I like the finger technology. You could point, shake your hands, shake fists, etc. Usually you don't see your hands and if you do, it's spazzing out all over the place. Neat tech they got.
cristian rosales we tried hard but no, you can't. Also can't pick your nose (finger won't go close to nose). We still managed to come up with a handful of other obscene gestures. No spoilers, I'm sure you'll figure them out, lol.

Obviously this game needs versus multiplayer. I'm not sure what engine would allow MMO sized fights. but arena size with 5 ships per team and 4 crew members each seems amazing! eventually you would need 3-4 factions and the ability to hail each other.
Blue★ I don't know what you mean act? but in live action mmo and even moba, each player has a specific job that their teammates rely on. communication is essential and coordination a must. you can play this game without ever having to call each other by rank.

Not a big community? There's probably around 2 million or more VR users now (PSVR, Rift and Vive) and the attachment rates for games like this is probably going to be rather high. And the numbers are going up all the time.. I'd expect numbers of people getting into VR going up significantly by the end of this year.
Lithus17 apparently it's cross platform... And being one of the better implementations of VR I've seen, I'm sure it will have a decent enough following.

On the one hand, this looks amazing and a total blast to play with the right group of people. But on the other, I wonder if the technology is there yet to give us an all-around genuine dynamic Trek experience with multiple locations, environments, complex situations, creative problem solving, and things that aren't just zooming about space while everyone's on the bridge following mission directives. I can't help but think that fans will desperately want more from the experience than what is feasible and therefore become frustrated by the limitations.
I really want to see as much as possible Joe. I am honestly considering buying VR for this game and I need to see more, so please upload those other videos.

Was thinking, was there not an option to use a trackter beam and pull the Allie vessel out of the Neutral Zone, coz once they were no longer in the neutral zone then surely the enemy wld stop firing on u and your allies. - Seems the only reasonable way u could save all of the crew on your allies ship as it would take far far too long to teleport all of them to safety.

angry joe, if you like this style of games, you should try Pulsar Lost Colony. the game allows you to walk through out the ship, and you can use the teleporter to board stations and planets, and you get 7 ships.
I already played this at the last gamescom back in august 2016. And it was my first VR experience. Man that was awesome and immersive. Especially the little controllers where you can control even your finger movements. The Problem is though .. how the f'ck are you ever gonna get 4 people with 4 VR headsets in one room? ^^
Doesn't that pretty much destroy the whole immersion. You sitting there in a room with the other guys that transforms into the enterprise. You wouldn't even need a headset for that cause the others can just speak to you and if they are ordered according to where they are in VR that is just mindblowing. I experienced it first hand and to play online with strangers is just not the same thing.

Pretty sure it would be online only. We all know how bad ai voice recognition is. There is simply no way this would work in a single player format.

There are tons of really great and awesome VR games already. Reading the same "oh finally a good vr game" under each of those video just shows people havnt done any research.
coolertuep bullshit i own most of those vr games i play for a week then never touch they suck give me headaches after plying for an hour.

Well, I guess the fact it is set in the Star Trek universe makes this game interesting. Other than that it is a "push virtual buttons simulator".
Yes, but you don't need VR to do all that. I can push buttons in the real world. It's cheaper, easier and more comfortable.
angry joe, if you like this style of games, you should try Pulsar Lost Colony. the game allows you to walk through out the ship, and you can use the teleporter to board stations and planets, and you get 7 ships.

I already played this at the last gamescom back in august 2016. And it was my first VR experience. Man that was awesome and immersive. Especially the little controllers where you can control even your finger movements. The Problem is though .. how the f'ck are you ever gonna get 4 people with 4 VR headsets in one room? ^^

Doesn't that pretty much destroy the whole immersion. You sitting there in a room with the other guys that transforms into the enterprise. You wouldn't even need a headset for that cause the others can just speak to you and if they are ordered according to where they are in VR that is just mindblowing. I experienced it first hand and to play online with strangers is just not the same thing.
