  • It's time to move the sawmill closer to the wood lot. This will keep the mess out of sight and give me the room to sort and stack the logs before milling them. In this video I make a solid white oak platform for the sawmill which will keep everything straight and solid. It also lifts it out off the ground to a more comfortable height for working. I hope you enjoy and please SUBSCRIBE!!

It's a work in progress, should be cutting lots of lumber this fall.

I bought the OS18 on a Fathers Day Sale this year, 25% off. Total cost was $2505 with a 5' extension and shipping.
I have it completely assembled, but due to the weather here in Coastal South Carolina, I have not been able to level a place to put it.
Too hot and humid and now it looks like we will get Tropical Storm Debby all this week. 8/5/2024
No hurry. When things cool down and the ground dries out, I'll use my QH12 Excavator to prepare a place in my backyard.

It’s a really nice machine for smaller logs. Most of my logs are in the 10-14” range although I just snuck a 20” giant through it yesterday. Video coming soon!
