Hi nurse from the Philippines here....I am so thrilled to hear you say that ur excited to go to nursing school. Enjoy and always study hard. Love your vids!

I am so happy that I ge to follow your journey as I am doing it as well. SO proud and good luck !!! (I am so scared of failure too, but lets try and focus on what we want and not outside influences haha)
Kiara I'm so so happy for you. You are so hard working and motivated that I know you'll not only get in but also make an amazing nurse in the future!! Super excited for future vlogs.
it's so insane that I found your channel the fall of your freshman college year ... I was going through the worse time of my life that fall, when you made my heart smile with every upload and I appreciate it! Like i tell my own 18 year old daughter, I am proud of you everyday! I can't wait to see the new content 😊
I am a pediatric ER nurse!! Best career ever. Loving on the babies in, what can be, the toughest days of their life, are the best and most humbling experiences of your life ❤️ you will be an amazing nurse!
I pray the best for you, and for all who is going through big changes in life. Just a simple reminder, we don't need to please people, we don't need to follow people's timeline. We can do it!
I’m so happy for your future, sending lots of positivity and happiness to you and your journey. You mention the fear of failure, ugh that’s probably the scariest thing combine with the fear of success like what if you get what you want but you hate it or aren’t good at it. I’ve recently got job I thought I really wanted but I had to leave two month later because I hated it. However, now I’m doing something I really enjoy even though the money is less but I’m using my degree.
Thank you so much for making this! People feel so pressured to finish their college plans in the traditional amount of time. I recently changed my major which pushed me back to graduating in December instead of May and I was so discouraged. Thankfully I realized that sometimes it takes more time and that’s okay!! 💞💞
Hi Kiara here I am again so proud of you in pursuing your dream to become a nurse. You and TWann may part ways this time but I do believe that you two will grow and bloom wherever you choose to go. Loved you both and I'm happy that there's more study vlogs to come gonna stick with you all the way. xoxo
"A sweet way to celerate 💛 " thanks for your dm 💖 yes thats me on Ig can't reply on dm so I'll just comment my reply here love you Kiara hope to meet you in person ❣
I've realized that as long as I wake up and continue to want to pursue my future profession, that's when I know that I'm doing the right thing. Going from one major to another, it's difficult. I wish I had stuck with Environmental Science, but I chose Education instead. However, I still ended up with Environmental Science at a brand new university on the other end of Texas. Go with your gut and always do what you're passionate about!
Hey lady! . Current nursing student here, planning the same path as you; ADN-->BSN . Cost breakdown for the two year ADN program to BSN degree through your dream school: ADN ~ 24K BSN ~ 11K (the dean of nursing at my community college said OHSU lowered this cost and does not plan on raising it) . BTW, you're going to make an incredible nurse! SO so needed. Best of luck!
I hardly ever comment, but wooow this video was amazing!!! Needed to hear this, as I have been thinking of going to nursing school but the cost and doubting myself was stopping me but this video just gave me the motivation and confirmation to go for it!!! You literally answered all my questions I had in my head lol. Love your energy and personality, keep up the great work!!!
I recently found your channel and really loved your college/study videos and was sad when I found out you were graduating college, but I’m so excited that you’re continuing school!! Congrats!
I think it’s super awesome that you chose to listen to yourself and to prioritize your needs/wants over peer pressure! Wishing you all the best in this next chapter of your life... cannot wait to follow along via UA-cam!
You should do some budgeting/what I spend in a week videos! I love watching those and I also live in the PNW considering moving to Portland so it would be helpful!
I appreciate you being honest about the feelings you have around money and holding you back. This is something I’ve struggled with dramatically throughout university so it put some ease into my heart hearing about all the thought you’ve put into your decision. I for one think 15 steps into everything because of $$$$
I’m a nursing student right now! Its difficult at times but so worth it. It’s so cool that you know what you want to do and fought to find a way to do that!
That question at the end and talking about doing what makes you happy definitely helped out me a lot with all the uncertainty I’m facing right now with college and career paths 😅 I’m so so so excited for you, I can’t wait for all your nursing school and apartment videos!!! 💞💞
I'm so glad! You're seriously going to be great at ANYTHING you do Leia...you just have to looking into every option and see what makes the most sense for your life 💛
I am so excited you’re doing nursing! Fellow nurse here in labor and delivery! Take advantage of hospitals being able to pay for some of your BSN and work while you have your ADN and are working. The reward will be so worth it!! Don’t let money hold you back. I know it’s hard, but you’re being smart with your decision to do community college! Best best of luck!
I'm currently a freshman in law school, waiting for things to go back to normal and start my classes and quarantine made me realise how afraid i am of "adulting", living alone and making my own choices. After watching you talk about how you never know if you're doing the right thing and seeing how well you plan for your future I feel kind of more secure in myself? In a sense that I too can make plans for the path I want and enjoy the moment. Thank you for this video and good luck for us two in our new journey hahah, I hope everything goes well and according to your plans 💕
I cannot waittt for your nursing videos! I remember in one of your first videos that I watched you mentioned that you wanted to be a nurse and I was like oh absolutelyyy her personality combined with her strength and determination will make her an amazing nurse
I remember commenting back and forth with you about nursing school a little over a year ago, and I'm so happy you decided to do it! I'll be starting nursing school this fall, the nerve-wracking application process is definitely worth it. Also congrats to Twann! You guys are gonna be amazing nurses :) Overall excited to see where this journey takes you!
I wish you so much happiness! I hope you will truly be happy doing nursing! It's really inspirational to watch this video at this time because I am currently in the process of finishing high school and deciding on which college I will attend in fall.. :)
I am so proud of you for deciding to become a nurse! You will make a wonderful addition to a healthcare team someday. This is so exciting and I cannot wait to watch your journey!!
I also wanted to say that as your followers, we totally understand that sometimes people fail, and that's okay!! We are rooting for you 100%, and are here for you!! You got this!! ❤️
Congrats on finally figuring out what you plan to do Kiara. I will miss your college videos but am looking forward to all the new content you will be making. Can you please make one on your skincare and your makeup routine updated as of now?

There is NO doubt you will get into your dream school! You are a smart, fierce, kind, ORGANIZED (lol), wonderful person and they will love you. You got this girlie!!
I’m in nursing school right now, hopefully graduating December 2020. You’re gonna be a great nurse! It’s okay, not taking the traditional route. Congratulations :-)
I am a CNA on a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit while I am also in nursing school! I am watching this video on my night shift lunch break lol. So glad you decided to go into nursing! I’m not even an RN yet and its already so rewarding!! 💗
Hey! I'm a critical care nurse from the UK. I'm so glad you've decided to do nursing, I hope you enjoy it. It sounds so much more complicated to do in the US than the UK so it will be interesting to watch your journey and be able to compare the differences as this has always interested me.
wow, boy has life been crazy recently! congrats on your graduation and your future plans:) I struggle with knowing if i’m on the right track, or just what track to hop on to for starters, so it’s inspiring hearing your journey and mottos in life. also, your comments in the beginning were so well said! anyways, I just transferred to UO in January for winter term, and I have a year or two left so I’m excited to go back and have more time to explore. Eugene seems like a fun city to get to know and I’m pumped to learn about it! if you have any suggestions on what to do around town, if anything during this time, i’d appreciate it; i’m heading back at the end of the month. it’s crazy since I used to watch your videos all the time and recently looked you back up since I remembered you went there! loving the apartment and grad school content. hope you all stay safe and take care
Kiara I’m almost in your exact position right now and graduating as a bio major, I think nursing is a great option too! My gbig is doing a Masters of nursing program for students who already have their bachelors and prereques, so I think I might look into doing that too!! Just another path you might consider since you already have a bachelors but congratulations on everything :) and looking forward to your nursing videos!!
Nursing is a great field to get in to! Thank you so much for sharing your plans with us! It's always motivating to watch your videos and get a boost of productivity! I'm a dietetic student and I feel the same way! There are so many options in nursing and you will always have opportunities!
I’m so excited for you ! I am currently a BSN, RN who does home healthcare nursing! I’ve been a registered nurse for a year and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made ( definitely worth the money lol) You will love it ! Can’t wait for you to be part of this amazing community 😊
You're so wholesome, I really like you. Your sorority house tour got recommended and I was intrigued by the video and then I checked your other videos and now I'm hooked.
I am so happy for you! I’m in the same boat, trying to decide if grad school is worth it because of tuition. I also struggled to decide if the last four years were a waste. Talking to my parents, I decided to get my M.Ed. and i’m so excited for the next adventure. I also feel like this pandemic has made everything so much difficult, especially on trying to decide the future.
I am a sophomore in high school and I am interested in becoming a doctor someday! The thing that is kinda holding me back is the fact that sometimes i feel like light headed when i see wounds. It may sound silly but it makes me feel that I don't have what it takes to work in the medical field. I really would appreciate some advice on how to get over that fear or how to handle it a little better. Btw, CONGRATS! I am new to your channel but i wish you all the best in your future plans! ❤️
I’m so proud and excited for you!! It’s crazy to see how far you have come since the beginning. I’m starting my nursing bachelor after the summer so I can’t wait to kinda live through this with you and definitely use your tips!!
Ahh, so stoked to watch more of your apartment-hunting videos and the decorating of it once you find the right one. But I just realized I'm going to miss your room at home so so much.
Started watching your videos when I also was going to college (were the same year) and I watched your Oregon dorm tour. It’s been so cool to watch your college experience alongside with mine. I wish you the best in your new CC program and wish you the best! From one college grad to another, take the world by storm 😎
I’m so happy you are following you heart! I’ll be applying to grad school around that time. It’s crazy to think i started watching your videos as a senior in high school and i’ve been able to grow and watch you grow. I’m so excited for this new chapter in your life!
Good luck with your prereqs! Nursing is a great career that gives you so many options. I got BA in Political Science first and then went back to an ADN program. I was a little older though. (28). I've been a nurse for 8 years. Ots good to keep an open mind. I ended up loving and ending up in psych which was totally unexpected.
Congratulations on your decision! Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. I've been watching your channel for a while and am amazed at how far you've come and for taking us along with you. I hope the upcoming year is filled with things in your favor!!
In May I graduated with my BSN and at the end of this month I sit to take my NCLEX and I have to say I am so excited for you!! The road you have to take to earn your nursing degree is not easy, but I have no doubts about how incredible you will be one day! Work hard, and don't forget why you started! Best of luck :)
I’m finishing up my last year of my BSN. Nurse Liz is amazing!!!! I started questioning if I was cut out for it too but the work is worth it! Take a CNA or student nurse role after your first semester or two the experience is so great for clinical experience!!
Hearing how much of the plans regarding school and work are influenced by money makes me so grateful that in my country university is mostly paid by the State. I’m happy you found a way to follow your dreams and make it work! ✨
Some hospitals have programs where you sign contracts to work with them after you graduate and they’ll pay for nursing school! Also once you start your program, look into hospitals that hire students (we call it a nurse extern) it’s a great way to get comfortable with patients, doctors, and nurses. You’ll do amazing!
so happy for you kiara!! i’m going to be a senior this year and i’m thinking of going into the same path as you. thank you for sharing your journey with us. good luck!!! 🤍🤍
I’m going to be a nurse too! Although I’m a couple of years younger than you I’m so excited to see what the experience is like and learn from you. Thank you sm for sharing and for promoting self confidence. Love ya kiara!
Hi Kiara, such an insightful vlog- just shows everyone that perseverance and hard work can make your dreams come true. I liked how you wrote out and planned all the financials of both the college course and the fast track course and researched it all. You then came to the best conclusion 🙂 I wish you the best of luck. Love from Dubai xx
I’m not that far into the video yet, but I highly recommend getting a job as a CNA/PCT (at least 1 day/week) to help gain experience in direct patient care and also expose yourself to the field in general and get more comfortable. Yes, a lot of experience comes after school when you are out in the real world of nursing, but I promise it does nothing but help you in the end. You’d be surprised to see just how much CNA work a nurse has still has as part of their job. Working as a CNA can also help you solidify whether you think you truly want to go into nursing, no matter how passionate you feel you are prior to starting nursing school. I can’t tell you how many nurses I work with that think they’re above changing a diaper or helping someone to the bathroom. Part of my school’s requirements were to be CNA. I think more schools are starting to require it and it helps with classes like nursing fundamentals. Becoming a CNA really does help show people what they’re getting into and help them decide whether they want to stick to it or go a different direction. CNAs and nurses have each other’s back and work as a team...at least they’re supposed to. All the luck! 🧠
So happy for you Kiara!! I keeping coming back to your videos for motivation and they always put me in a positive, "enjoy life" mood! Good luck with the first phase of nursing school! I'm about to transfer from my community college to UNR to continue towards my BS in Teaching!
Hello Kiara, I live in France and I didn't know you had to pay that much for studies. Here, it is practically FREE to study anything you want, as long as you have the grades required. I have a lot of admiration for what you do and for your courage ! I am sure you will be a great nurse !
Congratulations! You are choosing a great career! I’ve been a nurse for 5 yrs now and didn’t go the traditional route to save money and it’s totally worth it. Also from your description of you work ethic and what made you want to get into nursing you should consider critical care that’s the kind of personality that works great in that area.
That is exactly the route that I took! I spent a fraction of the cost and I make the same amount of money as my coworkers. I’ve worked for a year in the ED (we see kids and adults) and it has been the best!
So exciting Kiara!! So happy for you I graduated with my BSN 3 years ago and work as a circulating nurse in the OR. No cooler place to work! I love being able to see the anatomy and work with such amazing surgeons and docs and techs that love teaching me. Highly recommend the OR!!
@@KiaraMadisen OR lets you work with product reps too. Especially in Ortho we do lots of implants and stuff where the rep comes in and shows you how it works and walks the surgeon through the process if needed. Maybe in the future if you wanted to go that route (since you mentioned it) you could network with the OR reps. There are reps for literally everything we use. IF you love kiddos, you could work in a pediatric OR. Look into Maddie Woods youtube page she makes a lot of videos about being an OR nurse. Best of luck again! :)
I am graduating HS in the end of June + my final exams to go to college! (I am so scared of failure too, but lets try and focus on what we want and not outside influences haha)
Wow good for you! That's so inspiring to hear that you are taking a leap and going into nursing! Cheers to our (hopefully) bright future 😊
Kiara I'm so so happy for you. You are so hard working and motivated that I know you'll not only get in but also make an amazing nurse in the future!! Super excited for future vlogs.
You're the sweetest thank you 💛
it's so insane that I found your channel the fall of your freshman college year ... I was going through the worse time of my life that fall, when you made my heart smile with every upload and I appreciate it! Like i tell my own 18 year old daughter, I am proud of you everyday! I can't wait to see the new content 😊
I am a pediatric ER nurse!! Best career ever. Loving on the babies in, what can be, the toughest days of their life, are the best and most humbling experiences of your life ❤️ you will be an amazing nurse!
that's so amazing Morgan! It would be such a privilege to help those families! I'm sure you're an amazing nurse 💕 Thanks for your service!
However, now I’m doing something I really enjoy even though the money is less but I’m using my degree.
hey girl! i am currently a nursing student! you are going to LOVE IT. it’s an amazing career, i’m so excited for you!!
Aww thank you so much Alexis! I’m really excited to get started 💕
Kiara Madisen OMG, my comment was worded so weird! i’m brain dead from clinical 😂 but yay!!! can’t wait to follow you on your journey!! 💘
Thank you so much for making this! People feel so pressured to finish their college plans in the traditional amount of time. I recently changed my major which pushed me back to graduating in December instead of May and I was so discouraged. Thankfully I realized that sometimes it takes more time and that’s okay!! 💞💞
You're so welcome! Glad you're following your heart!
Such wonderful advice! Wishing you the best of luck with all of your schooling!
Hey lady!
.
Current nursing student here, planning the same path as you; ADN-->BSN
.
Cost breakdown for the two year ADN program to BSN degree through your dream school:
ADN ~ 24K
BSN ~ 11K (the dean of nursing at my community college said OHSU lowered this cost and does not plan on raising it)
.
Thank you so much!! 💕
You should do some budgeting/what I spend in a week videos! I love watching those and I also live in the PNW considering moving to Portland so it would be helpful!
Great idea!! I will for sure be doing that 💛
I appreciate you being honest about the feelings you have around money and holding you back.
I start nursing school on August 17th! Good luck with everything girl!! I wish you all the best :)
Aww I am so excited for you! Best of luck!
This is the best video! So proud of you for knowing who you are and not being afraid of anything! Definitely inspired.
I’m so excited to see you accomplish whatever you accomplish. Anything you get to do is exactly planned out for you personally by the Universe. :)
So true! 💛
I wish you so much happiness! I hope you will truly be happy doing nursing! It's really inspirational to watch this video at this time because I am currently in the process of finishing high school and deciding on which college I will attend in fall.. :)
So excited for the next step in your journey too! Thanks so much for following along and always being so sweet 💕
I am so proud of you for deciding to become a nurse! You will make a wonderful addition to a healthcare team someday. This is so exciting and I cannot wait to watch your journey!!
Thank you so much!! I'm so excited 💛
I also wanted to say that as your followers, we totally understand that sometimes people fail, and that's okay!! We are rooting for you 100%, and are here for you!! You got this!! ❤️
Aww thanks Taylor! i needed to hear that. Nobody's perfect 💕
Congrats on finally figuring out what you plan to do Kiara. I will miss your college videos but am looking forward to all the new content you will be making. Can you please make one on your skincare and your makeup routine updated as of now?
Peds nurse here 👋🧸 it is such an amazing and rewarding job. Yes it is tough and you deal with some hard things, but you get to be there and support people in their most vulnerable timea
Kiara, I really appreciate your positivity during this time! I'm sorry that college had to end like this, but you are going to CHANGE THE WORLD!
There is NO doubt you will get into your dream school! You are a smart, fierce, kind, ORGANIZED (lol), wonderful person and they will love you. You got this girlie!!
I hope so! Thanks so much for hyping me up...love you so much!
Kiara Madisen Love you too and I’m always here to hype you up lol!
Aww that's so cool! I'm hoping I get into this specific CNA program soon so I can get certified!
So happy for you and also so happy for all of us because nursing school videos are coming!!!
I think you will be a fabulous nurse ❤️ I’m so excited to see some different parts of your life, can’t wait to see the new apartment videos!
You're so wholesome, I really like you. Your sorority house tour got recommended and I was intrigued by the video and then I checked your other videos and now I'm hooked.
Congrats on graduating and for finding what you want for your future as a nurse! Looking forward to following you in your next chapter:)!
Thank you so much!!
I'm soo proud of you Kiara, you have come from a long way and ik you will do great , trust yourself.
I’m so proud and excited for you!! It’s crazy to see how far you have come since the beginning. I’m starting my nursing bachelor after the summer so I can’t wait to kinda live through this with you and definitely use your tips!!
So excited for you!! Just graduated with my BSN. It’s definitely a tough journey but totally worth it in the end!
Omg congrats!! Really excited to join the nursing squad 💕
Ahh, so stoked to watch more of your apartment-hunting videos and the decorating of it once you find the right one. But I just realized I'm going to miss your room at home so so much.
You are so inspirational Kiara.
thanks love 💕
Started watching your videos when I also was going to college (were the same year) and I watched your Oregon dorm tour. It’s been so cool to watch your college experience alongside with mine. I wish you the best in your new CC program and wish you the best! From one college grad to another, take the world by storm 😎
I’m so happy you are following you heart! I’ll be applying to grad school around that time. It’s crazy to think i started watching your videos as a senior in high school and i’ve been able to grow and watch you grow. I’m so excited for this new chapter in your life!
So happy we’ve been able to grow together!! Cheers to our next steps 🎊💛
So incredibly proud of you, Kiara! You are going to be an awesome nurse and do amazing things!
Wow good for you! That's so inspiring to hear your story 💕
Dude ! You are going to do so well in whatever the future holds !!! Good luck and have fun I cannot wait to watch the process
unfold
Thanks so much!! love ya! 💛
Congratulations on your decision! Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. I've been watching your channel for a while and am amazed at how far you've come and for taking us along with you. I hope the upcoming year is filled with things in your favor!!
OMG KIKI I am SOOOO proud of you oh my word. Love you tons, you radiate such positivity it's inspiring... congrats on 275k bbyyy!!
Thank you so much babe!! Love you to pieces ❤️
Omg that’s so exciting Callie! Thanks so much for the advice...best of luck on your NCLEX I know you’re going to kill it 💕
I’m finishing up my last year of my BSN. Nurse Liz is amazing!!!! I started questioning if I was cut out for it too but the work is worth it! Take a CNA or student nurse role after your first semester or two the experience is so great for clinical experience!!
Congratz.you are a very wise girl...stand strong and listen to that little voice...its never wrong
Hearing how much of the plans regarding school and work are influenced by money makes me so grateful that in my country university is mostly paid by the State. I’m happy you found a way to follow your dreams and make it work! ✨
I know that is such a great opportunity! Thanks so much for watching and commenting 💕
I have heard about that! Definitely a really good option for me to look into!
so happy for you kiara!! i’m going to be a senior this year and i’m thinking of going into the same path as you. thank you for sharing your journey with us. good luck!!! 🤍🤍
Kiara I just love your perspective in life
I’m going to be a nurse too!
OMG I’m so proud of you!! This is going to be a great adventure to follow with you. I can’t wait!
Yay! So happy to have you along for the ride 💕
That's so good to hear! Thanks for sharing your story!
So exciting Kiara!! So happy for you I graduated with my BSN 3 years ago and work as a circulating nurse in the OR. No cooler place to work! I love being able to see the anatomy and work with such amazing surgeons and docs and techs that love teaching me. Highly recommend the OR!!
That’s so awesome! My mom and I were just talking about how I would love to work in the OR so we shall see 😏
@@KiaraMadisen OR lets you work with product reps too.
I am either going to study law or international relations (dream was to study in the US but why would I pay so much tuition when in my country it costs 1000 max, maybe who knows a masters degree in the US), you have been an inspiration since I found your videos and you are the big sister I never had, because the pre-exam stress is real and your videos really help me!
Thank you and love from Portugal! ❤
so excited for you! i’m in my last year of nursing school in singapore :-) not gonna lie, it’s super hard sometimes and i had many many melt downs 🙃 but it’s soooooo rewarding at the end of the day esp when you see your patients recovering!!!!! all the best kiara!!!!!!
