Crazy that people out here are skilled enough to do this kind of stuff And I’m out here still on my first play through with over 70 hours cuz I want to experience everything before beating it and playing NG+ or a new character 🙃
I'm always seeing this type of statement in speedruns. Well, that's two different objectives and motivation. One is to speedrun, another is to fully experience the game freely, there is no reason to be hard on yourself.
if you end up watching another one of these speedruns in the future, you can actually see the patch on the main menu when they quit out, if you want to pause and catch it.
I used to just look up speed runs and watch them but after comming across your channel i cannot watch a speed run without it being one of your videos. I enjoy your commentary and personality and i wish you nothing but the best, and thanks for the great content.
You know you’re complaining about magic but I get to kill things in one shot when for the entire early game I’m getting one shot . I’ve earned this right

On regards to playing claw all the time. I tend to play some rather input demanding games so claw seemed like a learning curve i should get over. Once you start using it some places all you have to do is practjce. Also check your wrist positioning and how you are holding the controller the biggest issues people run into when trying claw is tensing their fingers up.
You should see the guy who can one shot every boss and when the boss phase change he gets another hit because the move changes or cut senses but hey I dont want say anymore but I'll go find the video again
fun lil trick get mohgs shackel and just before you enter the fog use it 3 times then after the third time go through the fog and he freezes and you can u scarlett rot to kill him dont hit him with melee that will reset him and he will become active. also stay a goood distance away i say about the third 5 step you should be fine and once he is infected with rot just run to the fogwall again to make sure he doesnt reset. mohg should die in 3 casts off scarlett rot. this bug also works for margott. on the most recent patch 1.041

I would think all official speedruns would need to be on the current patch (exception of any% unrestricted) If zips are banned because of hardware, it wouldn't make since for an official run be able to cheese certain bosses or whatever glitch that has been patched in a later version speedrun. Now if playstation/Xbox allowed to downgrade versions.....
