimes on the 240hz zowie

it could still be good on console but you wouldnt get everything youre paying for. id stick to their 144hz options

Yeah I cap 299 since uncapped feels weird to me, other games with higher fps I leave uncapped

i think ulmb2 looks insanely good. the 27aqn is for sure more versatile and future proofed but it's also 1000 bucks, but if that's in your budget i would get the asus

Complys if you can please reply it’d save me a lot of money and time I bought the BenQ ZOWIE XL2540K 24.5-inch 240Hz and the colors on Overwatch looks so bad I copied this videos settings but it looks so grainy and saturated please help
The panel is different, copying his settings wont help. Also, the standard mode is the only mode that has regular default rgb levels, all the other ones even at 0 digital vibrance already have tint. I run standard at 99,96,100 and everything looks great to me, hope it helps.

I'm sorry I'm late to this but overwatch is a very colorful game already so you don't need as much vibrance. You'll have to mess around with it yourself because personally I like the really sharp and saturated colors

difference alienware better only for color and 540hz but zowie 360hz is more for gaming fast response time and dyac motion blur reduce is so good and actually about the colors u can allways boost up in invidia so zowie better that why zowie 360hz cost more money than alien 540hz

@@complys full hd res makes no sense for me now. there are lots of 2k 240hz monitors that offers a lot better visual and experience. 240hz on 2k is so much better than 360hz full hd (at least for me)
