Ali, mice hate the smell of mint, peppermint, spearmint. So it may help to grow a big pot of mint in the greenhouse. Here in the States, you can purchase mice sachet bags that smell like peppermint and you can place them strategically around your home. I love a good tidy up!
What a nice video. Il love how Lumi got so excited going into the greenhouse and your chicken are looking healthy and well cared for. It;s nice you let them out to forage. They give better tasting eggs if you do and they love scraps from the garden, once it's full and running. They'll thank you for it.
Hi Ali, Congratulations on your beautiful, rustic shed - it looks perfect. Also, so nice to see sweet Lumi hanging out and helping in the greenhouse - super cute. :) -A.C. Chand (from Canada)
It’s a cold, grey day here in Dallas, Texas too. Your content was a perfect addition to my day. Cozy and calming. You doing the everyday things is what keeps you and your channel approachable, you doing everyday things with aesthetically pleasing tools in beautiful places keeps us coming back to get ideas of how to improve our everyday life. Thank you for sharing.
Windy, rainy here in NW Pennsylvania on the shores of Lake Erie. Trying to get my house decluttering and cleaned so I can get outside and get my gardens both veggies and flowers ready for summer I have over 70 David Austin, English roses, then swimming time and patio time in our pool. I always figure by the time we get to Mar not much left of winter, we normally have over 100 inches of snow and we’ve only had 15 inches
Great idea of the sand in the brick, I’ll use that in my patio. Here in California we take lemon tree growing to an art form. If I can suggest some things that those of us that have great success implement. Mix in CITRUS MIX 6-3-3. Do this twice a year. Try and water frequently. But careful not to overwater, or the fruit will simply drop off the tree. Lemon trees need a lot of moisture if you can mist the tree first thing I the morning, the tree will love the moisture. Also wHen first planting, don’t allow flowers to go past opening up. Pick off the flower before it turns to lemon pod. Do this for the first 3 years. This allows the root system to become stronger. giving off tastier fruit.., if a lemon tree is allowed to produce fruit before this three year period, you will likely end up with a tree that does not produce as much fruit in the end and the tree itself will have a growth stunt. Once you see the flower start to bloom, pick off. In the mean time all is not lost. I pick off the leaves, slice up the leaves, to open the pores, and it makes THEE most amazing lemon tea you have ever had. You can use a bottle mister or a hose mister
It is late in the evening here in New Jersey, USA. It is raining and very windy outside. The electricity just went out, so I’m watching this wonderful vlog in the dark on my smart phone. Yet another incredibly relaxing episode, and a nice accompaniment to the sound of the inclement weather. Thank you , mate.
I could only see the spiders in the bee hive😮. Is it just me or does England seem extraordinarily spidery☠️? Glad the bees are good. The chickens look so happy and healthy. Always impressed with your “honey do” skills Ali👍
Ali, the greenhouse looks beautiful after your tidy up and get that pesky mouse. Is spring a little early in your part of the world 🌎. The winter and weather here in North Central Minnesota has been very mild and dry so far, and I am expecting an early spring. That could be either good or bad. When you were putting the hive roof together with the screws do they get loose and wobbly over time? I have heard of people using a dab of wood glue on wooden furniture when assembling it to combat any future wobbles. You are a worker and a wonder!!!!!
You will have to put your hens in another area when your produce comes in from your garden otherwise your hens will eat it all! You will have to separate your kitchen garden from your girls!!
Lumi is dad's little helper ❤🌸💐
What a great guy to tidy up her greenhouse Im sure she will be over the moon
Lumi loves your company. Your little buddy
Your presence on camera is so calming ❤️
The sweet smell of the hyacinths and the buzzing of the bees around the first blooms in the garden is a reminder that spring has arrived!!!
This was so relaxing! Lived the end with the rain shots and flowers in the tidy greenhouse 🤩
You are such a good man, Ali.
You’re such a great husband, great blogger and a great daddy to Lumi. Your voice is so calming, it would be awesome for audiobooks.
Totally agree! His voice is just so relaxing 😌
I love how your garden and green house are looking. Seeing the beehives and the chickens is so uplifting. Thank you Ali😊

Great watch Ali. Small weeds in paving can be sorted by sprinkling cheap table salt on them. Just leave it to do it's thing. Garden looking very good.

Nostalgia Fact: .......My grandfather was a beekeeper in the early 1900s in the. Caribbean.🐝♥️
The pebbles are called Leca expanded clay. Just FYI, these are used for hydroponics most frequently. 😃
This content is good 😊 I also think Lumi is in love 🥰

Maybe try chocolate 🍫 to catch the mouse. Is something my dad used to use when all else failed.
Loved this video
Spring prep?! Wow, still very much cold where I am. Nice video
Those water retaining pebbles are called: LECA
Beautiful video ✨✨✨
Love this video
Hey, check out those awesome electrical plates, they look vintage :)
Perfection ❤❤
You need a cat who likes mice!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Ali, do you have a video on how to start bee keeping? Is it true that mice gravitate to chicken coupes? Beautiful land. How many acres?
nice.........
Put the trap by the door…..P.S. if you melt tootsie roll and stick it to the back of the trap they will go after that, if the food doesn’t work.
Even though she is your sugar mama ;-) That woman is very lucky to have a husband like you. ❤❤
You will have to put your hens in another area when your produce comes in from your garden otherwise your hens will eat it all!

Dear Ali, please use a facemask next time you clean a place where a mouse was. They spread the Hanta-Virus, which is very dangerous.
We always put chocolate or peanut butter in our traps x
