Beautiful couple-I am 70 years old in Las Cruces, New Mexico-been watching you for years and love you💕I had my son at 39 and he is the love of my life. It’s great to be a parent after so many dreams are fulfilled. Follow your hearts. One child is very doable and gives new experiences full of love and keeps you young. Never had a dog, so getting my Samoyed Snow White in June. Thank you for ALL the joy you bring to my life. God bless and keep you both.🥰
Can I just say…..as a 60 year old woman…….if you don’t have a BURNING desire to have children, don’t feel that it’s a must. I always had it. I had my children young, then a great career, and now have grandchildren but I honestly feel that some have children because they think they’re meant to. Not fair to the children nor the parents. Having said that…..your happiness with your lives shines through, and you’d be wonderful parents should it happen. Also, as a 60 year old woman, I don’t believe in forever homes (for us and for people like you) because you’re reflective people who enjoy growth and are happy to acknowledge when your tastes change. We have had our desires for different lifestyles change several times- and are again in the midst of another. I love that we are fine with acknowledging that we no longer suit what we wanted ten or fifteen years ago. It’s growth. And I feel that you’re both the same way. Lovely vlog !! Hilarious at times.
Deciding to have children is a very personal decision, if you choose to, you will both be incredible parents - you both seem to have SO much love to give!!! Will children change your life, absolutely - but much like adding animals, your heart will grow in ways you couldn’t even imagine. Parenting is the hardest, most rewarding thing I’ve EVER done!
GET OFF THE TOILET!!!! This was gold! Great vlog!! I rarely laugh out loud and I did a few times throughout this! Thank you for being open and authentic!
I’m 49 in a long term relationship and we have never had a burning desire to have children. We have cats! lol!I enjoy you guys so much, thanks so much for sharing with us!
Countryside couple goals!🌱--I promise watching your own children play, run around, and gather eggs from your fur babies...that is another kind of joy. Much love from Montana 🇺🇲
My husband and I just let a child happen naturally, I was 38 when it happened for us, I lost that one, a year later it happened again, we only have him. It took us 10yrs. If it didn't happen, we would have been fine with that too. Babies for some are everything, we didn't have that belief. Family or friends pressure is ridiculous for a couple, who would be just fine, and Happy without children. Thanks for the updated Q&A you guys are a fabulous couple.
Thank you for this Q&A, I appreciate both sharing stories. I definitely can see both of you expending your entourage work and life wise. Parenting topics could be very private and intimate, so thank you for responding to some noisy questions. I wish both of you the best of success ❤ May all your dreams come true 🎉
I believe in meant to be….if it’s meant for you to have children it will happen ….if not you will still have the most amazing life together…much love from Portugal 🇵🇹 Algarve 🌞🇵🇹🌻 where it’s sunny 😹
I’ve been following you both since before the move and the journey has been so inspiring and a joy to watch, thank you for taking us along with you ♥️ I am a parent to a now-toddler and I am almost 35. Given how thoughtful and intentional you both are, when and if you choose to take that step to have children, I suspect it will be a very natural process for you. There are always ups and downs and unexpected things that occur with starting a family. But all things being equal, I have found that intentionality, being present, and also having the right support team (family/friends, and also professionals to support your health or help with stability like pediatric sleep consultants, etc), makes family life feel manageable and you can just lean into the joy of it all. Wishing you both the best ♥️
I think the best marriages are the ones where both people have shared values. And you both do to be sure! Work, play, humor, garden, friends, music, home, animals and health are important to you both. Also it’s great if the couples are different as well. Imagine two neat-nicks married to one another. You are both so lovely and thank you for sharing your lives with us. 💕💕💕
😂 oh I loved your Q&A specially the bit about what annoys you about each other. I laughed so much as so real. It’s nice to know that you also have toilet troubles and messy house keeping 🤣🤣
Lovely video with such a nice mixture of sincere seriousness and happy laughters.. such a joy to watch. And by the way, I’ve always thought my dad is the only man on this earth to sit thaaat long on the toilet, but voila.. he‘s not alone 🙈🤣 somehow I feel relieved 😌
You will know if you want a child (or children) when that desire becomes the most important thing in your lives. Otherwise, if you cannot say this, do not bring a child into this world. A child deserves to be loved beyond measure because he/she is a precious gift from God.
You were presented with hard and thought provoking questions, but love it. Two of my favorite people, stay happy, be super kind to each other and make lots of love together.
Loved this video!! You two are such a joy to watch, your connection to each other is fabulous and Ali's dad jokes are the best! If you don't have children, trust me, it's ok 🙂 I think the whole "you're married now, it's time for kids" is ridiculous. Sometimes the desire just isn't there. We are just as happy with our sausage dog Zena. And I agree with the forever home thing to a degree. We lived in Texas for 15 years, I knew that home was not our forever home. For one, it didn't feel like home. Moved back to West Virginia and "thought" we had our forever home. Loved it. Wanted to do all these things to it and just settle down and be there forever. Then 2020 hit, the year of pure hell as I refer to it. We lost my husbands parents within 4 months of each other (cancer, not covid) and we ended up moving into the house they had bought. NOW, we are in our forever home! Home is where you hang your hat but, you gotta love the home your in. And you have a fantastic home!! I now want chickens, lol.
This was brilliant and as a Brit living in Oz it makes me miss the humour and banter we do so well and made me feel a bit closer to home.I watched this twice as on my way to work and needed a giggle.I do believe that laughter is such a key element to life, therefore you seem to have it in droves.Keep up the great work and more of these.xx
I’m in the same situation! If someone coming from a difficult family, I think it is normal if you don’t feel like you want to be a mom/dad or not! I loved this vlog! 🩷
Same here, sorry to hear you come from a difficult family - hope you can find your own family made out of friends or through your partner that make you happy : )
Maybe that is my problem :( And I feel bad about it. Sometimes I have feeling I want it but others that not :( ANd I feel sad of having the feeling of not wanting them
I love you two! there is nothing further to be said. Watching you both in your videos is so therapeutic, everything just feels so calm and beautiful to watch from the Q and A's to your day to day videos. I would really like it if you both did a collaboration every month where you together do a video just pottering around the house, cooking, gardening, trips together..etc
Lmao! The kids question, yesterday my partner and I were looking at our son stuffing food into his mouth in his high chair “I adore him, how does he even exist” there are days where you marvel at how incredible they are, it literally seems like they’re made by magic… and then there are days like today - where you wake up and just think, I don’t want to do this anymore, I’m done… I just want to wash my hair without him trying to tip over a plant or try and get in the shower with me, or have a sudden fascination with the loo brush or touch a hot radiator 😅😮💨 But he makes me laugh so much, and as someone who really wasn’t sure if they wanted kids, the contentment and peace it has brought me as an individual has surprised me. It filled something in me I never knew was missing, and I think i would have been content without him, it was just at a different level, if that makes any sense at all x
thank you for your fun and candid conversations - so refreshing! also, i've been thinking about whether I want to be a mother as well. like, it's something i thought i wanted my whole life, but then i started thinking about why. like, how much of that was just society's expectation that you're supposed to have children? how much is it me genuinely wanting them? and i have so much respect for you guys just going "We don't know yet"! especially because you're being realistic and honest with yourselves about it, and putting little people into the world is something i feel like you should be certain of before doing. also i've been thinking a lot about whether i want a life with kids. honestly, i think it's very much gonna come down to a) whether i find a partner and b) whether that partner wants kids or not.
Thank you both for such an honest...and entertaining... vlog! You really put in the effort to achieve a loving and balanced life..and the result is obvious❤❤
My husband made a video to show our children and myself how to install a roll of toilet paper. It was hilarious. If you need to use it just let me know.
My parents got married, raised 4 girls and got to see their 3 grand children and 2 great-grand children play in the same house for over 60 years. I believe it's easier not to be attached to a house, when you come from divorced homes. When your parents are single they are likely to move around, which would have some influence on your thoughts towards constantly relocating. I do believe I am very lucky to be able to visit my parents in the home I was born and raised in, I also feel home is wherever your loved one's are. Thank you for sharing and being so honest with us. Sending Love and Happiness to you both.❤
I wish people would leave other people alone - everyone seems so keen on ensuring that everyone else has children. Some of us don’t want any, and love our lives. To each their own. Don’t be pressured into doing it because people tell you to.
That was fun….i love your house. My husband and I are in the downsized part if our life. Sold the big house and when we travel you can just lock up and go. It’s a different headspace about a forever home I agree…..I guess that’s where we are at now…..less to manage.
Loved!!!!! Please do again. Yes, freeze eggs. One day you may feel something is missing when you’re older. My aunt did. She had an exciting life full of adventure and was afraid children would change her lifestyle. When she and my uncle were older, both had strong regrets. Things change she said when you’ve been everywhere and there isn’t anything she did without. Loved this chat soooo much! It was so relatable and relaxed and real. You guys are a beautiful couple and I love following your lives, it gives me inspiration to create a slower paced life of my own.
Absolutely love you two! Your happiness is infectious - I thoroughly enjoyed this video and wouldn’t usually comment but wanted to thank you for including the question on whether you see children in your future. It definitely is not too late if you did choose that path. Wishing you many many more years of blissful happiness xx.
I would be VERY interested to know about EACH of your up- bringings and including how you feel about how you were raised…where did you each grow up, the size of each family, the culture, the spiritual teaching…that would be VERY interesting…because I often think about those things.
How blessed you both are to have each other and the beautiful life you have created I am reading Evergreen ( a Christmas gift from my son which arrived here In Australia last week 🎉🎉 ) and as I read I slow down appreciate and learn how to stop and enjoy best wishes Cathryn 🤗💖
You know what stands out to me - you still make eachother LAUGH!!! Such an important ingredient for a long lasting relationship ❤

😅😂very real couple. Watch you both. Very funny
I'm in ABQ!
Never usually feel compelled to comment but you have such a genuine, playful, loving relationship. It’s heartwarming and beautiful to see.

This is so well said, and so true 🩵
This is the best video you have both done for ages and ages. Please do more of these types of things 😂
Deciding to have children is a very personal decision, if you choose to, you will both be incredible parents - you both seem to have SO much love to give!!! I was crying!! :D
They are amazing!
My middle son is so Alli…hours at time🤦🏽♀️
I’m 49 in a long term relationship and we have never had a burning desire to have children. We have cats! lol!I enjoy you guys so much, thanks so much for sharing with us!
"We have cats!" made me giggle!
Same!!! We have no kids too. To each their own.
Countryside couple goals!🌱--I promise watching your own children play, run around, and gather eggs from your fur babies...that is another kind of joy. Much love from Montana 🇺🇲
Well said 😊❤ 🏴
I just love Porty just sat there like he is taking everything in ♥️😂 love you guys ❤
So so funny, you two are absolute relationship goals. I’m just sat here chuckling to myself over Ali’s toilet habits 😂😂😂 made my day 😂😂😂
My husband and I just let a child happen naturally, I was 38 when it happened for us, I lost that one, a year later it happened again, we only have him. It took us 10yrs. You two are just GOLD!! Thank you for sharing, I love your energy and that your two souls have found each other❤
Thank you for this Q&A, I appreciate both sharing stories.
I definitely can see both of you expending your entourage work and life wise.
Parenting topics could be very private and intimate, so thank you for responding to some noisy questions.
I wish both of you the best of success ❤ May all your dreams come true 🎉
Your swagger is elegant. I always get old money vibes from your videos❤
Very enjoyable discussions 😊 .. and you seem to bounce off each other in different ways yet with a mutual outlook on life, a match made 😍 x
Communication in any relationship to me is THE key to a lasting one. As well as, really listening to each other. Sometimes you can agree to disagree.
I have the same with animals - everytime I look at my 2 cats I think : „I can’t believe they are with us, and I’m so greatful”. Great chat and Q&A! 🖤
I believe in meant to be….if it’s meant for you to have children it will happen ….if not you will still have the most amazing life together…much love from Portugal 🇵🇹 Algarve 🌞🇵🇹🌻 where it’s sunny 😹
In the kindest way possible, you guys fell in love at your worst (fashion wise) so now you deserve and can love each other at your best!

I loved the openness of this video, made me laugh so much too! ❤
"GET OFF THE TOILET" had me in tearsss, hilarious
Loved this. Having children is a decision only you can make.

Very interesting seeing the dynamic you guys have between eachother as you answer these questions
My husband does the same like Ali on the toilet! I call him on the cell to see if he is alive?! lol I totally enjoyed this...see you soon!
He watches corn
Loved this vlog Ali, you both are beautiful humans inside and out. It’s so lovely to watch you both growing together. Keep enjoying life!
What an incredible vlog …. Ali you are so funny and such a joy to watch… Thank you for answering the hard hitting questions with honesty
Love that you view your animals as Ali’s greatest gifts. They truly are. Love how you cherish them.
What a lovely Q&A. Genuine and humorous.😄

My husband made a video to show our children and myself how to install a roll of toilet paper. It was hilarious. If you need to use it just let me know.
God Bless you both....you living posh life compared to the messed up quarreled city living....you both have done great job building each other.
My parents got married, raised 4 girls and got to see their 3 grand children and 2 great-grand children play in the same house for over 60 years. I love this video you two are so great together and hilarious. Ali is such a lovely genuine man. 😍
You guys are so inspiring and a beautiful couple! ❤️
What a lovely couple you are I have followed you both for ten years you are a inspiration
This was great, very authentic and funny…more please
Loved the Q and A. You are right you must be able to bring up any subject and mull it over without aggression or sulking etc. Mature exchanges.
I wish people would leave other people alone - everyone seems so keen on ensuring that everyone else has children. Some of us don’t want any, and love our lives. To each their own. Don’t be pressured into doing it because people tell you to.
Well verse conversation. I love seeing you both and you look so lovely. I love watching you both. You give so much inspiration and new ideas.
Love you both. This was truly enjoyable! Would love a video about all the things you are doing for health, wellness, new ways of eating, etc!! ❤️
I agree with Ali about a forever home
I respect the transparency and honesty the two of you shared. Also, I appreciate the humor which made me laugh! Best wishes to you both!
That was fun….i love your house. My husband and I are in the downsized part if our life. Sold the big house and when we travel you can just lock up and go. It’s a different headspace about a forever home I agree…..I guess that’s where we are at now…..less to manage.
Loved this Video…..answers a lot of questions about the 2 of you as a couple and your mindset as a couple…..it’s refreshing….. 44:39
I loved this Q&A. So lighthearted and fun. I hope you do another one soon ☺
Love seeing this side of your personalities 😊 really enjoyed listening to your answers xx
Oh my gosh you two are so funny. Laughed out loud. Of course we all were visualizing Ali sitting on the toilet. ❤❤❤
A certain loneliness seeing her friends with big families and grandchildren caused sadness and loneliness for them.
For her she better not get children.she will exploit them
Awesome vlog , the best ever.. both of u r great.. and seeing Lumi just stroll in behind you was soooo cute... more Ali please... He is great !
This was so fun!! Thanks for sharing 😊
Loved this very sweet, transparent and fun talk. Thank you for making us smile and being so willing to answer deep questions and some in very funny real ways. ❤😂
Definitely a cute couple, genuine with a good heart!
You guys are great 😂. Ali’s tidiness reminds me of David Beckham in his documentary.
😂 you guys made me laugh out loud tonight! This was so much fun after a long teaching day. Thanks x
I highly recommend freezing embryos. So you have the option later on. Conceiving kids later in life due to poor egg quality as we age is so difficult and no one talks about it. It’s my biggest pain and regret not freezing embryos.
Loved this chat soooo much! It was so relatable and relaxed and real. You guys are a beautiful couple and I love following your lives, it gives me inspiration to create a slower paced life of my own.
Loved this so much! Cheers to you both for continued inspiration. All the love. x
Loved this! My fav couple on UA-cam. I laughed so much, Thank you!!
you guys are really a handsome and beautiful couple......😘😘😘😘😘😘
Ah loved your chat together.
Thank you for sharing.
Enjoy your life and we all look forward to following you both. Take care of each other, always. ❤❤
Absolutely love you two! Your happiness is infectious - I thoroughly enjoyed this video and wouldn’t usually comment but wanted to thank you for including the question on whether you see children in your future. I had previously been under the impression that you were choosing not to have children, but hearing you say that it just hasn’t happened gave me a bit of hope - sorry if that sounds strange but let me be someone who says, having a child is a beautiful experience and I believe you two would be fantastic parents! It definitely is not too late if you did choose that path. Wishing you many many more years of blissful happiness xx.
Ali is so honest and lovely 😁so down to earth person, nice to watch you both xx
I see the joy of life in your relationship and
Like your videos. Fun inspiring and delightful. Keep at it
I would be VERY interested to know about EACH of your up- bringings and including how you feel about how you were raised…where did you each grow up, the size of each family, the culture, the spiritual teaching…that would be VERY interesting…because I often think about those things.
I really love seeing you together. You have a great relationship. Thanks for the q&a
I love it that you guys were inspired by George Michael and how how gave to charity incognito. What a guy ay! We miss him so much xxx
